The Nintendo emulator Cemu has a working version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s been out for a while and it’s running pretty smoothly (thanks to tens of thousands in donations the developers get).

Now they’re showing off what Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks like in 4K. And it looks incredible. It makes us wish Nintendo released a powerful 4K console.

Check out the video above of the game running in 4K. The emulator actually renders the game at 8K and then downsamples to 4K for improved visual quality.

We can only imagine how it would look with proper 4K assets from Nintendo.
