It’s not too uncommon for different regions to have different box art for the same games, but the change for Resident Evil is interesting. The series is known as Biohazard in Japan and the box art features a woman’s face, giving the game a more human touch than the hand seen in the porthole on the European and North American versions. It’s an interesting change likely designed to appeal to what Japanese gamers perceive the series to be. Which box art do you prefer? Why would Nintendo change that.. Genesect4ssb4 I generally don’t care. Konaim Japanese one is better imo Johny i love the shaded wii u logo on the japanese version… aside from that, i dont really care Zombie_Andrew This is a really slow day for Wii U Daily huh? WiiUltra Are there two zombies making out behind the girl? Haha. anyways I like the American cover but the Japanese Wii U logo is better. Christopher Coonan I honestly think that neither cover looks very good. The European one is more hideous, still. It’s all just poor design. michael546k I like the Japanese version better since it resembles the 3DS box art more and just looks a lot better in general. BTW that woman is Jill Valentine (in case u didn’t know) Grammar Nazi 2000 European one is bad. I like covers with things in them. Here you have to look through a window. This was good on 3DS because the 3DS boxes are small. Tim van Broekhoven I like the Wii U logo on the Japanese box! Why don’t we have that too…? MasterPpv I gotta say I REALLY like that black-to-blue gradient on the Wii U logo. They should definitely make that the standard. C.S. Bailey The only thing that would make it look better in my eyes would be to take the little light “flash” piece of art along with the words “Unveiled Edition” under it and put it on the other cover. Just comparing the portholes, the NA/EU versions show less. Then again, my idea would make much more sense if they were actually two different covers for the same territory, but one was the special edition. Mauricio Guaura “and the box art features a woman’s face” The editor doesn’t knows that’s Jill…?
