Nintendo is looking to bring unique gameplay experiences with the Joy-Con controllers and their built-in HD Rumble feature in 2018. This comes from NIntendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, who spoke to Japanese publication Asahi about their plans for 2018. Kimishima said the company is working on creating unique gameplay experiences that utilize the HD Rumble feature to its fullest, and that utilize the unique features of the Joy-Con controllers. HD Rumble is a first for a Nintendo console, and it uses haptic feedback for a more accurate rumble feedback with much more nuance than regular controllers.
