Nintendo today revealed New Super Mario Bros U for the Wii U console, and now they have released the first screenshots of the game. The New Super Mario Bros U screenshots show the familiar NSMB worlds, colors, and visuals that we’ve seen before, only now, it’s in HD. New Super Mario Bros U will support co-op multiplayer where up to 4 players can play at the same time, and it will integrate Miiverse deeply into the game, where players can leave messages for each other before the levels, join games together, and more. New Super Mario Bros U will be a launch title for the Wii U, and is easily the biggest must-have Wii U game (unless Nintendo or other third parties reveal something amazing later on). Head on after the break for a dozen screenshots, all of them in glorious HD quality! local_offer E3 New Super Mario Bros U Nintendo super mario wii u stars Further Reading Zelda: Breath of the Wild has 76 side-quests Confirmed: Breath of the Wild is the last Wii Switch vs Wii U game case size comparison Miyamoto dismisses the Wii U as a “nece 6 reasons to grab a Nintendo Switch before March 6 reasons to skip the Nintendo Switch for now awsomeness!! super mario, super mario, super mario, super mario, super mario ,super mario ,super mario, SUPER MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ILOVE THAT GAME EPICGAMER111 wow so much super mario Norm the Conqueror Flippin’ awesome, but Zelda Wii U ill be better. Hafid Agree with you two !!! Captain snugglebottom I loooooooooooovvvvvvveeee it Britton I loved the first game and this looks better. Nintendo has all of my favorite games. 🙂 Drew I don’t even have a HD tv and I want it! Wow Looks like teh best 2-D mario side scroller to date, but it could be better as follows: 1. Levels look too easy. Hopefully what was shown are just teaser demos and not real levels. 2. Animation is top notch. I like how the leaves on that intertwined vine wiggled just before they started falling off. But, if you ignore the upscale animation and cool backdrops, gameplay feels lacking in innovation — like everything’s been done before, only they now look priettier. So, I could see myself having just as much fun with SMW on the SNES as SMBU. 3. I hope it doesn’t have too much wall-jumping action as the NSMB on the Wii as I find it more annoying than fun. IMHO, Mario shouldn’t strive to imitate Jackie Chan or The Matrix movie… random WII U LOVER EMOTICON anthony Why don’t nintendo make it to the next level, why don’t they make it as TPS game??? Aidan 745 I know I probably shouldn’t bash on this game granted that it hasn’t even come out yet, but the power ups in this game are too similar to power ups in previous games. The squirrel is way too alike to the tanooki suit (full raccoon suit) and the regular raccoon suit (Ears and tail). Even if they were trying to do this on propose, we’ve been seeing the return of raccoon Mario for a bit too long now; we need something different, and New Super Mario Bros. 2 did (more or less) better at doing so than Mario Bros. U. The baby Yoshis, though seen already, aren’t a big deal, but I’ve seen a balloon Yoshi already, and not TOO long ago (Galaxy 2). Still can’t wait for the game though.
