Japanese Club Nintendo owners who purchase The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and register the game with their Club Nintendo account will receive the soundtrack from the game for free. The soundtrack features more than 50 tracks with many of them remastered.

Right now this deal seems to be exclusive to Club Nintendo Japan, as there is no word on whether the same deal will be available to those in North America or Europe. We’ll let you know if this changes at any point in the future as the game releases on September 29th in North America and October 4th in Europe.

Who isn’t? Other the Japanese of course.

  • Shota

    no way!

  • Ony

I have the Ocarina of time OST, 25th Zelda anniversary (and platine Mario Galaxy medley) on CD from the Club Nintendo, I need this one~

    • Merrfn

You are a quite the collector…

  • WarioForever

America gets gold and platinum members, Japan gets free soundtrack, and Europe gets what?! NOTHING!

    • Ony

      I know that feel bro

    • Petri

Europe sure seems to get shorter stick with Nintendo.
Here in Finland we get wallpapers, avatars and user uploaded pictures…

I have a nice stack of those member points, or what ever they were, but nothing to use them on.
I’ll wait until close to 2015 when they start expiring, and if Nintendo hasn’t got us anything, I’ll give them away.

      • Peter Lythaby

I convert mine into wii points for VC

        • Petri

I’ve read thats something some people here does, after changing Wii’s country to UK it works.
I dont know if it would work with Wii U’s Wii mode,
But havent really seen it worth the hassle, since I only have Wii U.
I guess could buy Wii VC titles with those points, and then switch them to U with 1€.

          • Peter Lythaby

It definitely works. I got Super Star Wars last week.

          • Petri

Yes, but I’ll wait and see if they give something directly for Wii U.

          • Peter Lythaby

Now that would be nice 🙂

      • Jon

Seriously? You need to take a look at the NA club Nintendo rewards. Europe’s are much better than ours. You guys can get a sound track already for Mario Galaxy, get Wii points cards to buy VC titles for free, a figurine that was a platinum reward for us, screen cleaning cloths, Pikmin keychains and so on. Our best is probably posters and the hanafuda cards.

People in Europe need to stop thinking they get worse rewards than NA because they are better than what NA has, If I had EU, I would not have any points left ever. But with NA, I have 2300 coins and nothing really good to spend it on however I will be forced to come the end of this year before 1200 of them expire. I am hoping they will be adding more stuff or so some limited time offer but those are rare and not announced well so usually when I hear about them, they are gone.

        • Petri

          You guys?
          Missed something in my post?
Club Nintendo does not work on every European/PAL country.
And last time I checked, there was shoe laces and notebooks on UK club, Wii points are nice I guess, but not worth the hassle with Wii U.
Though it seems U.S club doesn’t have as nice rewards as last time I checked.

      • Gotallofthem

You already have gotten all the latest releases days/weeks before the US, what more do you want? How bout you have your fellow EU friends actually purchase a WiiU, considering it is doing worse over there.

        • Petri

Maybe that has something to do with localization or rating?
          I don’t think they’re favouring either region.
We are still waiting on Scribblenauts, but that’s on those stupid cats…

But during my history in gaming, Europe has usually had releases after U.S, so this has been surprising that so many games has released first here lately.

    • Wayne Beck

Didn’t EU get the coolest Pikimin 3 launch items?

      • Jon

They also have the option to get Mario Galaxy sound tracks right now as a normal club nintendo item.

        • Merrfn

          Well thats fair.

      • Merrfn

Yeah, I am pretty sure they get cool everything!

    • Jon

strange, you guys have Mario Galaxy sound tracks and yet NA doesn’t get those. To be honest, there are a lot of things on the Europe (looking at the UK club nintendo) one that I would love to have such has those Pikmin key chains, Screen cleaning cloths, Wii points card, NES classic notebook (yeah, but I like Zelda too much and the one with link I want :P), Sound track CDs. You guys even have a figurine that was a platinum reward from 2010. Now what does NA get?, the posters are pretty much the best thing, then the hanafuda cards and then we occasionally get these gold and platinum rewards where we only get if we buy $300 or $600 worth of games (usually) where we can get a sound track, or poster, some calender or whatever. Personally, the UK gets better stuff than NA over all.

      • Merrfn

Quit your whining the both of you. Wan’t to take a trip to New Zealand? We get the “best” stuff -.-

    • Ducked

Europe is the smallest market according to Nintendo

      • Petri

What I liked about Sony, was that even in our small country, we got everything that rest of Europe got.
And some games were even localized in our language.
Even Microsoft seemed to support whole Europe better than Nintendo does.

That’s something I’d wish Nintendo worked on, but not really something I require, most of Nintendo games can be played even if cant speak English and also it helps learning English if everything is not in our native language.
I learned my English from Fallout.

        • Ducked

Exactly. Nintendo needs to realize that every region counts.

    • Merrfn

Japans loyalties lie with Nintendo so Nintendo are loyal to Japan.

  • Japan keeps all the coolest things for themselves. They should learn how to share.

  • AAAkabob

They even get awesome shirts as rewards!

    • Merrfn

I feel embarrassed when I where video gaming/internet related merchandise. Makes me feel like such a nerd ;(

      • AAAkabob

Haha I’d only wear it if it was subtle. Like I have this as my phone cover No one is gonna know wtf it is unless they are into the series. In which case could be a conversation piece.

        • Merrfn

I am quite a self conscious person, insecure person so when I get a new hair cut or where some nerdy clothes and here somebody laughing I think they a laughing at me.

However I will wear a “wrist band” or just something subtle. Like that iPhone case. It is awesome :O

  • Lusunup

-.- Please do it for America

    • Ducked

No, were already getting enough silly

      • Jon

there is not really much on club nintendo that is worth getting…..

        • Ducked

          I know…

      • Alex

Dude we don’t have much rewards at America at all.

  • CEObrainz

    Must have that soundtrack….

  • Emufred

Wait is Japan getting the bundle also?

  • SonicLucario

    Im gonna move to Japan….

  • Elem187

You got the date wrong. Wind Waker HD releases September 20th on the E-Shop, not the 29th

  • Fred

Not to be picky but Wind Waker comes to North America October 4th (unless you buy it from the eShop then it’s Sept 20th)

    • Baum 「ツリー」

It’s not even official if EVERYONE will be able to get it on the 20th or if the included Code in the bündle just activates then…or is it?

      • Fred

        It is official!

If I buy this game it’ll be at midnight on the 20th.
If you open up the eShop on your Wii U one of the messages scrolling along the top says available at midnight on the 20th.

  • Elitepwnsface

i got a sound track for Ocarina of time. I bet it will happen in America.

  • lucky 😛

  • david jarman

    (Flys to Japan)

  • Steve

And… The US gets what, after years of crap?

    • Merrfn

The US gets a piece of crap in return for giving Nintendo years of crap.

  • ZeldaFanzzzz

I preorder the Wind Waker HD bundle, would be cool if they gave this away in America….-.-

  • Mochlum

Something cool on Club Nintendo? Confirmed to not come to NA…

  • Keyser

This would go perfect with my Majora’s Mask soundtrack!

    • Merrfn

Play them both at the same time backwards and discover a secret, subliminal Illuminati message :O
