Nintendo held a Japanese Nintendo Direct yesterday, where several Wii U games were displayed. We got footage from LEGO City Undercover, Wii Fit U, Game & Wario, and also from from Wii U Panorama: the app/game that was used to showcase the Wii U at E3 and other events. Wii U Panorama is more than just a tech demo — the “game” will in fact be released, as the Nintendo Direct presentation shows, sometime in 2013.

The Nintendo Direct event is about 45 minutes long and focuses on the Japanese Wii U launch, which is just two days away. You wan watch the whole presentation here, or check out the game videos below:

Let’s pray that this Wii U Panorama View will NOT be a retail game and just be a simple download -.-…..

It was said in the North American Nintendo Direct that is is a paid download on the eShop.

Actually they said it’ll be free, initially.

They said the ‘DEMO’ would be free showing off just a couple of the scenes.  The actual game will be a paid download.

    • It has a free demo, and you pay for the full thing.

Google maps will be free for a little bit after launch, and contains the same features as panorama view

  • Why they bring out another Wario Game n Watch? The mini games may be fun, but am I the only one who thinks wario deserves a full fledged platformer like Mario? I LOVED WarioLand on the GB back in the days, but ever since then he never got the attention he deserves except this game n wario and co-roles in games like mariokart and smash brothers ( correct me if I miss some games with wario here). The panorama view looks great but I too hope it’ll be a small download, I for one will not pay €59,95,- for it. Maybe Japanese people do but I doubt it.

All I care about is ‘Shield Pose’ on Game and Wario.  I was told that it was going to be on the game.  I didn’t see it anywhere in these demos unless I missed something.  For me, no Shield Pose, no buy.

There was Wario Land: Shake It for the Wii. That game wasn’t that great though.
