local_offer    Nintendo  wii u  wii u games
  • Sweet, must go to best buy…now lol

  • Laud

Already bought Zombi U a few days back with this sale.

    • I like the way the controller was implemented in the game… Though I must say the graphics left a bit more to be desired.

      • Elem187

You do realize they are creating an intentional blur through the eyes of the survivor right?
The peripheral vision is intentional. The blur is intentional. It really sets the mood of somberness and adds to the anxiety.

  • DemonRoach

Not great games…but better at this price level.

  • TrueWiiMaster

It’s worth saying that anyone with a receipt from Best Buy can go in and get a partial refund if they bought one of these games at a higher price within the last 30 days (I think).

  • RyuNoHadouken

all the games listed under AC3 should be $19.99 or less

  • This really sucks! Whats going on HERE!!! I’m so not happy with the crap I’ve been reading about the WiiU. I own a deluxe edition, I mean personally I think It’s nice and what not, but Nintendo is $%*ing it up already… The innovation with the controller (GREAT!) I love the innovation but looking under the hood and seeing whats there is depressing! 🙁 I thought this system would totally surpass current gen systems instead of barely. Now what happens? History repeats it’s self. M$ and Sony come out with thier kick @ss systems and leaves WiiU exactly where the Wii was when Xbox360 and PS3 came out. Honestly I don’t see a bright future with the big N. This sucks!

    • I’m assuming you’re just talking about the processor. Yes, it’s quite slow, but I doesn’t need to be fast. The current gen will focus more on the GPU for running graphics, which makes sense. The GPU runs much more efficiently, meaning we don’t need 6 ghz processors for next gen. You have PC’s for that…

      • Elem187

I think he’s trolling… The GPU in the Wii U makes it the fastest console to date… The only problem is nothing is pushing it… When a game for the 360 or ps3 is ported to the wii u, they aren’t going to kick up the detail and graphics just because the machine can handle more, they are going to just get the game to run so they can push it out the door and make money with as little investment as possible…. thats why launch ps3 games look like utter crap and were below the level of the xbox 360.

My guess is Pikmin 3 will be the first game to really push the system… the screenshots already look on par with current PC games…. Although the type of game Pikmin is, is not my cup of tea, but the visuals is absolutely stunning for a console game, and most PC games.

And if Pikmin is the first game to push it, then the heavy hitters will make the system epic (Zelda/3D Mario/Metroid)

      Please leave troll

      • Dude, no one here is trolling. If what I said apparently disturbed you then maybe it’s you who should leave if you can’t handle criticism. I’m simply giving my opinion as this thread is public. If the only 2 cents you can give this thread is “Please leave troll” then that just shows your mental capacity to converse. So find another of being a douche cause you sound stupid.

the fact that you think Microsoft and Sony did better than Nintendo during 7th gen makes your comment obsolite

      • As for you, I was referring to what was under the hood, not sales. If you can tell me with a straight face that the Wii was better than the PS3 and XBOX360 then you my friend are dumb ass of the year and need to get that fat head of yours examined.

        • Elem187

Why are you so hung up on graphics? I have a PC gaming rig that leaves both microsoft and sony consoles in the dust, and it will probably leave whatever they release at the end of this year or early next year in the dust as well…. But I can’t get Mario and Zelda on a PC yet.

      • Elem187

Agreed… The Wii ended up in more homes than even the first NES system did back in the 80’s… Neither the 360 or PS3 even came close to the NES system.

    • MujuraNoKamen

Neither MS or Sony can afford to make a kick-ass system, Both will probably be more powerful than Wii U but not by much. Microsoft have been chasing the casual market recently so expect that to continue (they won’t need a powerful console to do that and will instead spend all their time/effort on Kinect 2) Sony are more likely to make a powerful console but since their financial state is poor, that makes a powerhouse of a console unlikely, nor will they want to price themselves out of the market like when PS3 released and what is happening to Vita.
fear not, as you said, the Wii U has loads of cool features which is what counts. They also have an impressive list of games coming soon and they always punch well above their weight in terms of graphics – look at Wii U, probably most underpowered console for it’s generation ever, but we still got great looking games like Mario Galaxy and Skyward Sword. Nintendo’s ingenious art direction, teamed with 1080p, 60FPS HD graphics and the fact that it won’t be left miles behind the competition this time means that Nintendo will have the edge.

      • MujuraNoKamen

         * Look at Wii, probably the most underpowered…

      • Thank you MujuraNoKamen for that well educated answer. Some people just don’t have the mental capacity to be intellectuals instead are quick to retaliate cause they’re “fanboys” where as I am universal. I enjoy playing all my systems Xbox, Sony and Nintendo alike. That right there which you just displayed give me a beacon of hope that Nintendo is gonna step up their game with with new system. Peace dude.

Look no matter what Sony puts into a tiny box the jump will be no where near as steep as the jump from PS1 to PS2 was or the jump from PS2 to PS3 was.

PS1 to PS2 had the ability of increasing resolutions from the crappy 320 tube televisions to the 480p flat screens.

The PS2 to PS3 jump was moving up to 720p/1080p.

The differences in jump were huge.. Higher resolutions make it look better, crisper…. But now we are locked in for a 20 year span of 1080p. it will be quite awhile before we see higher resolutions.

I expect the next playstation will do more shaders, bump mapping, higher anti-aliasing and such, but for the most part it may only do what a current gen PC can do… which the Wii U is almost at that level….. The difference between what Sony will be able pull off and what the Wii U will do when its finally pushed is going to be so minute as most people will not really notice much difference… like how most people cannot see the difference between the ps3 and xbox360 even though sony has a slight edge in horsepower.

My guess, whatever Sony puts out there will be roughly twice the price of the Wii U, and by the time it is released, Nintendo will probably look for a price drop as to lure any potential customers away from Sony.

The ps3 was $600 on launch day, and it sold like crap… so bad that they had an emergency price drop not even 2 months into the launch.

The ps4 will be at least $600. But probably most likely $700 range. Which you can build a PC gaming system far faster than anything Sony can put into a box for around $500….. This is the last generation of ALL consoles. So get the one you will enjoy the most.

me personally, I have a PC to run my hardcore games, so I choose Nintendo because their 1st party franchises are better than any other system. Playing through NSMB-U made me feel like a kid again. Thoroughly impressed.

          • Sam

the new tvs 4k something? sony is making them. 99% chance the p4 uses that. so yes. another huge leap.

          • MujuraNoKamen

If they utilised it then it could be quite a leap but with these leaps comes a choice for the manufacturers; Either price yourself out of the market and/or take massive losses on the hardware (This is what happened to PS3 in 2006, even when it retailed for $600, Sony took a serious loss on each unit sold) Like I said, if they use it then there’ll be a bigger leap but the in all likelihood they can’t afford to do it.

          • I like your response. Thank you for clarifying that.

        • MujuraNoKamen

Thank you 🙂 I just hope I’m not wrong.

    • tronic307

I expect the sheer processing power of Sony and Microsoft’s new systems to leave Wii U in the dust, but so what? Despite owning other systems, I lived on my Wii, loved my GameCube, and if my Wii U is just an HD Wii or even GameCube Mk. III, so much the better. It’s just the continuation of a grand tradition. I might buy the next gen consoles, but I doubt I’ll love them.
PROTIP: It’s all about the games.

    •  What does your comment have to do with a very consistent price drop in 3rd party games?

  • Johny

Already got ZombiU and AC3.. so nothing for me

  • Tim van Broekhoven

I live in the netherlands, so I can’t pick those games up for that price… >:(

  • Ford Crews

I wish they had released all their games at $49.99 instead of $59.99 and had heavy discounts so early on.   By setting the initially 2 high, and dumping them now, they really, really hurt their future chances.

  • Seth S. Scott

Zombiu I already own otherwise I would totally pick it up at this price. Its worth the $60 price tag though. Such an awesome game.

  • Justin Lee

Only game i bought is mario and the reason i got wii u. It’s also my first console that I bought so early in its shelf life. I’m waiting for the handful titles like mario 2d, metroid, and zelda. The games out now dont interest me at all.Well, I hope others dont feel the same way I do or else Nintendo will be in trouble.

  • Nintendofreak

i wisht d wiiu was at dat price

  • iamerror777

No Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U edition ):

  • MujuraNoKamen

     * Look at Wii, probably the most underpowered…
