During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo of America representative Bill Trinen confirmed that Pikmin 3 will be getting another round of DLC for the game. Unlike the previous two releases, this DLC release will feature all new stages, such as beaches and a house during a party. This DLC is slated to include four treasure stages and four battle stages. Captain Olimar returns as a playable character for the first time as well. In order to play the DLC Pikmin 3 owners will need to download a software update for the title, but even if you don’t plan on purchasing the full DLC pack, Nintendo is offering one treasure hunt and one battle enemies level for a total of two levels for free. No pricing information was released. local_offer Nintendo wii u stars Further Reading Nintendo loses patent appeal, ordered to pay Nintendo was brainstorming about Switch when Ducked Any “predictions”on the price people? Shota 1,99 for the whole pack i think Ducked That’s not bad BIG Franky given that the previous 4 stage DLC packs were $1.99, I’m going to guess $4.99 for this one… same 50 cents per stage as before but a premium paid for new original stages, enemies & playable character…. definitely worth more. tom Thanks, Nintendo keep them coming! How about some online play! Zorpix Wish they gave this same love to Nintendo Land. That game needs more stages… and it’d be a great game to try and capitalize on, since almost everyone with a Wii U owns it. Zakariyya Al-Quran Nintendo Land REQUIRES multiplayer. I mean seriously, who doesn’t want to play Metroid Blast with their friends online! Zorpix well, Metroid Blast would be fun online. Maybe Zelda too. I dunno about the others. BIG Franky this sounds like some pretty beefy DLC right here… I’m sure the price will go up quite a bit (as it should)… sounds like some really fun stuff though… will definitely be ordering this…. bizzy gie Good. greengecko007 It’s good to see Nintendo continuing DLC support for this game. I’d like to one day see a DLC that featured a few Olimar and Louie levels, though I doubt it’ll ever happen. DragonSilths That 1 level with a Christmas tree and being in the house is EPIC, for some reason it is like an eye spy thing that comes to mind for me lol. SleepySkullhead Since me and my friend are trying to get all platinums, I’m gonna wait till we get all the current ones and buy each DLC as needed. Looking forward to that!
