No matter if you’re planning on buying Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze physically or digitally, you should head over to the Wii U eShop to check out the cool music Nintendo has switched to in order to celebrate the release of the new game. It’s tropical and fits the theme of Donkey Kong Country games well.

This isn’t the first time Nintendo has done something like this, but it’s little touches like this that make the console experience that much brighter. There’s no telling how long the new theme music will last, so enjoy it while you can!

I can’t believe I didn’t even notice that the music changed . I much prefer this one.

Um, strange. I am at the EU and bought the game yesterday at 12AM, but didn’t notice the change. No, I think they must have changed it afterwards. I will check it when I arrive home.

    That’s some good, upbeat music

          Lol ,lame. this.

If only the sunny surf music in the eShop was matched by the weather outside. Though I suppose it is Tropical Freeze, so my deep frost outside is inline with the game if it isn’t inline with the music.

Off topic, I don’t know how to do a news tip, go ahead and crucify me, but Diddy Kong has been confirmed as a playable character in the new Super Smash Bros. for some time now.
