Nintendo has has a rough couple of years with the Wii U, but Ubisoft’s Alain Corre believes that’s all about to change thanks to a few key games this year. Despite Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot asserting that Watch Dogs will be the last mature game Ubisoft releases for the Wii U, Corre believes that with Super Smash Bros. and upcoming Ubisoft title Just Dance, the Wii U will find its place in the homes of a much larger audience this holiday season.

To be honest, we always want more consoles. Just Dance 2015 is resonating very well. We think it will please a lot of [existing] Wii U owners and push more families to buy extra Wii Us. But we also believe that Super Smash Bros. will be a trigger to increase the momentum of the Wii U at Christmas. As a gamer, I was playing [Super Smash Bros.] over ten years ago, and it has some of the best moments that Nintendo has shared. I think that franchise could be magical [for the Wii U].

“Nintendo has some of the best franchises in the world and it knows how to make great games. It proved that with Mario Kart, and it will prove that again with Super Smash.

It’s nice to see Ubisoft acknowledge that Nintendo is doing a lot to turn the fate of the Wii U around, similarly to what happened with the Nintendo 3DS when it debuted way back in 2011.

  • maverickbleh

Why is Ubisoft making so many comments about the Wii U if they won’t even support it (with other titles than Just Dance, and a months-delayed Watch Dogs)?

    • Petri

They want to be able to sell their crappiest cash grab for at least.
What they do not realize, is that Just Dance mostly sells to families with little girls.
So trying to lick up to gamers is waste of breath.
What is done is done, burned bridges are not fixed with pretty words, I’d hope Ubisoft learned that from PC already…

    • Dark Lord Sauron

ubisoft is just full of it the only reason they havent been maming much money on the wii u is they keep on delaying the wii u versions of their games

      • Michael Legault

Hey now, I think they had 2 that actually released on time! AC4 and splinter cell… Just dance is under shovel ware for me, and it’s the only wii u game I ever really see at used game stores…

        • David John Gifford

Splinter cell is good but they left stuff out

          • wiiucompl

I think, when Nintendo will release Nintendo Land 2 for example – at least half of the owners of the wii u will buy it with peasure… Ubisoft will relase more games for Wii U, because number of WiiU owners increase.

          • SnappyJon

Unfortunately, I don’t think it really has anything to do with the number of owners. Otherwise, you would imagine Ubisoft would be all over the 3DS (it has 44+ million units sold).

I think it’s because of the type of gamer that tends to buy Nintendo products.

Ubisoft likes to make mega-budget blockbuster games that tend to be one play through and your done (Zombie U, AC 3 & 4, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, etc…). I’m not knocking these games, it’s just that I for one only tend to play them through to completion once. then they just sit on the shelf or get traded.

Most Nintendo gamers tend to buy games that can be repeatedly played: Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Bravely Default, Monster Hunter, etc, etc, etc…

The one game that Ubisoft did make that would obviously appeal to Nintendo gamers (Rayman Legends), actually sold relatively well (700K), considering the Wii U install base (about 2.5M) at the time the game was released and the fact Ubisoft delayed it for the Wii U until it was available on every other console as well.

I think that Ubisoft were trying to lazily sell games to Wii U owners expecting them to be just like typical XBox, or PlayStation owners, and they just aren’t the same target audience.

That difference in gamer style is the reason that Nintendo is still able to produce it’s own game console and games, and why it’s not just a PC clone like the XBox One and PS4. It’s also why a lot of 3rd party developers have difficulty producing games for the Wii U and 3DS.

    • companyoflosers

I think ubisoft really does wants to see ninrendo succeed. Their lack of support is purely for business reasons. They hung in there a hell of alot longer than EA did.

    • Dรกibhรญ wotshissurname

Because they still want to sell products on it. Your comment is void because the company are supporting it at all.

    • Prizm

Well they must respect Nintendo, but clearly can’t justify production costs for the Wii U. They keep getting burnt because no matter how good one of their games might be, there’s just not a large enough customer base to recoup AAA production costs. Then there’s the obvious technology problem: almost every game they make for XB1 or PS4 will have to be dumbed down for Wii U. Which means even less people will buy it. Do people really think Watch Dogs will be a straight port?

  • Helbert Pina

Don’t care. Just give us Metroid (Prime would be fantastic), Zelda (at least 2 Wii U developed titles) and quality Mario platformers (Galaxy 3 would be great for starters). If I want to play Ubi (or any other 3rd party games, for that matter), I’ll go to Steam, thank you very much. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Leo Lima

Metroid Prime Trilogy HD Remaster… dream.

  • sharlo galmo

Ubisoft please, when Nintendo drops, Metroid, Zelda, Starfox,Smash,Splatoon,Bayonetta, Yoshi, Fzero, what you gonna do about that? I like those game more then your games, the only game i have from Ubisoft is AC 4 and Rayman, so i don’t gonna miss you, so please stop talking about Nintendo if you don’t support them…

    • Daniel Carvalho

I always thought I would get Rayman Legends and ZombiU when I would finally get my Wii U, but seeing how they treat us I just don’t feel like ever getting their titles anymore, for whatever platform I may have. It’s just sad seeing 3rd Party companies talk like that about a company that has been on the market for longer than they have.

      • sharlo galmo

Indeed, no respect and that’s a shame. I have a xboxone, and i only buy two or three games from tThirdparty..

I think they want Nintendo go away from this market .

      • SnappyJon

Make an exception for Rayman Legends. It’s really good on the Wii U. ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Daniel Carvalho

Alright, I really want that game, so I’ll get it for my future Wii U. But aside form that, I’m not getting anything else from Ubisoft until they change their behaviour!

      • Ultrasyd

You are just missing very good games then – Rayman is far better than Mario imo, get it : )

        • Daniel Carvalho

Oh, I know that. The New Super Mario series seems pretty much uninspired copies of each other. You’d think Nintendo would know better than anyone else how to use the Gamepad, yet all they can do with it is create platforms or reveal invisible blocks. You can’t even use the Gamepad as a separated cam on NSM3DW to get away from the other players in Co-Op mode!

I’ll be getting Rayman Legends because that game was originally intended for Wii U, by the time Ubisoft was still supporting the console – and it would also be disrespectful to the developers that had the shocking news they would delay a game that was ready 4 days prior to the launch date, just like us gamers.

    • BL4CKSH33P

They support Nintendo, they simply don’t make games for a console with such a small fan base. If the wiiu had more units moved UbiSoft would spend the money to make games for it.

  • Mr Ninty

i think everybody who reads this will die within 6 days, because the change that just dance will sell a lot of wiiu’s and make owners buy a second one is as high as a dead girl from a well killing off people.

    • Milky Bacons

      • Michael Legault

You could understand that?! I commend you, sir.

        • Mr Ninty

          is my comment unreadable?

          • Michael Legault

Just wasn’t getting the “dead girl from a well killing off people” part, I mean a corpse in a well would kill people drinking the water, no? Or do you mean like a zombie jumping out of a well? I’m just having trouble understanding the imagery is all.

          • Mr Ninty

ahh so you havent seen the movie ‘The Ring’ its about a 8-12 year old girl whos parents( i think the mother) kill her by dropping her in a deep well and closing the lid. after a couple of days she dies and her body remains there. the girls turns into an evil ghost and kills everbody after 6 days who has seen the videotape linked to her death or something ( been a while since i last seen the movie)
thats why i said everybody who reads this ubisoft guys post will die in 6 days and thats why i compered the change that Justdance sells wiiUs as high as a dead girl from a well killing off people.

          • Michael Legault

Ah, makes more sense. Never saw it though, I never have time for movies, and never been a fan of horror… Gaming and anime are all I have time for :/

          • Milky Bacons

I think he was talking about, “is as high as a dead girl from a well killing off people.”

  • Guest

Ok, im getting a gaming pc for $700-$800 so i need some help.
could you tell me what i should get?
I would like an intel core i5 in there…
the pc should be able to run call of duty amazingly..thanks! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Sleepyhun

Well i5 is good and i think it should be enough for this whole gen. 8gigs of ram is a must, and i dont know the prices in your area, but on a small budget i would aim for an R7265. It’s almost a 270 and a lot better than the 260. Tough probably you shoould ask other people, im not in touch since i built my own. And also if you are really on a tight budget, you might consider getting an amd mantle capable cpu if you go with a radeon card. I heard it can go into crossfire with your cpu and squeeze out some extra flops.
Btw, don’t believe me i dont know your prices. For all i know you might go for a 4690k and a r9270x or better.

    • Nintendo Of North Korea

good question to ask on Wii U daily, oh by the way do you know how to reset an Xbox One? I thought this would be the right play to ask.

    • PS4WiiURocks

Find a PC website..This is for Nintendo news..Just saying!

      • Daniel Gonzalez

That’s true, but there are plenty of Wii U owners and even non-owners that can provide some assistance.

    • lucario378

Put an anus core in it!

  • MonadoKnight

Okay… Cheers ubisoft lol i suppose its nice to see some positive comments being made about the wii u, still it’d be nice if they put assassins creed on the system the reason few buy it for wii u is cause they dont promote them for it.

    • abe

i would happily buy AC rouge if they released it as a download only title, that way they wont “loose” money printing discs

  • Jason

“We think it will please a lot of [existing] Wii U owners and push more families to buy extra Wii Us”

Nope. It will only please Wii owners who think the Wii U is a tablet add-on, and why would someone who owns a consoles buy ANOTHER one if the old one is working just fine? If this was a 3DS games that statement would make more sense”

    • perpetualentropy

    • Connor

that’s what they did with the 3ds, everyone’s dsi and or ds lite worked fine, but they switched to 3ds and made you buy the next one

  • Petri

I believe Ubisoft can stuff just dance where sun don’t shine.

  • companyoflosers

  • Indeed. Excellent statements, Ubisoft. Truly, Just Dance is the greatest series of video games ever collected and put to a title. Hail Ubisoft.

  • mojack411

Isn’t this sort of stating the obvious? Seems more like brown nosing than anything to me.

  • starwars360

You might making point there but FUCK YOU UBISOFT!!! You knew why many people want telling you “Middle Finger and FUCK YOU”? Because you are very very CRUEL!!!

Yeah, we got it the first few times. Chillax buddy.

  • Guest

This is what Ubisoft doing moment.

    • perpetualentropy

thank you.. i tell ya i just got off work i was mad all day but it wasnt from my boss or the workers it was me thinking of the ceo of ubisoft with that face that smile laughing at me as he tells me i wasnt just dance instead of ac rouge or at least zombiu 2 im pissed dude im infuckingfuriated who do they think they are!

  • starwars360

    This is what Ubisoft IS!!!

  • John Kaasor

Well, I don’t care about Ubisoft bringing games on Wii U. If they don’t want to support Wii U, no damage done. Nintendo alone is strong enough to make their products shine plus other loyal companies that brings great games. If I want AC or something else, I would get it on PC. I know not everyone got strong PC but I think Wii U buyers buy the console for Nintendo and other companies products. If they wanted these kind of games like AC, they would buy PS4 or XBONE.
About their statement that Wii U owners don’t buy their products it’s not true. I bought both AC games and wanted Watch Dogs, but after their escapade I changed my mind completely. Now I won’t buy even AC: Unity but not because of they are not supporting Wii U, but because their games are so…same! AC is combination of Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia and other things. Gameplay maybe changes through every game a little bit, but the feeling is still the same.
But really, I’m not even suprised Wii U gamers don’t buy some of the products. Splinter Cell was great! I loved it but taking away offline multiplayer was awful mistake. In Arkham Origin they took away online multiplayer. Another thing why I did not buy it on Wii U even thou I wanted. CoD: BOII, I think it was cool game but DLC coming after 2 years? Are you kidding me? Well, I was reconciled to, that EA is shiftty company but Ubisoft and the rest? Wii U gamers doesn’t need you! We’ve got new and better games coming: Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2 which contains Bayonetta 1, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda Wii U and many more! Even Sega is trying with Sonic series.

I guess that’s end to my opinion. I hope you people will agree with me and if not, please tell me what ya think! John out…

  • simkenno

As annoyed as I get about Ubisoft and they way they have acted lately, I respect them for this. At least they acknowledge that the wiiU will increase in sales and they know that.

A classy move for an otherwise classless company when it regards the wiiU.

  • PS4WiiURocks

Is that to make up for the crap you have pulled Ubi? Sorry it’s to late..Could care less if your company made the best game in the world..I will never buy another game from you.
You reap what you sow and that bridge has already been burned down

    • perpetualentropy

i am so angry like they are patronizing me smiling and telling me i want just dance im done

      • PS4WiiURocks

Agreed! They are a failed company now

  • Ian Settlemyer

Maybe Super Smash Bros. 4 will get a 100% rating.

  • HydePark1980

    Too Ubisoft, too soon.

  • Robert Wagner

Well I’m disappointed. I like your games Ubisoft, it’s just a shame you screwed us on your ports. Why not have a deal with Nintendo like Nintendo did with sega to recuperate costs if they don’t do well? Like, they port X amount of titles and they get the porting and coding cost taken care of?

    • D.M.T #LesnarConqueredCena

I like your idea but I think a better deal is to have them make 3 games exclusively for the Wii U and Nintendo will fund the development. The 3 games that I think should be part of the deal are: Red Steel 3, Ghost Recon Phantoms and ZombiU 2

      • Robert Wagner

Good idea! That could really help Ubisoft’s and Nintendo’s situation nicely. It could also show other developers the benefits of making deals like this.

      • perpetualentropy

        red steel!!!!!

      • Rinslowe

        Now you’re talkin…

      • Michael Legault

Nintendo should do the following, the next company that shoots their mouth off gets bought out by Nintendo. Put them all to work in the shy-guy mines ๐Ÿ˜›

  • gamingpalooza

Ubisoft… if your not going to give us your M rated titles, which we did play, then shut the fuck up and go back to sucking Microsofts balls some more. After all, Wii U out sells Xbox One and somehow you give that console everything.

    • perpetualentropy

excuse after excuse firsf its the wiiu doesnt sell well or the game is just going to last gen consoles now its we dont want their games wow really your gonna tell me what i want wiiu is outsells both in japan n xb1 everywhere else and besides what is everyone gonna say when they drop their amiibo skylanders type game that over 75 million people are interested in

  • Shootdatrupee!…

Oh go away Ubisoft..,you’ve already burned all the bridges…

  • Semi_Auto

I’m not worried about Ubisoft bringing there games to the Wii U. It got me a PS4 that’s sitting and collecting plenty of dust to play those game on. I can be honest that thing ain’t got nothin I wanna play right now lol. My Wii U has and will have my attention for the forseeable future. I just don’t know why this dude keeps talking………..

    • perpetualentropy

so you have both and you like the wii u thats pretty good im glad to hear it does the ps4 stream videos via the web browser?

      • perpetualentropy

        im curious

  • HydePark1980

I’ll be honest, I haven’t purchased a Ubisoft game since Beyond Good & Evil.

  • Diaz

Ok, but what’s Watch_dog’s release date?

  • Daniel Gonzalez

It will certainly increase sales. Will it maintain momentum? Time will tell.

    • Rinslowe

I think the long appeal of Nintendo titles should be taken somewhat seriously when talking about momentum. Almost all of their first party IP is still selling copies today. Mario Kart 8 was that first game on Wii U that spoke to the majority and it shows in both the attach rate and month on month sales. Smash should do the same or better to hardware for a limited time, but the software sales I believe will continue on for quite a while. More important is how Nintendo makes the most of each main reveal by also promoting their other sellers, like a fresh Mario Kart 8 bundle available for the holiday season next to Smash etc. Looking at their software attach rate, they don’t have too much to worry about when it comes to one title overshadowing the other. Due to having such effective marketing with Kart, its really not hard to imagine what games new comers to Wii U are going to opt for with their Smash or whatever bundles this holiday. SM3DW/ Pikmin3 and WWHD possibly even DKCTF may see a small increase during that time as well. Momentum needs a catalyst and for Ninty its possible that was Kart, regarding first party IP. Then really what defines momentum is in the accumulation of titles that people want to play, each one feeding on the other. One title is never going to help a system survive…

      • Daniel Gonzalez

Well, also depends on which titles of course. Mario Kart 8 as good example, is certainly one to take seriously. I do agree that one title isn’t going to help any console survive, which makes me wonder if Nintendo will take advantage of MK8’s success and feed off of it. Right now, they a good enough lineup in the fall and the end of 2014, with a few third party exclusives in the mix. If executed right, it should keep up the momentum. If all else fails, they still have Smash Bros during the winter that will give them a major sales boost one way or another. Either way, I am interested to see how this will all play out by 2015.

        • Rinslowe

2015 is looking pretty good so far. But, I do think marketing for everything as well as Zelda is important. Xenoblade has a dedicated following, but I wouldn’t consider it to have broad appeal. A game that could do better than average if promoted properly. As well as Splatoon. Starfox should turn a few heads, Nintendo’s HD development has been quite impressive since Pikmin 3, given the hardware…

ubisoft will make more fans angry by not releasing more ”mature games” then it will make fans happy with just dance wii u (come on really just dance) i bought assassins creed 3 and zombiu but why would they expect anyone else too…ac3 and 4 are quick 360 ports and most people already have this game they should of made the port better and included the first two and zomiu was rushed to this date if you look in the eshop one of the trailers shows a different game mele options like a pick ax better multiplayer and motion control a satellite map with better sonar maybe if we got that game and just dance i did buy that for the wii and it was horrible you cah beat the game by sitting on the couch and slowly jerking the controller it sucks im so mad at ubisoft telling us we dont want their good games telling us we want the shitty ones!!!

    • Michael Legault

It was originally not even a fucking zombie game, it was originally killer freaks from outer space. Then some asshole decided “hey zombie are popular, let’s scrap what we got and make this shit” now I’ve heard zombiu is good, and hard, but i would’ve actually bought killer freaks, I got sick of zombies not long after RE:4

      • perpetualentropy

zombiu is good one bite your dead but wow i didnt know all that killer freaks from outer space sounds very interesting the name zombiu is pretty lame

        • Michael Legault

WTF even makes Ubisoft think we don’t care about ‘mature’ games?!?!

  • Christian Schoff

    • Brandon

There’s a reason why its not coming to last gen, so what is the luck of the wii u.

  • perpetualentropy

wow people are deleting their ubisoft preorder of watchdogs it might not sell well thell say its because we dont want it no it will be because o obviously because YOU PISSED uS ALL OFF!!!

  • Brandon

WOW, I sense alot of rage within nintendo gamers. I understand you got bad ports for some of the games, but can you really blame a publisher for leaving if even the good ports sell like crap. Most nintendo gamers probably dont care that these third parties are leaving, but there is wii u only owners that do. Third parties are huge, whether you like it or not, and alot of them do make great games.

    • Daniel Gonzalez

It’s more so the bitterness that Ubisoft left them feeling. While there was gimped ports, there were also quality ones too. There is a good percentage of those who care about third parties, but I believe that the majority of Wii U owners, tend to believe that third parties are evil, and I don’t think that stereotype is going away anytime soon. Not this gen, anyway. I think third parties when dealing with the Wii U, exclusive games that appeal to Nintendo fans is the way to go. Maybe in time, the bad rep will fade.

      • Brandon

True, I just feel bad for the gamers who only have a wii u and dont want or cant afford another console, but like third parties.

        • CommanderBlue

To further elaborate its just that there have been so many bad ports that the good ones sort of get over shadowed or avoided because of those other bad ports. So until the reputation of the quality of third party ports on the wii u gets better I don’t think third party games have a chance of selling well.

  • matt

Ubisoft Nintendo do not need ur pathetic games please stop talking no1 is listening were to busy looking forward to real hardcore games like smash4 that have hardcore graphics and gameplay for real competitiveness,Ubi go and bum Sony/Microsoft us Nintendo gamers are fine with quality over quantity….THANKYOU….

  • nigeriangamer

i dont think they realize that we dont care what they say anymore, they are sellout, they have no passion in making video games, they constantly lie to their costumers and they always expect gratitude for the games they release like they just showed us God. AC3 and AC4 sold well if you ratio it to the install base at the time, zombiU should very very well and i bet the budget was very low but their greed got the better of them because of self gratification. they have lost alot customers with their recent statement their president made and the disappointing expectation with watch_dogs

  • Jason Power

Cost of development has gone through the roof with latest consoles and they won’t take a risk with Nintendo because of overall sales of the console. Rubbish, your a big fish in a little pond. Ubisoft should be making a fortune if only they give people what they want.

But, when they do release a game “Rarely” Nintendo usually gets the worst ports with features missing or no DLC. Nintendo fans are not stupid, sure we might be the worst fanboys at times, but we want the truth and the best for our console. The console is not powerful enough is rubbish, Nintendo proved this with their official titles.

Now Ubisoft, why would any Nintendo fan support you when you make them feel like second best or even third best.

  • Why do you guys always use the prototype Wii U gamepad when making articles? It looks stupid.

  • LordiMcKill

Well at least they’re making some effort to rectify the situation and not just flat out ignore the Wii U like EA.

  • matt

Ubisoft are so ignorant the WiiU has outsold xbox1 worldwide for the last 2 months and with Smash4/Bayonetta2 not even out yet means WiiU will be selling ps4 numbers come november and will continue to outsell xbox one yet Ubi still support xbox one is puzzling…..oh well i think Nintendo should just keep grabbing 3rd party exclusives like Project zero 5,Devils third and Bayonetta2 ect and the WiiU will have the most quality games so in the end Nintendo win.

    • Brandon

      “Devils third” “quality games”

Yep, that sure looks like a quality game. Xbox one gets more support from ubisoft, because the xbox one version sells way more copies. Xbox is getting big titles this fall also, so whos says it wont be outselling wii u(at least in america).

“WiiU will have the most quality games so in the end Nintendo win.”

Thats unsure of, especially with all the great games first and third party coming to xbox and ps4. Yes wii u has great games coming also but not as much, due to weak third party support.

      • ben

Brandon you have not played Devils third, it is made by a renowned game designer so you should wait for the release before you call the game crap. It does not look like a game I would buy but it may change my mind once i learn more about the game. It seems like an Action/fighter/fps at high speed. I dont know many games that have all that in one package, could you name me one other game that is like Devils Third?

And I dont want to sound like a hater but a lot of the First and third party games coming to Xbox one and Ps4 are in development hell.
Devs made games the wrong way around. They tried to make games based on what they perceived could be run on Next gen only to find out that even High end pcs are struggling with what they are trying to make.
Batman Arkham Knight is screwed and is being rebuilt because it crashed high end pcs.. nevermind it running on a Ps4.

The Witcher is struggling to get 60 fps on Pc.
Game delays and cancelled project are what seem to be on the horizon.
Nintendo build their games in a very different way. They build a skeleton that plays then add more and more until the frame rate gets issues. Which is why Nintendo do not release games with large problems.

Im not trying to sound like Devils Third is a terrible game, I was mostly making a joke as I have seen many people talk bad about it. As for the “development hell” situation, it doesnt seem like devs are having a problem, other then hitting 1080p/60fps.

          • ben

They are worried about hitting a constant 30fps, sounds like a big problem to me/

          • Brandon

As long as their able to do it, which it seems they are at this point. Soon devs will become more familar With the ps4 and xbox, and game development will be easier and faster.

Wii U will never outsell Xbox one or PS4. Yes I know Wii U is leading over X1 but it’s been in the market longer and the X1 is not far behind. Give it a year or two then Xbox and PS4 will have a significant lead over the Wii u.

      • that guy

he was using the last couple of monthly sales numbers and statistics on public interest. both of those for Wii U passed the XBox one numbers and Games con helped solidify the Wii U’s lead over the X one.

      • matt

The WiiU is 2.4 million in front now and outselling it Worldwide get with it man….

        • TomDobo

Yeah I know and that took almost two years. Xbox has caught up in under a year. PS4 has destroyed it after like 6-7 months. As I said in my comment Wii U is leading over Xbox one. But in the next couple of years PS4 and X1 will be well ahead. I like the Wii U and I wish it a successful generation but with the lack of 3rd party support it isn’t going to dominate.

  • jhell

ubisoft just shut up an release games at the same time for wii u to

  • LuLz

Really? I thought it was going to decrease sales momentum

  • Kwondhe

Now they’re Ubifart. And the last game I would buy to play on my Wii U it’s Just Dance.

  • David Trail

    Ha ha no wayyy crapsoft!

  • masterjedi

Just Dance probably will sell well for them because Just Dance definitely has a market. My daughter loves the Just Dance games. And it’s safe to say Smash is definitely going to move consoles as well. But here’s the thing, Ubi has already released 2 Just Dance games for WiiU and they’ve sold less than 400K combined. If this newest iteration of Just Dance sells similar numbers, will Ubi consider it a success? If so, you have to assume that the Just Dance games cost SIGNIFICANTLY less to produce than the AC ports right? Well I don’t believe that for one second. What I believe is, the amount of TIME required to make a Just Dance game is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the amount of time to make a rated M game. So you can throw a Just Dance game together and get a little profit quickly so your quarterly financial reports can look a little better.

Just dance games are great for little girls. Those games must not make that much money, I mean they have to pay a large amount in royalties for the songs, right?

  • $37coffee?Awesome!!!!

To Ubisoft Dildo suckers, where da fuck is Ghost Recon online!!!??? These fags promoted it like in e3 a couples of years ago, with all the gamepad functions, u guys can even see the awesome trailer for Wii U and then, they released it on PC(who nobody gives a fuck), to then leave the Wii U version on hold?, when it was supposed to be a launch title? Ubisoft go please and chop Sony and Microsoft dicks and shove it up both in ur ass. Whe dont need ur stupid repetitive AC games or your Far Cry games lacking multiplayer quality. We already have the innovative Devils Third with an awesome multiplayer way better than Cod “Advanced Childcare”, Splatoon which imo is the most fun multiplayer game I’ve seen in a while, Zelda, xenoblade, bayonneta, Metroid…..I mean really? U are the posers Ubisuck!!

    • Brandon

Really, you trash on Ubisoft and their games then go on to say Devils Third is innovative. Assassins creed and farcry blow that game out the water.

      • ben

Urm… you cant really say that, Devils Third has not been released so.. you have no idea if the game is good or bad. Personally I find the Asscreed games to be monotony on a disk.

        • Brandon

We’ve seen gameplay, but I get what you mean. Comparing gameplay AC unity and FarCry 4 looks better imo at least.

        • $37coffee?Awesome!!!!

And you know what’s even better ben? Devils Thirds is being delayed due to an update in the game engine graphics, so it’s gunna have a resolution quality similar to Crysis or Battlefield. So I guess we’ll have to wait to see if it’s true. I’m a PC player as well but, Devils Third multi looks really fun and in imho, it’s gunna be way better than having Far Crys multiplayer or AC when they really lack of multiplayer playability and longevity, we’ll see……

    • TomDobo

To be honest with you splatoon looks and will be shit. As much as you hate call of duty you wouldn’t be complaining if it was coming out on Wii U.

  • Colbster the Man

Nintendo just buy capcom and obliterate the competition.

  • tom

Once again we get a lecture from UBI.

    • Wilks

You’re such an idiot, it’s not a lecture in anyway – they’re actually wanting the Wii U to sell more consoles!

  • Wilks

Ubisoft says they want more Wii Us to be sold, so how does everyone on this site react? With hate, you can’t please Wii U owners ever.

  • Just give us that freakin Assassin’s Creed NFC figure you promised years ago and shut your mouth, Ubisoft.

  • thedeciderU

    ashley – *has had*

  • Kiefer Wickham

Shut the fuck up about this just dance shit, I want splintercell I want rayman I want assassins creed

  • Solidus

Ubisoft needs to shut up. Make orignal games for the system instead of ports they are the problem that will create the downfall of the industry. Its all about originality. Not that Nintendo is original with their franchises but they are trying to be innovative and give the industry a chance to breathe but nobody bites….

  • Flambridge

Just Dance won’t move any Wii U’s Ubi. Stop blowing your own horn.
