Nintendo keeps updating Splatoon like clockwork: new weapons, gear, and maps are continuously released for the Wii U multiplayer shooter, and Nintendo is also hosting frequent “Splatfest” tournaments as well. Talk about proper post-launch game support.

Earlier today Nintendo released the newest Splatoon weapons: the E-liter 3K Scope and the Custom Range Blaster, with a cool new sub-weapon.

The E-liter 3K Scope is, as its name suggests, a powerful scope. However, the viewfinder and field of view are quite narrow, so watch your back when using it.

The Custom Range Blaster is similar to the regular range blaster, but comes with Splat Bombs as sub-weapons and a special close quarter weapon: the Kraken.

The new content is now available to all Splatoon players on the Wii U.

Don’t forget that the newest Splatoon Splatfest is now live in North America.
