Wii Fit U has been in the hands of consumers since December and Nintendo is actively updating the title to ensure a quality experience is had by everyone. If you’re wondering what the update you downloaded for Wii Fit U contained, here’s Nintendo of America’s support page listing for the version 1.2.0 update:

Ver. 1.2.0 [Released 3/13/14]

  • Users that have a Fit Meter registered can now access their own data immediately after starting Wii Fit U from the Fit Meter transfer screen.
  • Users can now post their Fit Meter activity screen to Miiverse after starting Miiverse from the Home Menu.
  • At the Piggy Bank screen, after transitioning from the Fit Meter, users can now display the consumed calorie value that was just transferred.
  • An error was resolved that could cause miscalculation of “Fit Meter Challenge” data if it was transferred from the Fit Meter at the exact time the date changes.

It seems as though some fixes for the Fit Meter have been addressed, namely to make it easier to access the data you’ve transferred from your Fit Meter into the game.

Wish we got that green and white meter in the states. Not really digging the 80s style black and silver.

      • palomino blue

Whaaaaat? I bought mine last year during the promotion. Figures.

  • ChrisCamp

This is all great and everything but where’s the software update that makes me look a little less nerdy walking around with the fit meter attached to my belt? Luckily my desire to unlock fun Mii outfits outweigh my real life need to look cool

    • huh? how will a software update help you with your problem?

      • Josiah Parsons

Oh, software updates fix EVERYTHING, especially if you have to pay for them.

        • Jamal

  • Sam

I like that picture of the GamePad. Hee hee

  • DragonSilths

All these small updates, and none of them do anything that actually helps the Wii U situation. Also off topic but did you all here thay the PS4 in Canada starting today is going UP $50 and that all PS4 games from now on will be $65-$70? Xbox One games will be $65. What the hell is going on with the gaming industry man…

  • RecheDiazrivarola

    i like it

  • SP-937-215

How about you give me the ability to use the Gamepad buttons to control Wii games??? Oh, right, that would actually be a highly useful feature. Go ahead and nick it from to do list. Nintendo, seriously.
