The Nintendo Switch is already a pretty competent portable device, but what if you want to play it on different TVs without disconnecting your dock or buying another one? Well, that’s a question Reddit user “jolimon” asked and solved themselves by making their own travel dock.

The outcome is a small box that houses the circuit the dock uses to recognise your Switch and send the video signal to the TV screen. They even included USB ports in case you need them.

Jolimon notes that they’re willing to make more travel docks for those who are interested. They hope to keep the price below $35.

It would be nice if Nintendo made their own travel dock, but somehow we doubt that’s going to happen.
