If you enjoyed Nintendo’s Mega May promotion for the Nintendo 3DS earlier this year, you’re about to get a lot more excited. Nintendo just announced that one new Mega Man game a week will be released on the Wii U virtual console in August. There’s no list of games that will be included in this promotion, but given the sheer amount of Mega Man games available, we expect fans will be pleased.

If you like Mega Man, then you’re in for a treat – a classic Mega Man game will release every Thursday in August in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U!

It’s nice to see Capcom supporting the virtual console in this way, as it is one of the week spots of the Wii U compared to the original Wii. Perhaps Sega could take a lesson? Currently there’s no word on whether or not this promotion will be available outside of North America, but Europe has received a handful of Mega Man games on the virtual console already.
