I thoroughly enjoyed this promotion last year, albeit choices were much more limited in the US.

  • Fred

Too bad it doesn’t include 2DS as that’s what my kids are getting for Christmas

    • Ducked

Smart gifts, while those things are for all ages. Those things are the perfect gift for kids this holiday imo.

Their cheap, have tons of games for all ages that the whole family can enjoy, and you don’t have to worry about the hinge breaking.

      • Fred

That’s right plus Walmart is selling them for $99 on Thanksgiving

        • Ducked

Yeah, that’s a excellent deal. I might even pick me up one.

  • I’d love this in America 😛 But I guess we had it last year too

  • Justagamer

Don’t need it i already own it

  • jjbredesen

Grr i have almost all the games, but i am no longer i UK resident.. Dam

    • Tecpedz94

Its most of Europe not only UK. Residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain,
Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, South Africa,
      Australia, or Russia.

      • jjbredesen

Ah yes, but i live in Norway 🙁 oh well guess i just buy the game tomorrow.

  • NoNE

It is NOT only in UK, but in almost all European countries.

    • Ducked

For some reason, Wii U Daily considers all of Europe the UK. That’s mostly because it’s been confirmed for all countries in the UK, and not confirmed for “every” country in Europe. I guess it’s easier then saying ” and some countries in europe”.

  • Hezkore

    Wait wait wait…
I have Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my 3DS and live in Sweden (Europe), how exactly do I get Super Mario 3D Land when I can’t select Sweden at the clubnintendo homepage?

    • Andreas Sunde

You don’t. Club Nintendo isn’t available here in Scandinavia.

      • Arthur Jarret

Import from the UK, make a UK club nintendo account (it’s what some danish buddies of mine did for digital promotions – although they can only use stars for stuff like wii points as physicical goods obviously won’t work)

  • Hmm again? We had a similair deal last year, when I bought my 3DS XL last year december we could also choose out of a list of free downloads after registering the 3DSxl Mario was one of the 5. I’ll get the Golden 3DS Zelda Edition next week, and selling my old grey one to a friend of mine really cheap, after I have transfered data between the systems and I have registered th 3DS Zelda Edition, I might just as well give the download code to my friend. No use to have 2 digital copies of Mario 3D land 🙂

  • Andreas Sunde

“To participate in the promotion, you have to be a resident of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, South Africa, or Russia.”

Europe is bigger than just UK. UK is actually one of the smaller countries.

    • CEObrainz

Your point makes sense….until you mentioned South Africa…..

      • Andreas Sunde

I didn’t read it carefully, i just copied from Nintys own website. Dafuq.

  • Relick

Does this include the limited edition zelda 3ds? Or do I need a club nintendo code for it? 🙁

I mean I’ll be getting some of those games later but would be nice to have 3d land sooner during the wait till christmas.

    • Arthur Jarret

If you register your 3DS to your club nintendo account, through the eshop, it should add zelda to your list of games in club nintendo. After you fill in a short survey you’ll have ‘registered’ it. At least, that’s how it worked with the animal crossing 3DS a friend of mine has.

      • Relick

ok, just gotta wait till the 27th then to link my club nintendo to my 3ds and i’ll have a free copy 😀

  • Arthur Jarret

This is actually a pretty bad move, it seems. Store employees are confused.
I got an email from a wii-points website I use when I’m too lazy to leave the house – stating mario 3D world will be released on 29-11 on Wii U and 3DS – and new 3DS owners get it for free…

Today – I went and preordered it for the exclusive furry cat cover a store has – and when I said ‘ I’d like to preorder super mario 3D world’ – the guy responded with ‘on the 3DS?’

The guy was a bit too slow to even have a job, let alone work with customers – but still, re-promoting a title with an almost equal name to your new title might not be the best move in a society that uses smartphones to substitute a general lack of brain capacity.

Sorry for being off topic, but is it me or is Zelda ALBW SO EPIC!?
