Ninja Gaiden 3 Wii U
When Ninja Gaiden 3 was released earlier this year, the reviews were mixed. Most complained that the game was too shallow and technically inferior, and developer Team Ninja seems to have listened to that feedback. In an interview with the New York Daily News, the developer said that they intend to simply “make a good game” this time around with the Ninja Gaiden 3 Wii U edition.

“The concept for the Wii U version of Razor’s Edge is for it to be its own game, a game that does not try to be anything else”, said Team Ninja designer Yosuke Hayashi, who leads the development of the Wii U version of the game. He added that this time around, they’re going back to the roots of the Ninja Gaiden series. With Ninja Gaiden 3, the team departed from some of the core aspects of the previous games, like the challenging combat and missions. As a result, the game was easier and more streamlined, which displeased many fans of the series.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge on the Wii U will include lots of changes and improvements over the original Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. This includes better AI, graphics, and controls. The Wii U edition will also include all of the DLC that has been released so far plus exclusive weapons to the Wii U. Players will be able to use the Wii U GamePad to select weapons, view game information, browse inventory, and more. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for the Wii U will be released later this year, possibly during the Wii U launch window.

Will it also let you choose whether you want to kill the guy who is begging for his life?

  • Paul

sounds good to me as played the ps3 demo and looks and feels awerful

  • AwayToHit

A polished turd is still a turd 🙁

    • WiiUPlayWithMe:P

Not if it was a crapped on diamond, they just needed to clean off the crap, and it can shine 🙂

    • Alienfish

If you use the turd as fertilizer it can become a juicy piece of fruit!

I heard bad reviews for this game right away, but I hear goo things(like those that were supposed to come to everyone else) are comeing to WiiU. WiiU will be alpha prime. No one will be able to compete with it. All good games on WiiU.

You really shouldn’t use someone else’s name. Just look at my grammar, it’s way better. So for the record, the comment above was not from me, Alienfish.

      • Alienfish

Nah it was me really, I’m just so full of myself the only persons opinion that matters is my own, hence why I talk to myself.

I believe Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for the Wii U is more of a definitive version of 3 and it’s gonna be even more better than the 2 consoles that were previously released. Two thumbs up for Nintendo for publishing the definitive Razor’s Edge for both Tecmo-Koei Games and its developer Team Ninja!

I played Ninja Gaiden II, but I never really got into it. Maybe I will give this one a try if it gets better reviews than the PS360 versions.

  • thtdude

can’t wait. for the game and the console!

    • swic11

ya, i cant wait for the console at least. Does anyone know if Nintendo is holding a press conference in the near future?

Considering that the launch window is until about February next year and this was show at e3, which was supposed to be only launch window, I’d say it’ll definitely be launch window, if not launch day

    • Paul

launch window is holidays 2012 not 2013

  • rockman

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii uuuuuuu is always the best of best

  • Brandon

First 2 rocked but 3 ranked in Ign top 10 worst games of 2012 rental!!

  • Alienfish

They are also bringing back dismemberment of enemies. This feature was strangely missing from the 360/PS3 versions since it was shown off at E3 2011 with that feature. It just seems weird to me that they would hold back so much for the original release. Oh well, WiiU will have a 1-up on the other two consoles from the get go so I’m not complaining.

  • The Kid

This game looks sick!! I hope it’s as good as it looked at E3. I should buy Ninja Gaiden 3 & Colonial Marines it when comes out in February. I already plan to get Assassin’s Creed 3 & Madden at launch, so February NG3.

I tried the Ninja Gaiden for the WiiU and man oh man it was hard as heck so no cake walk for those of us that are into button mashing LMAO. If you are a technical type of player you will see the beautiful killing in all its HD glory. My brother was loving it so much he tried the game 4 times at the WiiU event. Even the rep was impress with his skill.
