If you’re eager to play Splinter Cell: Blacklist this fall, you’ll want to check out Ubisoft’s new trailer which showcases the co-op mode for the game. Two player co-op is available for 4 mission types, 14 maps and with the ability to do 2 person split-screen. Players will be able to play as either Sam Fisher or Isaac Briggs and work together to access specific parts of the map not available to each character. It looks fun, but I’m hoping the co-op style missions from Conviction make an appearance as well.

    Can this get any better?

Hope Wii U has one player on gamepad and other on tv.
Every co-op game should have that feature.

I cant go back to playing on split screen on one tv.

    • D.M.T

You can’t go back to split screen? Spoiled much? 😛 I’m just kidding.

Split screen is the past, off tv play for the 1st or 2nd player is the future

  • The Clockwork Being

2 player split screen for everything else. But for Wii U its: ”Full wide screen TV view and awesome gamepad off tv play feature

      This should be standard.

At the end of the trailer you will see game boxes. At the top is a Wii U version box 🙂

Let Microsoft show today their Next-box. It will be a lot of hype, a lot of enthusiasm. But I do not need a Kinect at home “because it is cool” I need Wii U with GamePad and I want games on the Wii U, which is designed just for happy gamers.

As everyone is talking about coop on TV & Gamepad, I’m wondering if it had been announced officially? Because this would nail it down for me, making this game an instant buy =)

  • impressive 🙂

  • MasterPpv

Wouldn’t be interested normally, but I might pick this up just to support Ubisoft 😉

  • Off.Sh

I am hopping two game pads and screen tv for 3 players. Or 2 gamepads nd tv split in 2 for 4 players

    • D.M.T

You need to lower your expectations right now to avoid disappointments. This game will not support 2 Gamepads.

      • Off.Sh

        thinking in future 🙂

  • Mr. Hobo

At last year’s E3, Ubisoft showed off some sort of speech recognition feature that was made possible with the Kinect. Does anybody think that Ubisoft will include this on the Wii U version by using the mic on the Gamepad?

  • This is a dream come true!

  • Justis Bistawros

Dude im going to play multiplayer in this game like there’s no tomorrow.

  • discuss

I’ll buy this game when the price is between €20,- ~ €30,-.

  • MujuraNoKamen

Looking really good. I think I’ll be getting this ASAP.
    – My only criticism is they’ve changed fisher’s voice… just doesn’t sound right but never mind eh.

    • I neve heard his voice. So, never mnd!

    • fireheartis1

Hey if I’m right about it being Lorenzo Lamas you have nothing to worry about. The man is one of the greatest actors of all time.

  • david jarman

I’ll be getting this, raymen, watchdog, the wonderful 101, pikmin 3, Zelda ww hd, Mario 3d, New legend of Zelda, Ssmb, deus ex, game and wario, batman origins, monolith soft’s game, a new f-zero and whatever retro is working on(hopefully metroid). I might not buy a ps4 or Xbox infinity until they’re cheaper.

  • fireheartis1

  • Mc Robins

Anyone else notice the update today?

  • LuisKcBoss

Lol, it’s funny looking at the youtube comment videos and everyone’s rejoicing about splitscreen.
But for us Wii U owners it’s, “Split-Screen? Is that when you break your tv in half? I don’t get this Split-Screen.”

    • Destructonator101

Split screen? That tech is as old as my grandma!

    • John Raybell

meaning one guy on the tv and one on gamepad, just like black ops 2. thats what im thinking anyways

  • Martijn Plasmans

Great looking game! Must buy for me as a Splinter Cell fanatic since the first one on the xbox in 2003/2004.

  • Adecentboy777

They didn’t mention the Wii U co-op version and the off tv play support for Wii U. And as you know you don’t have as many buttons on the normal wii controller as on the Wii U Gamepad. So how could 1 gamer play on the tv with the Wii Controller and the other one with Gamepad with off tv support. Unless they make it dependent from the professional Wii U Gamepad. BUT nothing similar was mentioned. So how do you know that’s gonna work?
