Robotoki launched their Kickstarter campaign for their new game just last week and while the Wii U wasn’t a focus, that could change if the campaign gets enough funding. We are already licensed Nintendo developers and have Wii U dev kits that we’ll be using to get it up and running on Wii U. If we get funded we will try to bring it to as many platforms as possible with the funds we get and will use the profits from the game to bring it to consoles we couldn’t afford prior. Long story short, yes, we hope to bring it to the Wii U as quickly as possible. Robotoki is a studio created by former Infinity Ward developer Robert Bowling. The campaign is seeking $400,000 in funding in order to make the game and currently has around $20,000 raised with 26 days to go. Check out the video above to see what the game is about and let us know if it’s something you’d like to see available in the Wii U eShop eventually. Donaalld Nice to see a Call of Duty designer leave IW to design something imaginative and humorous for once. bizzy gie Really. Someone who gets that games aren’t about graphics, blood, and gore but actually about creativity, fun, and experience. dylanbob121 I’m glad he stopped working on call of duty to.This looks like a really good and fun game!It could make a lot of money if successful! Metal_Man_v2 I agree with what you’re saying, but you could easily argue that people play CoD becuase it is fun experience with friends, not because it has cutting edge graphics (which it doesn’t have). Gamefreak361 I think the engine CoD games run on hasn’t really been updated that much from the looks of it. Squid I’m glad that I’m not the only one who doesn’t like CoD. MadCrain Donaalld, stop commenting on Wii U Daily, you’re getting all the thumbs recently. It’s pissing the internet mob lords off, you’re bringing too much attention to yourself, please, heed my warning. Gamefreak361 Probably cause he’s being realistic and keeping his opinions within reason. Not his fault that he does. Unless you’re just playing around, sounds like someones jelly. MadCrain It was a joke -_- I’m amazed people can’t comprehend sarcasm. Gamefreak361 The fact that Donaalld was at one time a troll, makes it hard to tell whether you’re joking or not. Nice that you cleared that up, hence the last sentence in my comment was for, “unless you were joking.” Are you trying to question people’s intelligence now? I can comprehend sarcasm just fine, perhaps you should make it clear next time. Good day. MadCrain Yes, I do question people’s intelligence, since it baffles me that I have to explain what is obviously sarcasm. Gamefreak361 You questioned others before explaining it was sarcasm. Therefore your reason makes no sense at all. Like I said, if it was sarcasm, then say so. Not everyone especially since many don’t most likely know you will know when you are or aren’t sarcastic. Makes sense, right? I thought so. MadCrain I questioned others? you mean I questioned there stupidity? Because that is the only question I have asked, since I made a stupid joke, and you butted in to point out what was obvious, I can’t see how there are Internet Mob Lords, or somebody who actually uses the word “heed” in a sentence, and people should know someone is sarcastic, when their comment looks like a fucking joke, I invite you to reread it and point out what could be mistaken for a legit warning. Gamefreak361 Perhaps you are a Mob Lord? Apparently it bothers you that people question your comment. If you don’t like that I comment on you, which is my right to do as I’m not calling you names, harassing you nor swearing, then don’t comment back. Sounds pretty simple. MadCrain It doesn’t bother me, as I said, It baffles me, I am legitimately astonished, And maybe I am a Mob Lord, but a Internet Mob Lord? Reaaaaally? And you could be harassing/swearing/calling names, and it still wouldn’t depict the lack of logic, if you feel that way, do us both a favor and stop replying. Gamefreak361 I think I already got the due us both a favor covered. I don’t see how that makes any sense of what you said anyways. Stop replying? You first? MadCrain Let me explain first, You’re bullshit, your sentences, reasons, and questions are literally bullshit, you’re pointing at mirrors for no reason, but whatever, and I’m hard headed, so you first :3 Gamefreak361 You’re apparently talking out your ass with that post. Being hard headed shows you’re just as full of it if you’re gonna delcare that I’m full of it. I’m stubborn to the core, so that sucks. Nothing personal, it’s just how I roll. 🙂 Good day sir. Or night. MadCrain Well sir, you’re complete bullshit, and I pull my sentences out of my ass… by the way, I didn’t pull it out of my ass, you actually are judging smoked mirrors, but I can live with that, and if neither of us stop replying, we shall be here for eternity :3 Gamefreak361 That’s where i got you, I don’t smoke. Let alone near mirrors. 🙂 Enternity? Okay, I can live with that. Unfortunately, some of us need to sleep. Reply later to keep this chain of stubborn and hard headedness up. MadCrain Hahahahahahhaha, Yeah, I need to sleep too, but, sleep is merely seconds next to eternity :3 Gamefreak361 Bread sticks. That is all. MadCrain Dipping, that is all 😀 Gamefreak361 In sauce, that is all. MadCrain What’s in sauce? Gamefreak361 Whatever you’re dipping? Gamefreak361 Anything is better than the copy/paste of a game like Call of Duty imo. dylanbob121 true, true Christian Pena WOW! SoulSilverZero I wonder how Bronies would react to this game… Fred I’d buy it for Wii U if it comes. I won’t buy it on PC I don’t like games on my PC. I wish they had an additional kickstarter goal where if reached they’ll do Wii U for sure. If they had that I’d be more likely to donate as it is I don’t know if Wii U will be their first conosle to get it or their last. dylanbob121 I understand that this site is all stuff about wii u,but why won’t you buy it if it doesn’t come to wii u?Its not like there will be any significant difference! It looks like a fun game so I’m going to get it.Basicly what your saying is if its not on wii u,its not good.I’m sick of people saying this.Look at Halo, thats not on wii u.But its still freaken awesome!!Also half life.See what i’m getting at? Metal_Man_v2 Yes, there are a lot of people who dismiss things just because they aren’t for Nintendo, or any console really. But I believe that Leo stated he just doesn’t like games for the PC, and I share that opinion. PC is great for playing games, but I prefer the comfort of lounging on my bed playing a game to sitting in a chair playing a PC game. It just comes down to preference. Hopefully this will come to Wii U. Gamefreak361 Yeah, I’m with you there. I mean PC games are fun, but when you come home after a hard day at work, you wanna lay back and chill, and that’s where consoles come to play. PC’s you can’t really do that. Sneferie YES! Thought this looked amazing, and was tempted to ask the developers if the eShop was a possibility. What bothers me with this and other kickstarter projects is I only want to back this if it is coming to the Wii U. I’m not interested in supporting it if it will only be on PC. dylanbob121 It looks different and new…I LOVE IT!! Metal_Man_v2 Lovely art style, great concept, looks fun, collectables AND alternate costume base on Nintendo characters? I’m sold. iPedro1000 Low cost but fun and innovative indie games are the “motion gaming” of this generation. The Wiimote and motion gaming in general (ie. balance board) were a trojan horse for the Wii, making an underpowered console the winner of the last generation. If Nintendo plays its cards right, it could be the thing that sells Wii U consoles in droves. Imagine an unexpected “Angry birds” type craze being an exclusive on Wii U… iPedro1000 To expand on this, I don’t think it will be your typical third party big gaming studios that are going to use the Game Pad and asynchronous gameplay to its full potential. They’re too concerned with making money, maximizing potential sales by designing their games for multiple consoles without much more than add on functions for the Wii U. It’s some indie developer with a Wii U sitting in his bedroom who’s going to have a brilliant idea for the second screen that not even Nintendo anticipated. Nintendo: support your indie devs. They’re going to be the golden goose that saves the big N from the noose. Madmagican I got a few looks at this a few days ago; I really like the concept behind this game and the art style is very comforting/unique. It gives me a sense of refreshment and happiness Srpg2ishere Looks awesome!!! If this comes to Wii U then day 1 purchase! Robert anyone else notice the kirby, mario, and zelda posters? so this is a sign its for sure coming to wii u. or 3ds. ? dylanbob121 If they use mario, zelda, ect. hats they better put it on the wii u!!! MadCrain Looks great, can’t wait (rhymed because it’s true) Chris Wells do want!!! Johny OMG I LOVE THIS !! … the amazing art style and different gameplay… its exactly what i want in a game… awesome gameplay with awesome art style/graphics and its exactly what this game delivers… + AWESOME gaming references xD like jazz jackrabbit (huge fan) and minecraft :DDDD definately buying it if it comes to wii u .. i HOPE it does Nathaniel Lopez It’s creative and the story, or at least the jist of it, is interesting enough but I would like to hear more about the game and see a couple more game-play videos before I make a decision to buy the game, if it’s ever released to Wii U e-shop; I usually just ignore indie games because they’re all to much alike, for example, a good amount of them are platform games, a genre I’m not that crazy about. I’m not speaking ill of the game and I hope it does well, I’m just saying what I think and hopefully in the upcoming days we will hear more about this, because it has gotten my attention. Sneferie This game hasn’t made much progress since the $20k milestone. I donated $5. Hope they reach their goal.
