Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 Wii U
Konami has announced that its Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 will be coming to the Wii U in the future. However, the publisher stresses that for the time being, they’re focusing on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version. The game uses the brand new Fox Engine, which according to Konami hasn’t been optimized for the Wii U console. In an interview with Spanish site Vandal, Konami’s Manorito Hosada says that the development team needs more time to make the engine and game work on the Wii U. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is set for release on other platforms on October 2, and we’ll probably have to wait until early 2013 for the Wii U version. If you need your football / soccer fix earlier, EA Sports will release FIFA 13 when the Wii U launches.

So far we haven’t heard much from Konami on the Wii U front — Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 looks like the first game they have confirmed for the console. There have been rumors of a Metal Gear Solid game on the Wii U in 2013, but so far we haven’t seen anything. Earlier today, it was confirmed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 won’t be coming to Nintendo’s new console, as the development team is busy working on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.

    • Answer

It has analog triggers that’s why like “bob” suggested and the wiiudaily link to the information

    • DerikGotro64

To brandon: Dude, who gives a fukk about analog triggers? They announced the wii u gamepad has clickable analog sticks, just like a PS3/360! Either talk about something important and intellectual or go troll somewhere else!!

To the other readers: On this subject, I’m not too much into sports games, but it’s cool that there will be a good load of them for the sports fans. Future looks bright on all fronts.

      • Wii U

You guys are idiots analog triggers aren’t analog sticks. Triggers are R buttons.

I never really got around to PES just Fifa but im not the person to nock a game when i have never played it but why do people Love or hate PES?

    • Nero Fernando

This is a bit late but there are a few reasons people love PES:
1.PES isn’t made by EA, the worst company in the world.
2.It has far less glitches than Fifa.
3.Konami actually cares about gamers and gives out updates REGULARLY.
      4.Looks more realistic.
5.You can’t score as easily as in Fifa (Fifa is way too easy).
      6.Loads of mods and customisability.
7.Much more in depth game modes (stuff like cut-scenes and training regimes).

      Reasons people prefer Fifa:
1.Licensed teams (which are pointless seeing that in PES you can easily get patches to fix this, plus, the only reason that PES doesn’t have these is because EA have a contract stopping them from getting them.
2.More teams (nice, but don’t add as much to the game as stuff like training regimes, once again, PES would have this if not for EA).
3.More expensive (people assume it’s better, which is false).
4.Peer pressure, everyone buys Fifa so they do aswell.

All in all, the main solution is to stop buying Fifa, make EA go bankrupt, get Konami the rights for licensing, and then all of Fifas good points will be PES’ aswell :D.
