Nintendo has released yet another of its stylistic North American Wii U ads, this time it shows off Nintendo TVii and the new Wii U Chat feature. Nintendo TVii launches in North America next month, while it will be available in Japan on December 7. Europeans will have to wait until sometime in 2013, however.

Check out a few more of the recent Wii U TV commercials:

Cool. WiiUDaily seems to be in hot steamin fire mode. Because this just came today on youtube. Nice job you guys. 🙂

    • Nintedward-3DS-WiiU

The quality of Wiiudaily has increased a lot in the past week.

I can’t wait to see some more unique commercials than these. Nintendo needs genuinely good, creative, and original commercials. Like the ones they’ve made in the past. I’m sure that once they start airing commercials like those for Wii U, they’ll definitely get people’s attention. It certainly helped with Wii.

    • Mauricio Guaura

Ehhh, no. The thing that helped the Wii was Oprah and all the hype it got. Not the commercials…

  • Marioravestozelda

The music in these advertisements is really quite terrible, they sure got to change music stile.

  • Kirbyomega

I love how in the chat its a older guy. As if 70 year olds are going to buy the wii u. Or do you not need a wii u to video chat? P.S. I’m sending this from (irony) my wii u!!

  • Cloud Windfoot Omega

    that was not TVii

  • They still havent mentioned that its a new console, not just an add on.

    • Srpg2ishere

So you mean yesterday on TV when I heard the words “ON THE ALL NEW WII U” I must’ve been hearing things… Seems legit.

  • Mike Fraser

Really wasn’t anything to do with Nintendo Tvii.  It was video chat and Amazon Streaming Video.

    • Jeffery02

Yeah, I noticed that too actually. I even loaded up Amazon Instant Video just to be sure before I post something.

  • Jonathan Hickson

I could care less about Wii U Chat but Nintendo TVii? Oh I’m going to be on there all DAY! Watching the neighbors on HuluPlus! XD Whose with me?

  • Linskarmo

The chat and streaming look very cool, but the commercial music gets really annoying after a while.

Wiiu is amazing. My first day with it and I’m hooked on miiverse!

  • Pucker

What ever happened to the day when a game console was just a game console. it only played games. If I want to do the other things I would use a computer. It the Wii U only played games, the first update would have been so much smaller.

    •  You sir seem to be in the minority.  There is nothing wrong with having more than one way to do the same thing.  Game Consoles have evolved into entertainment systems just like computers have gone from business machines to being found in almost every household running a variety of tasks.  Similar things were said about computers too when people started using them for games and entertainment purposes.  This is what technology is.   I mean there was a day where phones were just phones and now they are much more than that.   Welcome to 2012 almost 2013.

Now this one wasn’t so bad. Showing the whole family setup in commercials for games is terrible (why not just give us a good trailer?) but when showing off the features like chat, then it’s a good way to do it. Although the music is still awful.
