Nintendo has released a bunch of new Wii U game trailers today. We get some trailers for game we’ve seen before, and trailers of the just announced titles such as Bayonetta and Warrirors Orochi 3 Hyper (whatever that is…). We’ve gathered all the trailers below, so grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy!

New Super Mario Bros U

The latest trailer for the Wii U launch game shows just how it all begins this time. Yep, Mario has to rescue the princess once again.

Nintendo TVii

The newest Wii U feature was announced earlier today, and you get a glimpse of how Nintendo TVii works in the trailer below. It’s great to see Nintendo embrace their home console as a media player as well.

Bayonetta 2 Wii U trailer

The newest Wii U exclusive, Bayonetta 2, of course has a trailer. It’s developed by Platinum games and will be released sometime in 2013.

ZombiU gameplay trailer

The latest ZombiU trailer shows more of its Wii U GamePad features, and some tense action gameplay.

Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013

Ubisoft’s fitness game is coming to the Wii U later this year. It includes a bunch of workout mini games covering a variety of exercises.

Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper

We’ve never heard of Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper for the Wii U, but it sure looks like an interesting action game. And it looks very Japanese as well, complete with fast paced rock music and giant swords…

Assassin’s Creed 3 Wii U trailer

Finally, we get an Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer with gameplay that was actually taken from the Wii U version of the game.

Nintendo Land

The newest Nintendo Land trailer walks us through the attractions this party game has to offer. Nintendo Land will be bundled with the $349 Deluxe edition of the Wii U. The trailer shows some of the new mini games, including Mario Chase and Pikmin Adventure.

    • eli seth

      i agree

  • Dawnofmorning

Just a few more reasons to be excited about the Wii U and its amazing amount of games coming out!

  • EponaVsCrimsonLoftwing

That is true, nothing does say Japanese quite like fast paced rock music and giant swords. My friend actually has one of the dynasty warrior games that this one is a…spin off combo thing…of and I gotta make a custom character in it. To put it simply, my character was a total player. 2 fancy swords and he even had a rose in his mouth. The best part was, it worked and looked perfect. We still have good times about that, and we only did that game over one night when we had a sleep over. I may not be a Microsoft fan, but I will acknowledge a good game when I play one, and if this is anything like that, and it looks to be, day 1, just so I can recreate my Poet Warrior of Love! hahahaha

    • Mateus Palamecia

Sorry my friend, but Warriors Orochi 3 doesn’t have a mode where you can create custom characters. However, if you liked the gameplay in Dynasty Warriors, then there’s lots of fun to be had here. After all, you’ve got 130+ characters to goof around as with just about any weapon you can think of, and some you wouldn’t (bladed yoyo, a paintbrush, a giant wine-gourd, a fishing pole, an orb that summons giant zombie fists…).

It’s a hack and slash game, so some people are prone to getting bored with it, but I think it’s a lot of fun!

Oh, and here’s a little trivia. Most of the characters in the game are based off of real people from Chinese and Japanese history. One character is Ujiyasu Hojo from the Hojo clan. Turns out that the Hojo clan’s crest is what they based the triforce off of in The Legend of Zelda. So in the game, Ujiyasu is running around wearing a triforce necklace and a cape with a big triforce symbol on it.

So excited!!! Preordered the deluxe version today and had to preorder my Mario for it too. I definitely think the wii u is going to blow the competition away. It has awesome potential, now wii just need to to spread the word to make sure it succeeds!

    • Lord Carlisle

I pre-ordered my deluxe version and Pikmin 3. Then I found out Pikmin 3 isn’t going to be a launch title, so I’ll save up for NSMBU.

      • Ahiam94

Lol, I did the same exact thing, but now I’m saving for ZombiU.

  • Your Mom

I cant believe Mario is saving the princess again you would think she would get security

    • Crusader

Who needs security when you have a plumber in overalls

      • Dan7el(Wiiu day one purchase)

Who rides male egg laying wachamacallit dinosaurs that are rainbow colored vegetarians… or at least like fruit.

        • Crapcake

yoshis aren’t vegan if you’ve played super mario 64 ds they eat goombas and lots of stuffs

  • Collected

    This is terrific 🙂

  • Hola

Why is it that in the ZombiU trailer, the player seems to be having hand aches?

    • LolWatTurtles

You never watched the whole trailer then…

    • SteampunkJedi

He turns into a… You know.

I liked all of the new trailers for sure and they are making the WiiU look reat graphics and power wise like with so many baddies at the same time on SMBWiiU, and on Warriors Orochi 3 I don’t know about you all but I can tell a lot more detail in everything in this game compared to similar games on PS360 ie Dynasty Warriors series made by the same company mind you…it has my interest for sure.

  • Buckethead Jr.

actually u can watch all of these trailers and more in the Wii Nintendo Channel, Just saying.

    • Macarony64

      And on the 3ds eshop

    • eli seth

      and on your computer…..

  • Howie

All the games look so awesome! Does anyone know if you can play, say, New Super Mario Bros U one player with just the Wii U Gamepad? Like playing as mario but being able to place blocks as well.

    • Dan7el(Wiiu day one purchase)

From my understanding you can at least play the full game with just the gamepad. It would only make sense for the boost mode to be usable during this.

  • TheImaj

    It’s happening..

  • R00bot

Man, Nintendo is awesome! Every single one of these trailers made me want this console more. It looks amazing.

  • Metroidvania

Well this is the news I’ve been waiting for. I’ve enjoyed posting on this site, and I’m sure ill visit from time to time, but this is defiantly my last post. At lest for awhile. A lot of you guys are great! Draco Breach, Evanescant Hero, and heck I enjoy Nintedwards comments. Yeah I know you get a lot of hate, but I think your enthusiasm is great. Sure you may not have the best spelling or grammar, but at least you are excited about playing games. That’s commendable.

Especially in this realm of pessimistic press, and just overall turmoil this online gaming community is in. I mean after I heard Nintendo was getting death threats for Bayonetta 2. I was just in shock at there sheer insanity of this community. Sure a Nintendo console didn’t get the first, but this game was shelved. Nintendo brought it back, and as a fan I’m glad ill be able to play it. Stuff like this just makes your heart sink, because I remember a day when gaming was gaming. You played a game to have fun. It was entertainment. If the companies were in competition. They actually competed against each other. They just didn’t set back, and let fans of brand X insult brand y, and do their business work for them.

I also found it strange that they talked about specs. Like the 2gb RAM, and the fact that the gpu would be a GP gpu. That let’s the gpu take on some of the tasks of the CPU. As well as the power consumption. Which I’m honestly not a techy guy. I could care less what’s in the thing. I did think the power consumption news was cool though

I can’t wait to get a Wii U, and I’m really excited about the upcoming games, the Miiverse, Tvii, and hopefully having a great console that provides me with first, and third party entertainment. It’s great to see the third party support, and I really hope the Wii U gets all of it. At this point I don’t know what Microsoft, and Sony will do. All I’m hoping for is that the third party support continues. Like I’ve said its stupid to hate MS or Sony. They’re just another business doing there job. I don’t see myself buying another console if the third party support stays. I’m really not a big enough fan of either of their first parties, but hey I know they appeal to others, and that’s cool.

At the end of the day my message is. Let the companies worry about competing with each other. Just sit back, and enjoy the good games. Oh, and remember just because something doesn’t appeal to you don’t trash it.

    Anyways cheers guys. I’m out.

  • LolWatTurtles

Did anyone else notice that Gamestop lists Sniper Elite V2 as a Wii U Game?

  • wiiU gaming PLUS

please i dont want to have a brain hemerage and die in my sleep before wiiu releases that would be so wrongjust think somewere in this world people waiting for wiiu will die before they play it that is seriously frying my mind LOL

  • Kahhhhyle

Anybody else thing Mario will be waaaaaay too easy with somebody making platforms for you? And I still can’t believe bayonetta 2 is an exclusive… If that doesn’t prove Nintendo wants the hard core crowd nothing will

  • Skull Kid

I just want more information about Pikmin 3

  • James

If you’re interested in warriors orochi 3 it’s released on ps3 and Xbox already, so you can look up gameplay videos.
Obviously this hyper version seems to have much more features though

  • Howie

Its just that everyones saying that you need to buy a wii motion plus controller to play the wii u games and i dont have one so im wondering whether i can play the games just with the gamepad.

    • James

Some games will need motionplus but not all of them

  • Acid

(New Super Mario Bros U) LOOKS LIKE THE MOST EPIC ONE ALONG WITH (Nintendo TVii) AND (Nintendo Land).

  • Dan7el(Wiiu day one purchase)

Nintendo Land gets too much of a bad rep to me. These 12 games aren’t just 12 mario party style games or something. There like the games you would go on the e-shop and pay $8 bucks each for. They are mini full games. Multiple modes and levels in each one. I honestly want Nintendo land more than any other WiiU game. F-zero single player racing, Space Pirates and Ridley in Metroid blast, and solving puzzles in Zelda Battle Quest….it’ll be really fun!

  • :)

Just pre ordered a premium wii U bundle, NSMB U, Batman AC, and a pro controller.. i think that’s enough.. for now.

  • SteampunkJedi

I think SMB U, Tvii, and Nintendo Land look awesome. The Bayonetta 2 trailer was pretty wicked too.

  • Neonridr

I noticed the whole Sniper Elite V2 Wii U version on Gamestop as well. Hmmmm, leaked info perhaps?? The gamepad would make it an ideal addition to the Wii U lineup. Using the gamepad screen as your sniper scope is a no-brainer. I always thought of a game like Silent Scope when I first saw the Gamepad, so we can always hope for the best!

  • meliza

    I don’t think I can make it to December with all this of this stinking waiting. These where my first emotions: !:D :’D 😀 🙂 -_- 🙁 :c :C D: D’: /_/ ~_~ (Dead).

I gotta say, Nintendoland has me very curious. I’m also seeing plenty of rentals to hold me over until Smash Bros. and Metroid.

  • Scootex1912

Gonna preorder the deluxe console…Wiiu looks amazing & really looking forward 2 owning another piece of games console history:)! Nintendo, u have never disappointed me:)!!

  • Kirbymon123

Nintendo land trailer only has 9 minigames. DOES THAT MEAN THERE’S STILL A CHANCE FOR A KIRBY MINIGAME? Please! I don’t care if it’s terrible, just make a kirby minigame!

  • Kirbymon123

Can you play Competitive and Team minigames on your own with AI team mates/competitors

I have to show thanks to the writer for bailing me out of such a challenge. Right after searching through the world-wide-web and finding opinions that were not beneficial, I figured my entire life was done. Being alive without the answers to the issues you’ve fixed all through your entire article is a crucial case, and those that could have badly affected my career if I hadn’t noticed the blog. Your own ability and kindness in controlling every part was very useful. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t come upon such a thing like this. I’m able to now look ahead to my future. Thank you so much for this specialized and amazing guide. I will not think twice to recommend the sites to any individual who will need guidelines on this matter.

  • Teves153
