Mario games dominate the Wii U eShop sales chart

To see just how important “Mario” is as a brand for Nintendo, one only has to look at last week’s top 20 best selling games on the Wii U eShop.

The list is dominated by Mario games, where 7 out of the top 10 games are Mario titles, and 13 out of 20 are Mario titles.

Only one third part game was in the top 20: Minecraft.
