Today, Erika announced that Miiverse will be changing how they handle restrictions placed on accounts that are found to be violating the Miiverse Code of Conduct. Previously, if you received a restriction for any violation, it only applied to the account on which you received the restriction, which meant you could make a brand new account and continue on.

This new policy now applies the restriction to every account on the console, even accounts that are created after the restriction has been received by another account. This means that if you share your Wii U console with multiple family members, you could be seriously affecting their ability to use Miiverse if you violate the terms and conditions on your own account.
