If you were a fan of the original WiiWare title La-Mulana, I’ve got good news for you. The La-Mulana 2 kickstarter has just gone live, with the game coming from the original creators, NIGORO. La-Mulana was an instant indie classic when it debuted on PC in 2005. The game got an overhaul with updated graphics for its WiiWare version, which released in Japan in 2011 and North America in 2012. Now the developers want to create a sequel with your help. The initial goal is only $200,000 with $57k already pledged at the time of writing. That will include release on PC, just like the first version of the game. Through stretch goals, the development team hopes to bring the game to current-gen consoles including the Wii U, PS4, and the Xbox One at a whopping $1,650,000 stretch goal. At the rate the Kickstarter is picking up money, it’s possible we’ll see this happen. Will you pledge and help the game come to Wii U? local_offer Nintendo wii u stars Further Reading Nintendo loses patent appeal, ordered to pay Nintendo was brainstorming about Switch when That guy who hates Spike I never got to playing this game. It was pretty much said to be the Wii’s last great game (depending on where you live, and how you feel about Pandoara’s Tower). BIG Franky nope! Stephen Macneil The stretch goals are way too insane and unreasonable. They could make the same goals for way way less. Still, looks interesting and I hope they pull it off. Fred I’ll be more interested AFTER they confirm that Wii U and/or 3DS is one of the stretch goals right now the stretch goals list which platforms MIGHT get the game. GregoryTheRainMaker We’ll see. Madmagican Well this one seems a little far-fetched but I guess it could be interesting AceRuby Yea 1.6 million is a bit steep for a console release but hopefully they are able to somehow reach it I’d very much be interested if it showed up on the eShop for Wii U. Dáibhí wotshissurname Couldn’t Nicalis do it? They were originally going to put the first game on Wiiware but then didn’t due to the steep decline in users. I don’t think they wouldn’t – they are bringing The 90’s Arcade Racer to Wii U. RyuNoHadouken ..
