Paladin Studios have announced today that Momonga Pinball Adventures, their iOS/Android title, will be making the jump from mobile to console on Nintendo’s Wii U platform. The game is a unique pinball game that features a flying squirrel who battles enemies and collects items. Paladin Studios is not the first mobile developer to release on Wii U and they certainly won’t be the last.

Check out the video above and let us know what you think of the game.

I would like to file a report of an abuse towards squirrels. jk. Never been a fan of pinball games so I’ll pass on this one but I’m glad to see more games!

  • SonicLucario

Well its always nice to see more games heading to the Wii U 🙂

  • It actually looks like a really polished and fun game for those who like pinball.

  • Clel

PETA coming in, in 3… 2…

    • cman douglas

oh crap. they probably will sue! i mean, they sued pokemon for encouraging kids to make animals fight!

      • Elem187

I knew it!! Michael Vick was a Pokemon addict, thats why he was creating dog fighters at his mansion.

      • Nintyfan

So for about 14 years, PETA doesn’t have an issue with Pokemon, but on 2012 (Pokemon Black and White 2) it was a giant problem?
Wow, PETA is just an attention whore now.

        • Andreas Sunde

PETA is just terrible at this point. Watch Penn & Teller’s Bullshit episode about them if you haven’t, it has a lot of very interesting information.

They also made a big deal about having to kill a rat in BF3, to avoid alerting the enemy and getting killed…

I do love me some pinball. If the price is right, I might pick it up!

  • Baum 「ツリー」

Super Monkey Pinball without monkeys, huh?
The idea Looks quite interesting, but I’ll pass 😉
I’ve never been good at (or liked) Pinball games.

i must say, the wii u seems promising with all the tons of indie games and first party titles. i dont care if the next call of duty comes to wii u. i am happy that the wii u gets the weard goofy games, and dont get the ordinary games that i already played every year on other platforms before..

    • Magnus Eriksson

Yeah, buying Android games for ten times the price is just awesome. Cant wait to get my claws into Angry birds…

      • e_rocket

Ja, I don’t even like angry birds in the phone…

      • jay

Ummm… a lot of indie console games are actually really good. I take it you haven’t tried any?

EDIT: FUCK this is an android port? oh hell noo… Nintendo put your foot down now!!

        • Magnus Eriksson

I love indies too and I really wish they will find a home on Wii U. But yeah… Im no fan of ported mobile phone games, thats just desperate. I dont think its good signals to us fans either.

Edit: Yes I tried indes on Wii U (and Wii). For Wii U I got Trine2 (great game), Switch Force (fun for a while), Puddle (thought it would be way better), Neo (fun for a while), Bit trip (good)… I think I did get some more but cant remember now.

    • Mario

I don’t think the games Nintendo has are ordinary. That’s why I like these games! There out of this world games!

  • Nintyfan

Looks fun. It’s really cool to see pinball be made into an adventure instead of your standard set of tables.

  • JBeauregard

I don’t want to see another pinball game – especially a mobil OS port.

    • Elem187

Did you watch the video? The game looks extremely creative.
If it was just a pinball game I would agree with you, but it doesn’t look like a standard pinball game.
I dunno, maybe i just like original content that I have never played before as opposed to the same game releasing over and over again with minor tweaks.

      • JBeauregard

I did watch it. It’s just doesn’t appeal to me.

  • Josiah Parsons

    This actually looks kinda awesome.

  • Wayne Beck

Looks pretty good for a Pinball game. Going to need something to set it apart from a cellphone game if it’s going to be more than $5.00 though.

    • Elem187

Well considering the Wii U is roughly 20x stronger than the device this game was designed for, I really hope the developers see the value in taking advantage of that power… but probably not. If big time developers don’t want to take advantage of it and rather just give us a copy and paste ports from x360, I don’t think indie devs are going to be able to afford to put in a deeper effort.

  • e_rocket

Looks fun, and as i don´t like playing on the phone, I may get it for the U

  • Andreas Sunde

I want a port of 3D Pinball (Space Cadet) from Windows XP. #Nostalgia
