Wii U PAXNintendo has announced that it will be present at the annual PAX Prime video game convention in Seattle. The convention kicks off on August 31 and will run through September 2nd. This wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo showcases their games and consoles at PAX — the company has been at the event over the past few years. PAX Prime takes place at Seattle’s Washington State Convention Center, and if you’re attending, you’ll be able to find Nintendo in booth #462.

Nintendo will showcase the Wii U to attendees, and will make several games available to play, including ZombiU, New Super Mario Bros U, Pikmin 3, Nintendo Land, Scribblenauts, Ninja Gaiden 3, and Trine 2. In addition to Wii U games, Nintendo will also showcase a dozen 3DS games at the event.

  • theorangefish

Nice but I don’t understand that it is that so called pax(never heard) instead of the gamescom.

    • theorangefish

I mean at the PAX instead of the gamescom.

      • theaquacharger

PAX is a big event in the US now that it gets an east and west coast event now. Due to PAX being a good public event to go to NoA decided to advertise there. For NoE they decided gamescom wasn’t a fit event.

  • TheUNation

Wii U News… You forgot to add in “Razor’s Edge” after “Ninja Gaiden 3: ________”. Just want to let you know, of course. Thanks for posting this report.

Off topic, but I recently heard this conversaion between 2 twelve year-olds.
Ok, I will call them S and N, for, you guessed it, Sony fan and Nintendo fan. I have no idea what they said before this, but it was probly about Wii U/ PS3 vs. Wii U.

S: I have the PS3 (or something like that, cant wait till the Wii U come out.
    OK, so far so good.

    N: Me too.

S:Yeah, I cant wait to see how much it SUCKS.

me to self: yep, just like you.

Oh, and that’s (the article) pretty cool. To bad I live so far awy.. Uhhhkk..

    • Lord Carlisle

People are ignorant. I told somebody I was into Zelda and I found his reaction very insulting.

And I overheard the end of a conversation in my band class. Someone had said, “Like, maybe… Zelda?” and the other said, “Ha, nerd!”

I’m guessing the topic was what video game you were into.

    • Lord Carlisle

By the way, how did the Nintendo fan respond to that?

      • Platinum_p100

I feel the pain, dood. Every time I say something about anything ninty related, they say I’m homo. My friends also think im dumb coz I lack a phone. Anyway 2 the point.
