One of the best features of the Switch Parental Controls app, available on iOS and Android devices, is the ability to track your playtime. Since the Switch doesn’t have a native playtime counter (unless you count the rough number your profile gives you), the app’s ability to give you exact playtimes for each day is convenient.

An update pushed earlier this week makes playtime tracking far easier. Before the update, the app only allowed you to see your playtime for the entire day; It didn’t tell you how many hours or minutes you played each game. This isn’t exactly an issue if you’ve only played one game on any given day, but if you’re cycling between two or more, it can be frustrating. With the new update, you can click on each day and get a breakdown of your time spent for each game you’ve played for that day.

Have you downloaded the Parental Controls app, yet? If so, what do you think about the update? Let us know in the comments below!
