Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8 bundle helped move tons of Wii U units last year, so it makes sense that Nintendo would want to keep that bundle up-to-date for those who have yet to jump on board the Wii U train. Since its release last year, there have been numerous DLC packs available for Mario Kart 8, bringing unique characters and maps.

Nintendo has announced a new, updated version of their Mario Kart 8 bundle that will go on sale at retailers across the United States. This new updated version includes a 32GB Wii U, Mario Kart 8 pre-installed, and a card with a download code for both Mario Kart 8 DLC packs. In total, this new bundle with the DLC gives you access to the entire game as Nintendo has released it so far, with 6 new characters, 16 new tracks, and 8 new vehicles. The bundle will retail for the standard $299 price.

It’s a bummer that Nintendo hasn’t decided to drop the base price of the Wii U as Microsoft did with the Xbox One, but perhaps we’ll see some great discounts on this amazing bundle around the holiday season.
