Over the past few days since the launch of the Wii U virtual console, there has been a lot of talk in the comments section about which games everyone wants to see. With the launch of Xevious and Solomon’s Key today, many people are asking when they’ll see their favorite game available on the virtual console. We decided to create a short poll for fun to see what titles everyone is looking forward to the most. If your title isn’t listed below, let us know in the comments what you want to see Nintendo focus on next! Which Wii U virtual console release are you most looking forward to? local_offer Nintendo wii u Wii U virtual console stars Further Reading F-Zero X gets updated on Wii U to fix control New Zelda Breath of the Wild trailer and game Super Mario Maker Wii U vs 3DS comparison (vi Get Ocarina of Time on 3DS for only $14 New teaser site for Zelda: Breath of the Wild released How to track NES Classic Mini stock in time for Christmas Anything But M$ Mario Sunshine Lunatic But… They can’t. The Gamepad and Pro controllers don’t have analog trigger buttons, so you wouldn’t be able to hold them down halfway to move and use the Fludd at the same time. It would ruin the experience. Steven Mahl http://wiiudaily.com/2013/05/amazon-gamecube-adapter-for-wii-u/ problem solved! Alex Damman that’s good too, but they’d have to rely on third-party products or start producing their own… it’s not ideal… but i still think the gamepad could do it. people keep forgetting that the thing has a touchscreen, you could have buttons ON THE TOUCHSCREEN if you don’t have enough actual buttons on the controller. Bcphoton Host Or they could make their own adapter… SeroReviews That’s simple: L and R are halfway, ZL and ZR are all-the-way press. Or they can simply launch a new controller. Zorpix i like that idea. of l and r Tim van Broekhoven And what about the Z button? Oum’Bushay ZL ZR… Lunatic But he just said he’d assign halfway to ZL/ZR. You can’t have both. Oum’Bushay You are actually so stupid… Lunatic The Gamecube controller has two triggers with (essentially) two states each (pressed and half pressed), and a Z button. That’s 5 functions (L all the way, L halfway, R all the way, R halfway, Z pressed), and you want to assign them to 4 buttons? So… Who’s stupid? Alex Damman touchscreen Lunatic Then you don’t have a plain Z button any more. Alex Damman touchscreen. Nintenjoe82 what about the wiimote or gamepad gyroscope to aim fludd? Kyle Berger L and R aren’t analog. at least I don’t think so. I love the gamepad, but the biggest problem is no analog triggers. DemonRoach You can use the angle of the controller to server as an analog button in that case. Lunatic None of the secondary controllers (Classic, Classic Pro, Wii U Pro) have motion control built in, so you’d be limiting play to the Gamepad. Also, there are two triggers, so tilt for analog can’t really work like that. Bob Wilkerson Couldn’t you just use the ZL and ZR buttons for trigger buttons and then the R button as the old Z button?? I believe the Wii U VC has button mapping so it can be used with a variety of controller types. Lunatic Yes, obviously you can use the trigger buttons as the trigger buttons, but that’s not the point. In Sunshine, it’s important to be able to hold the R button halfway down, and the new controllers have no halfway down. So unless they awkwardly map a random extra button to “R halfway down”, this wouldn’t really work (and even this would have to be done on a case-by-case basis for every GC game that uses the triggers analog, and would be difficult if BOTH triggers need to be used as such). The Pro controllers have 4 buttons that the GC controllers don’t have: clickable analog sticks (2), a select (-) button, and a left bumper. Seeing as the extra bumper is the only button that could feasibly be held down for extended periods of time, mapping halfway points for both triggers is pretty much impossible. The only thing I could think of is to make Z be triggered by pressing one of the sticks, since it isn’t used that often, and make the bumpers their respective triggers’ halfway points, but that still wouldn’t be perfectly sufficient in all cases. All in all, I think Nintendo really screwed itself with so many significant controller redesigns (Classic Controller, CC Pro, Wii U Pro). If they really want this to work, they’re going to need to release ANOTHER version of the Wii U Pro with analog triggers, rumble, motion sensing and a speaker to cover all their bases. Then they’re gonna need to apologize to everyone who has 50 differing iterations of the things, make a trade-in program and NEVER change the design again. A bit ironic, coming from the first company to realize that making a motion controller standard with the system is the only way to get developers to support it. Bob Wilkerson I thought they were analog… Apparently not. Well that was dumb not to include those. Not sure how I missed that Brandon They did not include the analog triggers not because they were dumb, it’s because of lawsuits. See? http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/1027933/microsoft-nintendo-sued-games-controller Bob Wilkerson Thanks @disqus_UOzllxbghb:disqus. I did not know that. Does that mean the next controller from Microsoft will not have the analog triggers either? I didn’t realize that there was a patent on that type of trigger which seems so standard to me on a game controller. Bob Wilkerson I was just looking over the Nyko Wii U controller and the design of that looks like the trigger buttons are analog. I could be wrong but they stick out further and look to be pressure sensative. If so maybe I will pick that up as my second Pro controller Levi Johansen So anascape has the right to pressure sensitive triggers? But Playstation and Xbox still has pressure sensitive triggers… And Nintendo kept producing the Classic Controller with pressure sensitive triggers AFTER this article was written! Dani Nintendo has to make a controller with shoulder analogs… I just cannot understand why the new controllers dont have it. How will we play Project Cars without these ??? Nintenjoe82 Wii Classic Controller has analog shoulders but so far I see nobody using them Levi Johansen Using last-gen accessories should never be required to play games! Lunatic And they ditch them on the Classic Controller Pro and the Wii U Pro Controller. So… Yeah. Guest Whoa. Matt Schoen, you must really not want Super Mario Sunshine on the Wii U. Your determined to condemn the possibility of it being on the Wii U. There’s a bunch of ways that they could make up for there not being “z” button. Especially with all of the button layouts. it could be as simple as a combination with two buttons. Nintenjoe82 L3 to stand still. Solved. Lunatic Pointing out a flaw in someone’s logic doesn’t mean the same thing as not wanting something. I actually just started replaying Sunshine a week or so ago. It’s a good game. It’s just not ideally suited for the controller without awkward modifications to the control scheme. Alex Damman people… for god’s sake… THE GAMEPAD HAS A TOUCHSCREEN ON IT. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF THE ACTUAL BUTTONS ARE A SINGLE BUTTON SHORT OF WHAT’S NEEDED OR TWENTY BUTTONS SHORT. YOU CAN PUT THEM ON THE TOUCHSCREEN. Levi Johansen No, I will never use the touchscreen to play VC games! Then I’d rather buy a used GameCube, but I shouldn’t have to do that. Nintendo is the masters of backwards compability. They MUST make a GameCube adapter and then start to manufacture GameCube controllers again. Or make a new Wii U Pro Controller that has pressure sensitive triggers. Touchscreen cannot be used as a button, it would be awkward and make the gameplay horrible. Kaihaku I imported a new Gamecube controller from Japan a few years ago. It was made for the Wii and had a nice long cord. I don’t know why it was never released in North America. Lunatic The touchscreen on the VC is for pulling up the menu, and they wouldn’t add special touchscreen buttons for only one game. They need to standardize things like button layouts, or they can’t port over a LOT of games easily. That’s probably one of the reasons why Wind Waker is getting its own non-VC port. Also, it would be really awkward for people to have to take their hands away from the main controls to use the touchsceen in a game that wasn’t designed with this feature in mind. Mario games are fast paced, and you need to be able to press several buttons at once. If you have to touch the screen to move while shooting, you can’t ALSO do things like jump. lonewolf88 lol what? sdmac200600 What they should do is release a Wii U Gamecube controller. I think the reason why they haven’t said anything about out Gamecube games on the VC. I’m sure alot of people would want to play their Smash Bros. with a Gamecube controller anyways so I don’t see why they canlt do it. Alex Damman that’s what the dual triggers would be good for (right trigger is move and shoot, right bumper is tand and shoot.)… or they could come up with something creative with the wiimote and nunchuck AAAkabob Better still, incorporate the motion controls to aim water DemonRoach the right analog can control it, the motion controls can control it, etc Johny lol ninendo would work something out… but it is a shame yes that wii u gamepad doesnt have analogue trigger and shoulder buttons Jim Wanstall The most underrated Mario game ever and yet one of the best I have ever played . Waluigi Waluigi Moonshine Alex I wonder if Nintendo is making a Waluigi game because their is a Mario game, a Wario Game, and a Luigi game all they need now is a Waluigi game and show new experience with Waluigi. Alex Damman you know, i’ve always wandet waluigi to get more game-time, and especially for him to appear in the wario games like warioware (i’d love to see what microgames he could come up with to feed wario’s moneymaking schemes). but apparently his only purpose is to be in the mario spinoff titles. 🙁 WarioForever ME, Wario, wanta my brothers game, with many golda, WHAHAHA! I musta be in his game. Waluigi I love you Noah Hood Heck yeah! I want Super Mario Sunshine U! That would be amazing. The game already had awesome graphics for the gamecube’s standards. And the gameplay was extremely creative. Me and my sister played it for hour and hours on my gamecube. It would be amazing to have a sequel for it on the wii u. That Guy Nevermind I’d play this since i didn’t have a Gamecube! José Abraham Cervantes Posadas Hehe, I don’t like it very much, I feel it to short but It was a very good game, but I think that we don’t will see GCN games soon :/, I want twin snakes, and maybe a Metal Gear Solid Collection AZHood Isn’t Super Metroid coming out for 30 cents next week? Conker’s Bad Fur Day is my vote, although I know it won’t happen for some time (or never). Ashley King Hah! I jokingly was going to include Conker’s but decided against it. 🙂 Squid I miss Rare being with Nintendo. They should at least get the rights to the characters. Ashley King Their early days with Microsoft weren’t too bad. Viva Pinata was actually really fun for people who like survival/pokemon type stuff. Microsoft has basically gutted them, though. juancamiloarq Microsoft killed Rare. A while back one of their top designers quit and said he got really frustrated because they where just developing concepts that never came to be. Sad for that much talent. Cerus98 If its characters they own like Donkey Kong they own them. But DK64 never made it to the VC for some reason. MS re-released Conker but they gutted it and took out every bit of what made that game awesome. Agent721 None, I want Dragon Warrior! All of them! And how about the old school sim Aerobiz?? Ashley King Anyone else remember the SNES games Aero the Acrobat? Loved those games. Saul Rivera Yeah and Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel disqus_W5EBC3fBat Link to the past should be on this list Jon Secret of mana, never got it on the Wii yet but if it comes to the Wii U VC, I’d definitely take it 🙂 Leo Demon’s Crast Steven Mahl The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Th3PANO yeah, wanted to say the same. Robyn Hermann Tiger Heli….Loved that game would play for hours Ashley King I used to get so angry at that game! Robyn Hermann I use to hate when the bombs would go off and you wouldn’t have hit that button! Lunatic Nobody said Smash Bros? Really? The original Smash Bros would be my top choice. Melee would be nice too, but as it stands I can still play it on my Wii with all my data and GC controllers. Since transferring my Wii data over I can no longer play it with GC controllers (and Nintendo still hasn’t added the seemingly obvious option of letting you use the Pro Controllers for Wii VC games), so it’s not as fun to play. My second choice for VC games would have to be Mario Party 3, which I still can’t believe they haven’t rereleased yet. It has a two-player RPG-like mode! It was FANTASTIC! I don’t get why they stopped at 2 on the VC. If we’re actually assuming that they’re going to release GC games to the VC, then my top choice there would be Kirby Air Ride, which I still play all the time, since it’s AWESOME. It’s the only console game I know that can be completely played with one hand (A/L/R are the only buttons used in-game, so I can drink a beer and own my friends at the same time. HA). Double Dash might be nice too. I miss the days where you could play through the grand prix with more than a single player, unlocking stuff, even (multiplayer options for Mario Kart Wii kinda suck in comparison). Magnus Eriksson Agree on all but the first Smash Bros. Melee is really the best in the series, Brawl second. The original was good in its time, but time has beaten it up to hard. Brandon Mario party 1 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 3 & they could just use the control stick spinning mini game controls here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUgtsq88IkU Desiderio Lazaro Mario Party 3 FTW!!!! Super Buu GameCube games. Specifically, Cubivore (Didn’t have the chance to play it, it’s so rare), Eternal Darkness, F-Zero GX (F-Zero X is my favorite racing game of all time and I heard this one is even better), Metroid Prime. Nintedward Excuse me sir , you just took the thoughts out of my very head and posted them on this forum. I’m going to have to issue you a Thought extraction ticket. Next time I will be forced to use my Anti thought extraction device (Golf club) xD Seriously though , nice comment! Super Buu Thank you, my good sir. Justin Gray Original two Pikmin games. There should be a good plugin rate for those seeing how the fans are anticipating Pikmin 3. Bob Wilkerson I got both of them (Wii versions) for $5 each when Best Buy put them on sale. Pre-owned but still a good deal. I never played the Pikmin series but I enjoyed the Pikmin mini game in NintendoLand. I beat Pikmin1 already and will try and find time to complete Pikmin2 before 3 comes out this summer. val berger F-Zero GX somehow happened to be one of my all time favorites. Everything about that game seemed to be right. Daniel Schwarz This seems like a pretty random list of games here. Some already on the VC, others not even announced. A bunch of N64 games, one SNES, one NES. Seriously, where did this list come from? Jedi Russ none of the above the gamecube rogue squadron games and mario kart double dash please. ludist210 Super Mario 64 for me…I still enjoy playing through that one. Adrian I think I did a run through some time in college and beat it in like 2 or 3 hours. Haha. Of course that’s just getting min. amount of stars. Sora Morp NO!!!I I want a gamecube VC when are they coming already!? although I voted for SM64. Zombie Boy I’m sure I could see myself playing through Ocarina Of Time again (already completed it once on the N64 and once on the GC), but mostly I’d like to see the N64 version of F-Zero. And maybe Rogue Squadron (which I’m sure EA would love, given their rights to the Star Wars franchise). audi lover Rouge sqaudron got my vote for def, first game I bought at cube mid night release, played all night great times Zombie Boy And Mario Kart 64. My favourite of the series. Brian Wunderlich any of the Castlevania series Brian Wunderlich Leave a message…SMB2 and Super Ghouls n Ghost’s arrive next week 5/16/2013, so i’m happy with that beerkin Super mario2??? I haven’t seen that announcement. Awesome!!!! Ryan House I do not want any of these games. There is a Wii Title that is hard to find. its a remake of a NES classic “A BOY AND HIS BLOB” I wish the Wii Remake would be available for download Ashley King You can pick it up on ebay for $20. Not bad. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-Wii-A-Boy-and-His-Blob-Game-COMPLETE-/400463109095?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item5d3d761be7 Ryan House I have Ocarina of time. Three Times. I have the Original Gold N64 Cartridge. I have the Master Quest Gamecube Disc and I have the Majora’s Mask GameCube Disc which includes Ocarina of time as well Only a few are true gamers Me super metroid Eduardo Zelda as first choice here, but all of these are great choices and will surely get them all! And in addition to Ocarina they should make a Link to the Past and Majora’s Mask available as well! Won’t ask for Wind Waker as we’ll get something better than a VC game later this year!!! Metroid will be here next week as well as part of the 30 cent promotion, right?Zelda as first choice here, but all of these are great choices and will surely get them all! Metroid will be here next week as well as part of the 30 cent promotion, right? Ken Seymour Killer Instinct Gold !!! Every Mario Party… Darren Goldeneye. The only FPS I actually enjoyed from start to end and my intro into the genre on a console. MrPancake606 I Actually want Majoras Mask, but i voted for OoT HSN1 Earthb*SHOT* Nolan ArchLord Earthbound Fred Super Metroid? We already know when it’s coming and it’ll only cost 30 cents. Captain-Olimar WHERE’S EARTHBOUND?!? Squid It’s already confirmed. Desend So is super metroid 😀 Captain-Olimar Yeah, I know, I mean where it is on the poll. ;/ Sorry for the confusion hehe. ;P Desend This is what I was going to say. How is it not listed here? audi lover Id vote for ocarina out of that lot, I do still have ocarina in a wind waker double pak for cube but never got round to playing that one, I guess I could dig out the cube and start playing now Marco Schmitz A link to a past – your List is crap! Javy G Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 was already made available to the 3ds. The VC game I want to see on the Wii U is Majora’s Mask. Fred I want Zelda Minish Cap (they said GBA games are coming) Squid I’d want Sonic adventure 2, that’s Dreamcast though. I would love Oot or Starfox. Update: but for Gameboy advanced, I’d pay as much as they charge for a updated Pokemon Emerald or Leafgreen/Firered. ludist210 Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was on GameCube, so it could happen. Nintedward F-zero GX. That is all. Magnus Eriksson All of them of course. David Tims What Nintendo need to do is cool shit, like releasing ALTTP on the 3ds virtual console a month before the sequal. Or having pokemon yellow installed with the pikachu 3ds. Tie in the VC games to new releases. They released solomon’s key today it just feels irrelevant. What about a capcom week or a kirby week?? Random titles with no correlations to anything is no fun. Michael Collins I am not for sure if anyone said this already, but I am too lazy to read every post. ILLUSION OF GAIA! What a sweet game that was, plus it was the first game I ever bought that came with a t shirt. I know it wouldn’t come with a t-shirt as a VC game, but I was just in the moment there. Highrevz many years i have been trying to remember the name of that game, thank you lol for some reason i was sure it had the word time in the title. (edit) the game was called illusion of time in europe, i must track this beast down ludist210 This is a good answer. Put the whole trilogy on there (Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma). Michael Collins I would agree. You know I never knew there were any other than until recently. I says to Nintendo…..Bring em on! Travis Easton Loved Illusion of Gaia. An overlooked gem. Zizo47 Seeing these poll results makes me feel right at home here ^^ Highrevz Instantly voted for super metroid as it is my all time favorite game. still own the original, still play it(battery died many years ago) and i remembrr the day i was lucky anuff to buy it.only wish my walktrough and box didnt get damaged. o how i regret not taking extra care of my games as a kid. DemonRoach No reason waiting for NES and SNES games, those can be emulated far better than the VC. I am waiting for n64, gamecube, and DS/3DS games to show up on the U. Adrian Final Fantasy II and III (US). Can’t wait! Frank Star Fox 64 is one of the greatest on-rail shooters ever. Why not put it on the VC Carlos Luis Rodríguez Núñez Why not all of them? Ray01x F-Zero GX. . . & Custom Robo. . . .T^T Zuxs13 Super Metroid is one of the greatest games of all time. Ocarina of time is on many other devices so it doesn’t need to be on VC. Chris Apolzon Luigis mansion! Love new moon, super bummed I missed the GameCube version. Bob Wilkerson I still have that game and I wish the Wii U played GC discs natively for that game and several others on GC. Antar Rodríguez mario sunshine or paper mario ttyd Paul I wish they’d release some Pokemon games on the Wii U virtual console as they said GBA games were coming. Bob Wilkerson I voted Super Metroid as I never had that on the Wii VC and I got StarFox64 for free on my 3DS already. I also have the SuperMario All Stars game which gives me all the Super Mario Games and I have Super Mario 64 on my Wii VC. Of course being able to play any of those games on the gamepad would be great. Especially for my wife as she loves Super Mario Brothers 3. Michael Collins GOONIES!!!!! Just for the sweet music alone! Erik Well i know it’s not there but… why not Mario Party 3? If they released MP2 why not the 3rd one? i have the game for my old N64 but i just wanted it back so bad! Brandon I wanted mario party 1… oh wait people thought it was planned than cancelled with this as thier source. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Party_(video_game) zerooooo When GC games come I would love SSBM. Andrew Chambers How is Zelda winning? Does no on own it on the 3DS? mralloverit I think most would rather play the original version of OOT. Myself included. I never bothered finishing the 3DS version, as it didn’t seem like a decent fit for the handheld. Silent Nice Nostalgia goggles. mralloverit I’m guessing you’re referring to my avatar. Yep. Big Kamen Rider fan. I use similar avatars for several other sites I visit frequently. Silent I am…… Andrew Chambers How was it not a decent fit? You’re not one of those people who believes that handhelds should only be play in five minute increments, are you? mralloverit Not at all. Work schedule permitting, I could sit in front of my 3DS for hours on end. as I said earlier though, Ocarina of Time 3D wasn’t really a good fit for the 3DS. It just seemed like a simple remake with 3D tacked on. It looked rather out of place on that game, whereas, with others like Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land were built from the ground up with 3D in mind. A Zelda remake like that on the 3DS didn’t really make much sense to me. Bear in mind that this is just my opinion. I’m not the type to get angry at those who disagree with me. It’s all good either way. Andrew Chambers Ok, just as long as you’re not one of ‘those other guys’. Sorry, it just bugs me when people complain about a game not being mobile when you can suspend the game at any point. I do understand your point though, but try to keep in mind that unlike Mario, Zelda wasn’t actually made by Nintendo. So, considering it wasn’t a first party title, it looked really good. Teves153 None of the above. To be honest I would like some more news about the gameboy games comin to wii u RoadyMike OoT?Seriously? Don’t get me wrong,I love the game, but its on the N64,Wii VC,3DS and on an emulator.I’ve played it to death multiple times on multiple platforms and I’m sure others have as well.Enough is enough I’d like any GameCube game since I missed out on all of them(got a PS2).I’ve always wanted to play Mario Sunshine.I LOVED the SNES.Just about any snes game would be fine for me Destructonator101 Why isn’t sunshine on here? It is a beast game! But I will play OoT to death for eternity, over and over because it is an awesome game. I just cannot get enough of it! Adam Fox Terranigma for SNES…..was never released in the USA and it should be!!! It is one of the best RPG games ever for the system and I would buy it for sure if it was released….I am currently using a ROM to play it 🙂 Kamon Earthbound, babeh!. 😉 Peter Banjo Kazooie and Tooie!!!!!! I’m so jealous of the xbox HD version. But i guess that will never happen Leo Demon’s Crest please! ICHI F-zero gx! Wave Race Blue Storm, 1080 Avalanche, Seaman, Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Billy Hatcher GoldDreams Earthbound…. Nothing else compares. noel Man im dying to play that game. I never played it as a kid, overlooked it but not this time around! Brandon Mario party 1 I thought it was the best n64 mario party & can adjust the control stick mini games to use like the minigame here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUgtsq88IkU Jeancarlos DONKEY KONG 64!! come on people don’t forget our old friend DK.. Mike Sarver Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II – Rogue Leader. Either do an HD remake or just put it on VC. Want to play it again sooo bad. Pikachief Super Mario RPG!! (My favorite game 😀 ) LopsidedPasta … it’s already out Pikachief On Wii U!?!? Thats news to me! Especially when the article posted very close to this one said it wasnt out yet 😉 lol erauqssidlroweht Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (64). LopsidedPasta Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door LopsidedPasta After a LOZOOT for the N64, GC, WiiVC, and 3ds, why would anyone want another version? It’s a great game, but it is being over saturated. Bring on Majora’s Mask!!! noel Thank you!! I guess these youngings barely know about ZELDA, some ppl only want to play LOZ: ALTTP because they heard/saw the sequel. Its a shame. I guess they have to start somewhere though. LopsidedPasta I know right. I’m only 15, but after playing windwaker and Super Mario Sunshine, I started playing the 80’s and 90’s zeldas and marios. The only traditional ones I haven’t played are SMB3, the Oracle games, Adventure of link, and the minish cap. Hopefully some of those games will come out for WiiUVC Desiderio Lazaro Mario Party 3, nuff said David PERFECT FUCKING DARK 64 Alex Damman here’s my wishlist… legend of zelda link to the past (i’ve never played it before and i want to be able to before the 3ds sequel comes out) metroid zero mission (favorite game series of all time, only game in it that i’ve never gotten to play [besides prime pinball, but that doesn’t count]) luigi’s mansion (year of luigi, guys. let’s make it happen for the green bro) pikmin 1 and 2 paper mario the thousand year door legend of zelda majora’s mask legend of zelda 4 swords adventures UPDATED TO HAVE ONLINE SUPPORT Frank I wonder how many people actually know about the 3DS OoT and will actually buy it with the 3DS Blake Good I want Ocarina of Time, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Paper Mario, and Majora’s Mask to come to the Wii U Virtual Console. SuperfastJ sooo… where’s Earthbound? Dominic Coradazzi Some Gameboy Advance games so I can play some pokemon on the big screen or maybe Golden Sun peter wissman what about Mario All stars? They have multiple mario games and it showed off upgraded 16 bit graphics and improved sound. Agent721 Still have that one on my SNES! noel I want to play GOLDEN SUN 1 & 2!!! Not to forget EARTHBOUND!!! Axel Lenz Well that was a pathetically short list… And Super Metroid is already known to come out next week. Personally, the game I want most is Final Fantasy III (VI). I got it on the Wii’s Virtual Console shortly before I decided to buy the Wii U. I then decided to wait until it came out on Wii U to truly play it. I’ve never truly played that game and I really want to… Adrian FF3 was the first game I ever beat in my life (I was 7). It’s an amazing game. I’ve probably played through it 20 times. discostewart Tecmo Bowl and the Mega Man Series That Guy None of those in the poll unfortunately,I own all of those in some way shape or form. Miles Phillips I known same here(I don’t own all of them but do own 1 or 2 of them) but I think I will buy them if they update the graphics to HD and maybe put some Wii U gamepad support of some kind. Also come to think of it at least one or two of the games have not had a HD upgrade to my knowlage, so that will be cool. That Guy Same thing I was thinking but i didn’t feel like typing XD.If super Mario 64 was remade in Hd I’d get it Alex Leb Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Zach Secret of Evermore. Seriously need to get this one on VC already. Zack4812 EarthBound Mario Borbon help get gamecube games on wiiu vc http://youtu.be/3X3IyEfEgY8 Jennero Rossi This is a crime that A Link to the Past is not on this list. Zach That’s because it’s already on the Wii VC. We need to try to get those classic games that aren’t on the VC already. Jeffery02 All 5 of these games are on the Wii VC Zach Hmm yeah you’re right. Well those 5 are just a poor choice of options then. I think it would be a much better idea to have games that aren’t on VC already. John Madsen the one i am waiting for The addams family on super nintendo best version of a addams family game hands down JuleyJules Personally I’d love to see some old 80s arcade games though I don’t know it’ll happen – specifically Crazy Climber which was out on the Wii VC in Japan. It used 2 joysticks so the gamepad would work very well. There are others but I doubt we’ll see them. I guess I’m stuck in the 80s! val berger A selection of 5 games? I’ll skip that poll. F-Zero GX and Viewtiful Joe are the titles I’m waiting for. Alvaro Castañeda Banjo Kazooie would be a good option!! pepisho LINK TO THE PAST .. and the whole Zelda Colection .from NES, SNES, and 64.. hands down i think it would be a smart move from Nintendo..i still play Link to the past often erauqssidlroweht Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the N64! palomino blue Pokemon Snap TrueWiiMaster Kind of an awkward poll, since N64 games aren’t available at all right now. It really should have focused on NES and SNES games. My choice, anyway, would probably go to Earthbound, followed by Donkey Kong Country. Sam I want Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, I just want GameCube games on there; if they release some of these, I’m buying it. Captinn2 I SAID GIMME MY LINK TO THE PAST DIMWITS! Juan Guzman What…No Gamecube options?! I want to see the resurrection of the Gamecube Library. Rogue Squadron, WaveRace, Luigi’s Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Viewtiful Joe….and many more gems. thanos1984 Golden Sun from GBA,Eternal Darkness & Baten Kaitos from GC disqus_Srej2O7Jfd LMAO! Ocarina of time is number one? Didn’t they have a superior re-release of that game on the 3DS? I’d rather have A Link to the Past anyway.
