I wish he would have said something about Rayman Legends that Nintendo Direct was my last hope that Ubisoft is going to change their mind and release it this month.

  • The new Mario & Luigi game was the best new announcement.  Can’t wait for that.  I’m very disappointed nothing was said about a Bravely Default localization, though.  Thought for sure that this would include that.  In fact, when Reggie said he had one more thing to say in the end, my hopes soared only to come crashing down.  Oh well, a decent presentation.  Hard to follow up on the last one that just dropped bomb shell after bomb shell.

    • A Nintendo direct has been confirmed in Japan dealing with 3rd party games. I’m certain North America will have the same. Maybe localisations will be addressed then.

      •  “NA will have the same” as in we’ll have another ND about 3rd part games as well?  Hopefully since I doubt they would announce the localization of a game in a Japan ND haha.  Thanks for the tip though.

      • JuleyJules

This ND was originally announced for NA & Europe with Japan coming later.  Maybe the one next week that’s Japan only will add NA/EU too.  With any luck there will be some other Wii U 3rd party dates announced even for games we already know about.  Rayman info would be great but I’m not holding my breath we’ll hear from anyone on that.

They basically told us the release dates of games that had already had their release dates announced….nothing new really and at the end when Reggie said that he had a big announcement I got really excited only to be disappointed.

  • grandlx2

It was lame. All they did was show already announced games. Nothing new. Basically “show a few games to keep the children happy” kind of deal. Meh.

Would you like a flag to go with your FAILED comment?

    • kevin nun—-

You are right, just brace yourself for negative comebacks by butt-hurt people.

  • DemonRoach

All baby games except need for speed.

    • Srpg2ishere

      Need For Speed is awesome.

      •  And OLD too!

        • uPadWatcher

You can’t stop the Need for Speed franchise… thanks to Criterion that Most Wanted U is shining now.  Your time is up, their time is now.

    •  InJustice and Walking Dead are Baby Games??

From that list the only games possibly marketed towards the younger crowd is the Disney one Toki Tori.  Possibly runner but the rest are definitely not baby games.

Oh but I forgot you are a self proclaimed hard core gamer right?  You are too manly to play games that are not about war, violence or do not have a rated M rating right?

Every time I see someone complain about the alleged Baby Games I picture some 13 year old that thinks he knows everything.  Either that or some 20 year old that acts like a 13 year old.

      • kevin nun—-

Every time I see someone trying to turn down hardcore gamers, I feel they are making it hard for Nintendo to bring them back. Same old immature comebacks towards people like us who have a different taste in games, it’s getting too monotonous.

        Please don’t feed the troll.

      • Daniel Gonzalez

I’ve seen many of those on a daily basis. I guess GTA and Mortal Kombat are baby games by his logic.

    • Daniel Gonzalez

      I smell a troll.

      • DemonRoach

        I smell a fanboy.

    • whoa the walking dead is a baby game!!!!!?? holy shit ive been watching a show for 6 year old’s the whole time!!?? HOT DAMN! i didnt know that

  • Bravyoura

The only good thing to come from direct was the Zelda community on mii verse it’s braking records 6500 comments in 6 hours:^)

  • These are the types of games that will be ignored and not the kind Nintendo needs to change it’s image.  Hell, I guess they like this image, so maybe they need to stop complaining about people not wanting them to succeed.

    • Daniel Gonzalez

Gamers on ps3 and 360 play this game as well. I don’t see how a third party title like NFS is hurting their image. Unless you mean the fact that it’s a port, then you may have something there.

      • leemass25

nfs port is ported from the pc version not the console versions.

        • Daniel Gonzalez

I never said where it came from. You apparently misread.

      •  Well that too!  I meant because there are way too many kiddy games on the Wii U and like a mad man, Nintendo does not want to escape that image.  This is why I hope that Nintendo goes down so that they will get taught a lesson.

        • there are alot of kiddy games on the ps3 and the 360 too. but your too much of a dumbass you wouldn’t know that. sooooo i really cant get mad at you. stupid people think and say stupid things.

          •  I know there are, but is the image of those systems baby game machines or a grown man’s machine?  They do not promote their baby games as if that is what they want to be known for.

  • Waluigi Galaxy

  • MetroidZero

Lineup sucks, if you ask me. Just my humble opinion.

  • Why can’t someone be disappointed in “baby games”? I’m not a hard core gamer, but I don’t want to be spending my time on cheezy pokemon looking games, nor do I care to be playing blood and gore games just for the sake of the blood and gore. I make exceptions of course, like mario bros or donkeykong (the good baby games) but a lot of the crap nintendo release seem like they are catered for the super young or the elderly. I want a well done metroid game, or zelda, something that is a really good franchise game with a story I like and a mentally challenging play style. FZERO! now that would be awesome and right up my alley, and hopefully they produce a good metroid game unlike that last piece of garbage “metroid other m”, someone should have been fired over that debacle.

I just gotta ask, who plays these cheesy cartoon games like funky farm, nintendo land, raymon legends, lego city undercover, massive list goes on.. Most of these games have no history, they just pop out of no where and they all look like a mixture of pokemon/power ranger characters that you would rather see die in a video game than be the leading character, that you use to either fart on your enemies with or use some other kind of silly attack that looks like it tickles more than anything else. Just seems like anyone between the ages of 14 to 40 should have no earthly business playing odd ball games like these unless they are eccentric or something. Rant’s over.
