ATLUS has released a new trailer for Citizens of Earth, the Earthbound-style RPG from Eden Industries. We checked out the game at E3 and came away impressed with the work that Eden Industries has done so far. If you’re into JRPG style games like Earthbound and enjoy a bit of humor, Citizens of Earth will probably be right up your alley. Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think!

Citizens of Earth is releasing in October on the Wii U, as well as PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Nintendo 3DS.

Looks interesting, I’ve never played Earthbound, so I should probably play that instead of this.

Garbage indeed! This looks a lot like EARTHBOUND, and I’ve always been a fan of that game. I like that third parties are publishing some of these “indie” titles. Atlus publishing CITIZENS OF EARTH is a good sign of that.

Seems like they just killed one of the few unique uses the gamepad had left…

I’m sorry but I almost fell asleep watching that trailer. Maybe it’s just me but the graphics are pretty bad, even for a retro style of game. Maybe I am expecting amazing graphics since the Wii U is a new system

This doesn’t appeal to me at all.

This looks like something I might enjoy as Earthbound is one of my favorite RPGs.
