In a recent interview with Fox, Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime promised a “big E3” for Switch and 3DS games, and he also confirmed that the Switch is doing really well, sales wise.

In fact, it’s doing so well that Reggie said it was “setting sales records every day”.

“The Switch has been remarkable. Every day we’re setting new records from a US perspective”, said Reggie, adding that those records are compared to the launches of the Wii, the DS, and 3DS.

The Switch sold 1.5 million units during launch, and Nintendo is very optimistic about its lifetime sales possibilities: Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima recently said that he expects the Switch to sell 110 million units, which would be more than the Wii.
