We’re getting closer to the May 21st release date of Resident Evil: Revelations on Wii U, so Capcom have decided to throw us a bone in the form of a new trailer. The new game will feature new characters for the online co-op mode and HD grahpics, but perhaps the biggest draw is the new “Infernal mode”, which you can see in the trailer above. This mode will take the place of the Hell difficulty setting in the 3DS game, though there’s no word on if it will be available immediately out of the gate or if you’ll have to beat the game on normal first, as with the 3DS version. Tons of extra enemies with extra health will be chucked under you in smaller spaces, so get ready for brutal combat and a lot of deaths. What do you think? Will you be playing Revelations on Inferal mode when it’s released at the end of this month? local_offer capcom Nintendo Resident Evil: Revelations wii u stars Further Reading F-Zero X gets updated on Wii U to fix control New Zelda Breath of the Wild trailer and game Super Mario Maker Wii U vs 3DS comparison (vi Get Ocarina of Time on 3DS for only $14 New teaser site for Zelda: Breath of the Wild released How to track NES Classic Mini stock in time for Christmas tooby77 More games. AZHood I’ll be playing it on May 21st, not March 21st. SH*TBLOCK It does say 5-21-13 at the end of the vid not 3-21 like in this posting. Saw that too, glad others picked that up too. Marius Valasinas F**k that! I’m better without such hard mode tooby77 Change? Chiwawa holy shit, that looks intense!! MasterPpv “As the end of March draws near…” March is just starting… bizzy gie Since the games are so close on both the Wii U and 3DS, I’m thinking a future possibilty of cross-platform like MH3:U. Adam B Hah, that looks kinda tight. WiiUltra I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to games. After watching this video I know I am going to have plenty of rage trying to beat it in Infernal mode without dying. Just like RE4. Ugh! Thats a good thing though haha. Sylux err owhkay… I saw a monster there in one of the early hallways which in my 3DS version I came across pretty much in the end of the game. Have fun everyone who’ll play Infernal mode, I think I’ll pass on that 😉 Wayne Beck This ones up in the air for me.. RE has been going very far in the wrong direction for my taste. I’ll have to hear very good things about this to pick it up. Jon Turner You should seriously consider this. This is one of the best REs in years. On 3DS it’s especially spectacular, but getting to play it on the TV (and Gamepad!) is even better. Joey Perez already played it wont pay for it again. Jack Sanderson Having a play of DMC. That on the WiiU would be amazing. Adrian I wish ZombiU had a hard mode Rafael Saldana It doesn’t matter how hard it is as long as we have plenty of ammo >:) Silent That is so Pro playing. Kirzan I remember when Resident Evil was about a zombie outbreak. Not a world filled with giant football players that have what looks like spiked tree trunks instead of arms. I understand they want to diversify, and I’m not saying this looks bad. It certainly looks better than Resident Evil 6: The Action Game. It’s just, the corridors look tight enough for normal “walkers” to be a threat if “spawned” right. RE never really needed huge ass mutations of things that don’t make sense except for key bosses. Was the virus created with these kinds of spiked-bat-arms in mind? How did THAT happen? Gary “This mode will take the place of the Hell difficulty setting in the 3DS game, though there’s no word on if it will be available immediately out of the gate or if you’ll have to beat the game on normal first, as with the 3DS version.” At the start of the video it recommends that first time players don’t use this setting so it seems it’s available from the start to me. 😉 Eli Valentin Villanueva I hoppe difficult doesn´t mean DIE in the first hit, because I prefer the enemies are smarter and stronger. Michael Jurado finally a game to test my Asian mode on Christopher Coonan I still can’t beat Terragria on Hell difficulty, and you expect me to do THIS!? …F*** you, Capcom.
