eShop releases for the Wii U have been kind of skimpy lately aside from a few recent demo games, but Gaijin Games is changing that today with the release of Runner 2. Runner 2 is the sequel to Bit.Trip Runner, the highly successful platformer that was originally available as WiiWare. If you’re keen on picking it up you can head on over to the Wii U eShop and download it now for $14.99. If you’re a fan of the Bit.Trip games, you’ll definitely want to pick this one up. If you’re unfamiliar with the gameplay, check out this Indie Impressions video to give you some idea of what the game will play like. Bob Wilkerson You got Zen Pinball 2 faster than the US. We are still waiting. Alienfish It’s never fair, but to be fair, Europe has seen quite a few of the best games on Nintendo consoles before NA over the past few years. Dallas Scott Cooper I don’t like this series of games. Not something I’d be willing to spend $14.99 on. Maybe $4.99 at best. Josh Randell Just bought this awesome game and ready to play it Megan Allen noooo i have 13 dollars XD Josh Randell Good game Jess Purdy 15 bucks seems a little steep for an endless runner– maybe I’ve just played too many on iOS. Lord Fuse It isn’t an endless runner, not at all! I would suggest looking into the original Bit.Trip Runner, or at least videos of it. (Albeit it’s a lot more difficult, and frustrating) Alienfish You don’t generally see this kind of care go into a video game on iOS or Android. Any gamer who loves music, Mario, and a good challenge should pick this up without hesitation. Trust me, you’ll spend more than fifteen bucks on your app store before you come across anything this good. Just go ask the Miiverse, it knows all and tells all. Josh Randell Could have been worse 60 bucks so this works for me Srpg2ishere Cool. Chiwawa woah! looks way better in HD. Chiwawa Can someone tell me why the game is in the demo section, but theirs no demo?
