Earlier this year someone discovered that Nintendo had added a secret NES Golf game into the Switch firmware. However, with the most recent firmware update to the Switch, Nintendo has removed the golf game.

The game was named “Flog”, which is “Golf” backwards and is actually NES Golf, a 1984 game made by Nintendo. It was added to the Switch likely to test out an NES emulator on the Switch.

And it was fully playable: two players could play the game on two Joy-Cons.

Now the game has been removed and all mentions of it in the code have been wiped as well.

RIP NES Golf on Switch, he hardly knew you!
