The Nintendo Switch is a success on all fronts: it’s a unique, well-made console that has a bunch of great games. And it’s on pace to outsell its predecessor in just one year. Recently the Switch passed the 10 million units sold mark, despite launching in March of this year. And this took even Nintendo by surprise (who had to increase production twice). Not only is the console selling millions of units, the games are too: Mario Odyssey, Zelda Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart 8 have each sold 5 million copies on the Switch. Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime commented on the success of the console and the incredible pace that it’s on. âThe fact that we reached 10 million units sold on a global basis and weâre not fully through the holidays is unprecedented territory for Nintendo”, Fils-Aime told CNN. He added “The pace is one of the fastest in our own history and in gaming history.” local_offer reggie fils-aime Switch stars Further Reading FIFA 19 on Switch features PS4 Pro ads NPD: Nintendo had the best July month since 2
