In a recent appearance on the Class vs. Crass podcast, Nintendo developer Renegade Kid confirmed that its 3DS title Xeodrifter will be heading to Wii U later this year. Developer Jools Watsham said that the port from 3DS to Wii U won’t take long to complete and he hinted at a cross-buy offer for those of you who already own Xeodrifter on the 3DS.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Xeodrifter originally released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in December of 2014 in North America. It’ll be released on June 18 in Europe. The game is an action-packed exploration game in retro platformer style.

Watsham didn’t give a release date for the Wii U version of Xeodrifter yet, but expect it this year.
