Nintendo will be out in full force at the San Diego Comic-Con, this time with Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS. The first ever Super Smash Bros. tournament for the Nintendo 3DS will take place at the event, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try out the demo for yourself, too. Nintendo of America recently tweeted a promotion the company will be running for Comic-Con, where you can use Twitter to ask Nintendo to #BringMeSmash. Using the hash tag with your location at the convention will give you a chance for an exclusive demo of the Super Smash Bros. 3DS version. We are excited to surprise you with hands-on of #SmashBros for #3DS. Hereâs how you can enter for a chance to play! pic.twitter.com/itw0sF7lm8 â Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) July 22, 2014 If you’re attending Comic-Con this week and want to get your hands on Super Smash Bros. this promotion is probably the best way to do it if you don’t want to wait in the long lines at the Nintendo booth. Seems like alot of fluffing about for something so simple! Ashley King It is available to everyone in the Nintendo booth. This promotion will have a Nintendo representative come to you with a Nintendo 3DS to let you play the game. Kinda neat. FutureFox Homepage is broken on browser. Daniel Gonzalez It needs more work. Milky Bacons Wow, now that’s different. Imagine someone dressed up as Luigi come up to you and give you a box lined with red velvet and present you with a 3DS with a Smash Bros design on the cover. FutureFox I agree. Wonder if they just couldn’t do something with StreetPass to grant access to all those within the vicinity. People would likely still tweet about experience. Daniel Gonzalez True story. Gabe Hoffman I still wonder what these surprises they mentioned are Milky Bacons Hopefully something worth listening to. I mean, I’m all up for a new character but if it’s anyone from Fire Emblem Awakening I’ll murder somebody. nintendogamer Did anybody notice that there is a mobile site now? It’s kinda screwed up but it exist… Am I the only one?? Justin McMurry The articles are cut off on the right side and I can’t read them. I sent a message through the contact page about it. nintendogamer They fixed it. It’s still a little cut off on the right, but it’s manageable. ZeldaFan83 Yeah the site gets cut off on the right side and its very annoying and there’s no option to view the desktop site. If they fix the mobile site being cut off then I wouldn’t mind it so much. James Hume Thanks for the feedback, we’ll be constantly rolling out updates to the site all day today. I’ll be sure to patch that right up! simkenno Your mobile site, isn’t fully operational. The right hand text continues off the screen so you can’t fully read it. Also if you then turn the device on its side to read it the G+, FB, Twitter etc logos get in the way of the bottom text 🙁 FutureFox Its weird. I just read the other day about the pitfalls of having a responsive website. The complaints on here seem to justify that position. Phoenix Maybe I know this is unrelated to the article, but has anyone noticed the mobile version of this site? It looks great, but all the articles show up as halves. I guess it’s a formatting issue or something. Lusunup God Dammit! Nintendo just bring on smash into the Eshop!!! Epicstuf The demo or the game? If you said the game, they are not even finished. The demo? Well, it will crash the Eshop. Phoenix Maybe How? Too many downloads at the same time? SmashFinale Maybe. Epicstuf No, it’s a build. Phoenix Maybe Oh. Makes sense. jjbredesen The site looks different, and i like it, but as many have pointed out the mobile site does not work that good, anyways.. Why can’t we get a demo on the E-Shop!! I need to try smash, please Nintendo make it happen, i don’t care how little futures they put in the demo, i just need to try it! Epicstuf The demo will crash the Eshop. great deku tree not if they split up the release time of the demo between each continent. maybe a week or so apart so that it’ll stay stable. I wouldn’t care if Europe was last as long as I could get a shot at SSB4 before the release date. Marioman21 Amazing.
