Zen Pinball 2 is scheduled to be released very soon here in the United States, so the studio has published a list of the day one content that will be available for the Wii U eShop. As we’ve already reported, the initial game will be available for free and additional tables will be available as DLC packages, with several different tables of varying difficulties. Some of the more exclusive tables are tied up in bundles which is a bit of a hassle. Here is the table availability:

  • Zen Classic Pack featuring TeslaEl DoradoV12 and Shaman
  • Marvel Pinball featuring Spider-ManWolverineBlade and Iron Man
  • Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles featuring Marvel’s The AvengersInfinity GauntletWorld War Hulk, and Fear Itself
  • Marvel Pinball: Vengeance and Virtue featuring X-MenThorGhost Rider and Moon Knight
  • Individual DLC Tables: ExcaliburEarth DefenseSorcerer’s LairParanormal,MarsEpic QuestPlants vs. ZombiesFantastic Four and Captain America
The studio announced previously that pricing will be $3 for individual tables and $10 for the table packs that include multiple tables. It’s not a bad way to pick and choose which tables you want to play. If you’re looking forward to this release, let us know in the comments!

By the time I get the Wii U this Friday, I’d be more than grateful purchasing Zen Pinball 2.

I wish they’d at least give us a concrete release date in the U.S. =/

  • The strategy for this title is probably the most unique one I’ve ever seen, main game for free, and additional tables for a few bucks. The strategy  could either work very well or fail drastically, I hope for the first part that it’ll work really well.

When I get a wiiu I’ll definitely will get this title and atleast one set of additional tables. Pinball games are “allmost” as good as the real pinball tables, two classic pinball games on the nes got played completely dry in our household back in the days.  So yes I’m looking forward to this one.

  • Between the 2 3DS titles, my best is Earth Defense, with El Dorado in second place. I just wish Excalibur didn’t have straight shots to the gutters.

sooo which tables will the free version come with?

  • Why is Zen pinball taking so damn long?.. its been delayed once now either its coming out by later today or its going to be delayed again, its not that big of a game size wise. Whats going on? if it was to think of a strategy, they should have thought about that way before they decided to give a release date. Thats what all those top paid people at the studios get paid to do.
