If you’re excited about Sonic Lost World and the exclusive Deadly Six Edition, check out the trailer above to get a better look at the new Deadly Six Edition of the game that comes with exclusive content. The NiGHTMARE DLC will be an exclusive level that’s accessed by a code included with the game. This content can be played at any point in the game and once the level is completed, players will have access to a special Color Power that’s usually only available through Miiverse.

The above trailer gives an introduction to the Dead Six, including Zor, Zazz, Master Zik, Zavok, Zomom, and Zeena. If you’ve not watched any other content about the game, this is the perfect introduction to the antagonists of the game. The game will be launching on October 22nd in North America.

This game game reminds me so much of Sonic Colors. This game along with other 3rd party games will take it away for me during the holiday season. Just a quick study who is getting for both 3DS and Wii U. Comment or like to tell me you are getting it for both.

Not too sure about it, but I think it’s been either confirmed to be a Sequel or at least Kind of a successor.

    • Nintedward

Just Wiiu for me.. Maybe 3DS version further down the line.

  • Wayne Beck

Disappointing. I want the content. I don’t want the disk…

    • Fred

I’m with you, if I buy this game I’ll be buying it digital

  • Jack5221

Deadly Six version looks like a lot of fun. Too bad I probably wont be able to grab a copy because I wont be visiting the states until about christmas time. During that time I’ll be picking up Watch Dogs, Mario 3D Land, DK, and hopefully the Deadly Six version of Sonic. Got my fingers crossed for some left over copies. I could buy the games here but knowing Vertigo (The main video game store here in Costa Rica) they’ll jack the price up on this version a lot more than they usually do. (60$ game in the states is about 105$ here) Too expensive for me, so I just buy my games in bulk when I visit the states.

  • Nintedward

If you can’t get the deadly 6 edition via the eshop, then I suggest pre ordering the physical copy. Problem solved. There is litteraly no advantages for digital over physical on Wiiu. Unless you’re too lazy to get up of your ass and swap a disc.

    • Kevin Sepulveda

Your last sentence is the reason I have all my games (over 20) digital. I have a big room and I usually only play with friends. I do not want to get up to change my game. Sadly it does come with some costs but I accept them lol

    • Fred

I’m with Kevin. Sorry, but that’s just how it is.

    • Wayne Beck

Um, there is the pretty distinct advantage of my not having to carry a ridiculous number of DVD cases around just because I like to bring my Wii U with me so other people can see how awesome it is.

Also, I get money back on all my game purchases.. But that’s just a bonus.

      • Nintedward

You never seen a dvd carry case ? you can carry about 30 discs with ease. Should be able to fit that into what ever large bag you’re carrying your Wiiu in. And it’s probably smaller and lighter than an external HDD LOL! 😉

        • Daniel Gonzalez

I think the fact is, he prefers not having too many dvds and I can agree with him that digital has it’s advantages there. Especially if you live in a small place.

          • Oni

until your system breaks and you lose all your games, when you buy a new one

          • Nintedward

When you send your Wiiu to get fixed at Nintendo, all your games will still work.

          • CharmanderRulz

It’s the other way around. If a physical copy stops working past what a disc cleaner can fix you now have no game. If you blow up a game on a hard drive, feed it to sharks and burn their droppings you can reinstall it using your account to a new memory drive. I don’t hate either format as they both have advantages but why do some others?

    • Branden Thomas

Truth. People are already feeling the effects of throwing their old games away just for the sake of convenience or to jump on the next big boat early. Look at how many PSone classics haven’t made it to the PSN store yet. Tekken 3, Brave Fencer, etc. Digital distribution has a long way to go if they want me to buy into it.

I’m rocking a nice collection of games that are hard to find or mad expensive because they aren’t available digitally or they are highly sought after like Ikaruga or Mega Man 7.

  • Ducked

This game looks very good, and I love Sonic. But I just can’t throw more cash down on a pre-order.

    • Sonic the Hedgehog

      Thanks, dude! You’re cool!

  • Josiah Parsons

  • Josiah Parsons

But I wanna play as Tails! There had better be a dlc for that.

  • Yoci

I cannot wait to pick this up! I haven’t played a Sonic game since the Sega Genesis.

  • Ice Climbers

Correction: Sonic Lost World has been delayed in North America, and is now releasing on October 29th.

  • Vialtoclef

That snake at the end is a RIP OFF from Galaxy Two’s giant worm boss

  • Wiiluigi

I feel like I’m going to buy this play a level and put it down. I’m still on the fence. Especially since there are going to be two of these games one for wii u and one for 3ds

    • Elem187

I feel the same way looking at this.
But I’ll end up renting it so i can decide whether I like it or not…. If I like it, i’ll buy it.
Games are just way too expensive to spend $60 blind on a title.

      • Wiiluigi

You’re right. I thought I would just watch a play through. But we’ll see. Maybe I’ll rent it too.
