This week has been a rocky one for Project Rap Rabbit, the new Kickstarter from the creators of rhythm games PaRappa The Rapper and Gitaroo Man. After launching the Kickstarter earlier this week with a goal of $1,105,872, the developer faced some backlash from Nintendo fans after they saw the Nintendo Switch stretch goal of $5 million.

The developer was quick to remove the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One stretch goals from the project, stating the following in an update:

“We want to let you know that we hear you loud and clear. As a result, we are busy re-examining our Stretch Goal format to prioritise a Nintendo Switch version of Project Rap Rabbit above other features. “

Well, they really did listen to fans as the stretch goal is back at a much more reasonable price: $1,500,000. Curiously enough, the Xbox One version is still missing. The updated Kickstarter page says to contact the developers on social media to let them know if fans still want an Xbox One version of the rhythm game. So, looks like we lost one version to reduce the price of the Switch version.
