Nintendo today revealed that the hit indie multiplayer game Rocket League was coming to the Switch. There have been rumors about bringing the game to the Switch in the past, and now Nintendo confirmed it during their E3 Nintendo Spotlight.

The game was showcased running on the Switch with both online and local multiplayer. We’ve previously heard developer Psyonix “considering” the game for the Switch, and now it’s confirmed.

Rocket League on the Switch will feature cross-play, where players can compete against other players on other platforms. The Switch version will also include some exclusive content.

Rocket League was originally released in 2015 and has been a massive hit on all platforms. It will be released on the Switch this Fall.
