Media Create numbers are the numbers we typically rely on for Japanese hardware sales numbers and they’re a bit late coming in for the last week of the 2013 year. However, we do have numbers released by Famitsu magazine, which tends to be similar to Media Create in showing how well the Japanese market is doing. As always the Nintendo 3DS remains at the top of the chart in both software and hardware, and the Wii U continues its trend in second place, down from 110k units last week to 79k units this week. In terms of software, Nintendo dominates all of the top ten slots with the exception of the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remaster for both PS3 and PS Vita, which claimed the third and fifth spots respectively. Overall, last week shaped up to be a pretty decent haul for Nintendo to close out the 2013 year in Japan. The pc obsolete? never Magnus Eriksson The point is not about the quality of the article. The point is how writers interprets Nintendo situation. And if Nintendo doesnt do something quick everything might be self fulfilling prophecies. mar laguna we have at least 300k in japan this december yaaaaay Ony It’s cool but the XbOne and PS4 aren’t out yet in Japan, and what seems optimistic for Wii U now coult be totally fucked up with the new consoles… … which I hope will not be the case. Leo PS4 rivaling the WiiU in Japan in the long term maybe, but the XBox One? lol Microsoft is a dead horse in Japan since 2002. Magnus Eriksson Would you say that the Wii U is a dead horse in the rest of the world? http://www.dailyfinance.com/2014/01/06/nintendo-is-going-to-miss-its-wii-u-target-by-at-l/ Leo I would say the WiiU is a struggling horse in the rest of the world, but not a dead horse like Microsoft is in Japan. Magnus Eriksson I think struggling is an understatement. If N. doesnt have some very good cards up the sleeves the race is over for Wii U now. But you never know with N. They might have something still. Although Im sceptical. Relick http://www.vgchartz.com It is not accurate, everyone knows that, but it is at least in the general ballpark of figures and it is in one easy to use website which is why I am posting it here. This page shows you that you saying ‘struggling is an understatement’ is on the wrong end of the spectrum. It should be ‘struggling is an overstatement’. Many people, such as yourself have been repeating that the WiiU is dead everywhere although when I look at that the WiiU is selling almost the same as the XO in Europe and just less than half the XO in USA. Since when was that bad? I’d say that is signs of a good product that is selling well. It doesn’t have to be selling the most, or be in second place to be selling well. Now ignoring the 3DS (which is the unopposed powerhouse of this generation) the WiiU is right in the middle of the charts. That’s not amazing, but it certainly isn’t struggling either. Vita vs. 3DS is struggling. WiiU vs. XO (i.e. the week shown on that page is 220k vs. 290k) is not struggling. tl;dr: charts say WiiU is not struggling And to be honest, if your problem is that it isn’t doing well in America, just think about how me and other Britons feel in the UK – where the WiiU has collapsed on its face and is almost non-existant! That is a dead horse. Not global sales though. Magnus Eriksson Not accurate is an understatement. Relick I can agree with that 🙂 Magnus Eriksson Btw, im european not american 🙂 Mercurio2054 and the poor vita in all this years only 6 millions NkoSekirei they got plenty of games coming this year so nintendo will be fine Magnus Eriksson How many games again? Define plenty. NkoSekirei dont be a smart@$$ if u read few articles back where reggie said there whole alot of games coming down the pipeline for 2014 that included the big hitters and he also did say they learned their lesson after the lack of games in 2013. Magnus Eriksson No really, its not plenty, its a few. A few games are on their way as we know. What we heard about is; DKCF, MK8, SSBU, Hyrule Warriors, X and Wii Fit U from first party. Thats six games, one game every second month. Then there is 29 more titles upcoming, most of them are indie games. Thats really not “plenty” in the gaming world. Thats a FEW. Btw. I dont think you are the one to advice me to read. My impression is that your knowledge of this topic is coloured from fanboyism. In this thread alone I have tried to explain some very simple things without one single of you understands the point. Why? Because you dont want to. You want Nintendo to do well, and therefore closing your eyes to the reality – Nintendo are not doing good right now, and most of the fault for that goes to Wii U. I love Nintendo too, but I love the truth more. ScrewAttack A few that we know of for sure- let’s not forget Nintendo’s habit of announcing titles shortly before their release. What’s already known is good but not endless, I agree, but I’m willing to bet there’s plenty more they simply haven’t announced yet. Dare to have a little faith. NB: Nintendo are doing just fine. Their consoles never sold blockbuster numbers before Wii and they did peachy. Reality shock maybe? Numbers were never going to be at the 100 million mark again. Magnus Eriksson Disagree strongly on the last part. NES did console gaming mainstream, and was a real blockbuster in its time. It did something no console manufactorer had done before them. But yes, the 100M level is probably not possible for ANY console to reach today (well, ok China you could change that). I think three consoles are one to many too; and my dream situation would be a renewal of the cooperation between Nintendo and Sony that lead to the first PS (although thats quite unrealistic). ScrewAttack Ah, well, yes that’s very true. I’m interested to see which way China goes, since most countries end up favouring one machine over the others. I’d love that too. One console carrying the best of both, boasting strong offerings in each genre. Even if not that far, cooperation between the two companies in the future would be great. Not impossible I’d have thought, considering I’d say there doesn’t seem to be any animosity between the two anymore. oontz about 8 MUST HAVE AAA titles this year. JuleyJules For sure it’s struggling but the Wii U was at 3.5 million or so in November and has gone to over 5.2 million after December alone. Big games are coming this year so we’ll see this year what happens after Mario Kart, DKC:TF, Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, X and other games come out where Nintendo stands with Wii U. After all it’s important to remember that the 3DS struggled when it was released and now look at it. Wii U could very well be the second console for many people who have a PS4 or Xbox One just as the Wii was last generation. Magnus Eriksson 5.2M? Want to se those numbers please. Ony vgchartz :/ Daniel Gonzalez Certainly isn’t reliable. Wonder when people will realize they aren’t the actual numbers? Lol. I trust NPD. JuleyJules What does NPD (what is that anyway?) give for Wii U sales since launch? I do know that vgchartz (like most other sites) are estimates of sales for all systems. Wayne Beck NPD aren’t real numbers either. The only real numbers can be found in documents released by the company to Investors, usually quarterly. Daniel Gonzalez Well aware of that. I also never said that NPD had the actual numbers, but they are more reliable than VGChartz. Magnus Eriksson yup JuleyJules vgchartz.com shows sales to date since launch of Wii U of 5.2 million units. What did you think it was at this point? Magnus Eriksson 1.5 M JuleyJules It sold more than that in November 2012 alone. I guess you’re dreaming that it fails. 1.5M is Japan sales since launch; approximately 5.2 M is world wide sales since launch. Magnus Eriksson No. Worldwide 1.5 since april the first. 7.5M more to go in three months. JuleyJules At least it wasn’t another 400K like January to April 2013. It’s picking up momentum and should continue as big games are released this year. It did sell over 3 million at launch just as PS4 and Xbox One have done. 2014 is a big year for all 3 as momentum has to be kept up for all systems as we move in to the regular slow period for sales after Christmas. For Wii U there was a very slow period of releases between February and August of last year but that has changed since then. If that continues into this year sales should be more consistent – whatever they are going to be. Jon why did you link an article where it is dead wrong…. and wrong at the time of publishing, they claim the Wii U to miss it target by 6 million…. yet for it to miss it by 6 million, there would only be 3 million Wii U sold when there is already 5 million + as of now… At the time of publishing it, their report is already 2 million off and there is still 3 months to go. It just makes me question the points of an opinion when they can’t even do simple math… Magnus Eriksson nope. YOU are wrong. 9M is a from march to march goal. Rinslowe Yes Magnus you are correct. You’re speaking of the fiscal year. And that’s where the article is wrong, lol. They are simply blowing no’s out of proportion because of the fiscal year technicality. But Iwata is almost certainly meaning lifetime sales – By – 2014’s fiscal year end… Which is of course 5.86m from March 13′ to March 14′ Actually, it’s impossible to tell. There doesn’t seem to be one solid article available from the horses mouth. Hmmm… Mass media confusion? ScrewAttack Not the link I would’ve chosen… Magnus Eriksson No? Why? ScrewAttack Their numbers are fudged, from what I can see. Reliable numbers seem a difficult thing to come by right now. I haven’t seen anything about US or EU sales for some time. 9 million for the fiscal year was always a bit optimistic at this point, but-where are they now? About 5 million?- if they make 6-7 I’d be fairly happy. It’s only up from there with the struggle period behind. EDIT: I could be a bit off, I feel a bit mental right now since my sister brought fresher’s flu back for Christmas. Damn kids lol Magnus Eriksson 1.75 is more close to it. The fiscal year doesnt count in the period between launch and march 2013. It starts at zero in March- April and goes to end of March in 2014. Thats why its so puzzling that Iwata dont want to revise the expectations. Maybe he have some plan, but its very difficult to see what it could be. It might be strategical to keep confident or something, but I dont get it at all. http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/04/24/nintendo-announces-fiscal-year-2013-report-fy-2014-projections/ Wayne Beck It’s very possible, considering how politics work there, that Nintendo was well aware of China’s decision, that came out today, to remove the Console Sales restriction and has a large stock ready to ship to that country. They are the only Console Company well positioned to enter the Chinese Market Immediately. This is certainly a stretch, but I don’t see any other way they could possibly expect to pull off 9 Million sales without doing something as unexpected as releasing Smash Bros. in January. They got a nice spike this Holiday, but I don’t think they did more than 1.5 million worldwide in December. Magnus Eriksson Very good point. Could very well be so. Hope you are right. ScrewAttack Fair does! Yeah that bit right there seems to have been a major problem this last year, at least as far as arguments on message boards are concerned :p Ah, well, you know company heads. Perpetual optimism in the face of adversity provides far better results than admittance to defeat. Not that I think the Wii U is anywhere near such, but you know what I mean. There’s no point trying to understand Nintendo, they do some crazy shit! As a long term fan I’ve simply adapted the following; ignore media uproar, ignore all financial data and any apparent woes, wait for good content and enjoy. Anything else will give you a stroke, and thus far it seems to have all worked out rather dandy. At the end of the day all of this is not worth the blood pressure! It may be pertinent to the hobby as it is these days, but all the number crunching, tales of woe etc are not at all necessary for the hobby itself. I had no idea at all that the N64 and NGC weren’t top of the list back in the day. I had unbelievable fun on both! Must’ve owned 30+ games for each too. That seems like massive success to me, especially for a chap like me who’s so picky about what he buys. I suppose personal experience will always vary. Magnus Eriksson LOL. True. Comment sections are destroying gaming. Things were way better when you had to pick up Nintendo Magazine or Nintendo Power at your local kiosk. 😀 Back then everything was about games, and no concerns about politics and financial stuff (that actually is quite boring to be honest) ScrewAttack I do very much miss those days! Totally agreed 🙂 I recommend not worrying about it all- leave that to Nintendo-, just have a little faith and enjoy what’s coming our way. Us vet Nintendo fans are nothing if not patient right? Magnus Eriksson Lol, yes. But im actually getting more impatient by reading articles like these we are speaking of. It affects one in a very negative way. Everyday I read maybe 5-10 articles about Wii U, and sadly enough only one or two are about games. The rest concerns financial stuff, politics and alot of other crap. Im not blaming others here, because Im probably one of the worst myself. But I would much rather talk about games, on the other hand it drives me crazy to see people applauding things that are bad for Nintendo-as if they were good. I dont think N. is doomed in any way, and a failing Wii U wont be anything worse than an embaressment. It surely not going to be another SEGA. Still it drives me crazy to see people write stuff like; “They are pulling a 3DS here.” or “Nintendomination have begun.”, because no, thats not whats happening here. And like you said before, we dont have to aim for 100M mark, we dont even have to be part of a console war about “whos winning this generation”. Win what? SNES had much better games than Megadrive, but hell Megadrive had some awesome stuff N. lacked too. Mortal Kombat on SEGA was one reason many of my friends got SEGA instead of SNES. Nintendos console end up selling better, but was that reason enough to say its a better console? Of course N. need to have a decent installbase to attract 3rd parties. But it doesnt need to have 100M but maybe half of that, or even less. If the situation is what it is now, then it might end up as an embarrassment, but there is no reason to believe that Nintendo won’t want to change that. So yes patience is a key word. Probably going to happen one way or another. But its not started to happen yet – maybe China will change that. ScrewAttack Well I can’t argue that they’re not a bit overly optimistic, eye-rollingly so in some cases, but I’d much rather be optimistic than expect the worst. I end up skipping a lot of articles here and elsewhere for the reason you’ve stated. It’s boring and I really don’t care about it. I don’t own Nintendo stocks (though looking at their current price and what i expect to happen over the next few months, I may buy a few). The whole “console war” nonsense gets on my tits. It’s not a war, it’s barely a competition. It’s a bunch of nerds shouting insults at each other from under different banners. “My nerd machine sold more than yours” WHOOP-DEE FREAKING DOO. Call back when your balls have dropped. How much did the Gamecube sell? About 22 million? I loved that console and always had lots of fantastic titles to play. As long as Wii U sells that many I’ll be very happy. Hell, the original Xbox sold 24 million. Sales are slowly improving as the catalogue fills out, and this years much-anticipated releases will surely on serve to continue the increase. Sales can only go up, so I’ve no doubt that the Wii U will do just fine over the next four-five years. Magnus Eriksson If Nintendo are getting through their border for next financial year Im quite positive it will have every reason to do better than the Gamecube. But as it is now its reason to break a sweat. I want to see a new Zelda U and a Metroid, and I think Nintendo shouldnt wait to tease with those titles. They need to get the good publicity they earn soon. Good publicity will kick start things, not games per se. Thats one reason I hope these first months will be filled with 1st party, and not slow trickling one-game release every month. This is one reason I thought it was a bad decision to push DKCF back, because its very likely finished already. It should have been here at christmas, that medias could mix their bad-Nintendo-finance-talk with reviews of TWO top-notch quality games. But my guess is that they are running safe here. One new release every month, or every second month along with a bunch of indies. And I think they are doing this because of their experiences with Virtual Console. From a Software financial position this is probably the right thing to do, but Im afraid it goes on behalf of hardware sales. What I mean is that one VC title every week guarantees a larger total sale than many games every week, as more people will go into every game, instead of just the best (if they wanted they could very easy launch all games at once, but then most people would only buy into a handful of their best titles, and ignore the smaller and less popular ones). And that pattern is probably going for retail games too. My guess is that much more people will buy into those single releases when released at a slow pace, making it more benefittal relatively to the existing install base. And its hard to blame them for that. Its not only hardware sales that are part of the equation here, much more important for Nintendo is that people who owns a Wii U buy their games. If every Wii U owner buys Pikmin 3 for example, it still did quite well as it sold above 5M. But the problem is medias fixation on hardware. Success is only measured in hardware as that is the game of Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo on the other hand is the Disney of videogaming, they have IP’s that are just as wellknown as Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse. But they are measured with the same measures as Sony and MS, wich is actually a very wrong thing to do. But Nintendo seems only to realize half of this. They are well aware of the goldmine they have in their IP’s, but they are not realizing that they need media to focus on that instead of hardware sales. Thats the reason they need games. Because when the media focuses on their games they sell more consoles and gain more potential buyers. Thats one problem with slow trickling releases. Another problem is that Nintendo can be a bit TOO innovative. Media thinks that its the pad or the Wii Mote that matters, mostly because of Wii’s success with motion gaming. If Microsoft or Sony had this few games in their first 14-15 months of a new console they would be dead. They could never do what Nintendo does now. In the long run they wont win any console war against Nintendo, not without some really strong IP’s. And they wont get those. But as a gamer its frustrating to watch what Nintendo does now. Because I want to play games. But I cant play as much as I want because of business decisions. So from my egoistic perspective Nintendo is not giving me what I want just now. It will change over time, but as gamers most its hard to be patient 😀 Rinslowe “This is one reason I thought it was a bad decision to push DKCF back, because its very likely finished already. It should have been here at christmas,” I agree, bang on before Christmas or first week of Jan for those common wealth country Jan sales discounts would have really been a good decision for Ninty. Rinslowe “Everyday I read maybe 5-10 articles about Wii U, and sadly enough only one or two are about games. The rest concerns financial stuff, politics and alot of other crap.” I know this sounds like a load of horse sht. And for all intents and purposes it probably is I guess. But it really seems as though while Nintendo’s strategy is focused on the message of “games are paramount and systems are secondary”, the media in the US especially is mounting an all out campaign against Nintendo from a financial standpoint. Crazy really seeing as though Nintendo are in fact in a very healthy financial position. Looking past all the crap about lost “potential earnings” and missed “forecast no’s”, Nintendo is a very healthy company. Wii U success blah, blah, blah. I’ve got a solid understanding of most things related to corporate finance. But really who gives a sht about this stuff? Like you say, I want more games information not media warfare stories of how a financially stable company is supposedly going under or how short sighted investors are pining for Nintendo to go software only. Nintendo hardware is designed with Nintendo games in mind. Why fragment the experience and put it in a box that someone else is dictating all the rules and regulations? Games news please World! And more of it… Rinslowe This is the truest shit I’ve read in a loooong time Magnus. Sorry abut the language but near f-n prophetic IMO. Rinslowe 6 – 6.5m looks likeliest… Maybe, just maybe 7. But 9 would be alternate universe stuff in action. JuleyJules PS4 will sell well in Japan just as the PS3 has but Xbone will not do much. Maybe at first but MS has not sold well there with the 360 in ages. If they’re smart they’ll release it everywhere else long before they attempt Japan. Why bother when historically MS does not have any footing in Japan? Xbone will be no different. Carlos Coronado Xbox doesn’t have a chance in Japan; Japan is all about Sony and Nintendo Daniel Gonzalez Very true. 360 barely hit 2 million in console sales in Japan. That’s horrible. It’s more than likely the Xbox One will have the same fate. starwars360 If happens, Microsoft will possible pull consoles from Asia or stop selling new generation of Xbox after Xbox One will not coming Japan either. Microsoft had said Xbox One will coming Japan later this year even though after Spring or Summer. Seem like too late for Microsoft because Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors and other games for Wii U that already released around Feb to Summer this year as well PS4 releases in Japan by next month. So seem like Xbox One face badly, ugly, weaker and broken arms of sells again like 360 lol ScrewAttack I’m expecting the One to do worse than the 360. The latter was a better console, and the former has that whole “third world” marketing going with it (what I mean is, the way MS has treated Japan as a launch market- their wording in particular was terrible). fireheartis1 Wow they called Japan a 3rd world market. Lol being an American I can say that’s pretty ignorant and foolish too say. Jon I think you should be saying “The PS4 is not out yet in Japan” and just leave the Xbox out of it. Xbox doesn’t sell well… at all in Japan, it wasn’t too long ago where the Xbox360 just sold 1 million consoles in Japan so I doubt the Xbox one will have any kind of influence at all. Daniel Gonzalez Microsoft is better off sticking to North America, Europe, Australia and some parts of Asia. Xbox One is just going to be a laughing stock in Japan again unfortunately. Jon pretty much, NA is where it sells and will probably remain that way with doing decently in other parts. Daniel Gonzalez Indeed. Surprisingly, PS4 is doing far better so far than Xbox One in Europe at the moment. Interesting twist. At least to me. Jon well… I doubt a lot of people are too trusting of Microsoft after they wanted to micromanage your gaming pretty much and provide the best way for the NSA to spy on you. lol Daniel Gonzalez Indeed. Lol. I’m on the fence of ever buying an Xbox One. It claims not to have a “spy cam,” but after what happened at E3, I’m certainly not trusting them. In 5 years, it’ll likely just be PS4 and Wii U for me. ScrewAttack Might as well wait a few years and see how you feel about it’s library then. With any luck they’ll have started panicking and had a price drop by then too, lol oontz It’s already ps4 and wiiu for me… a solid combo for sure. oontz Sony is popular in Europe. Daniel Gonzalez No doubt. Looked back and realized I got the hardware sales for PS3 and 360 mixed up. My mistake. NkoSekirei the only downside with ps4 and xbox one is that their not backwards compatibility and the wii u is the only one that can play older games. Daniel Gonzalez Sony is resolving that with cloud gaming in the second half of 2014. Microsoft on the other hand, hasn’t mentioned anything as of yet on how they are going to go about it. NkoSekirei what im hearing from other ps3 and 360 gamers is that their not going to waste their money on buying games that they alrdy have on their ps3 and 360 which they can just keep their old systems to play them. Daniel Gonzalez There are plenty of games in development that are only for PS4 and Xbox One. At the moment, there are a lot of cross-platform games, that’s a fact. However, as time goes on, things will come to a balance of both. You are only hearing a handful of gamers who feel that way, sales say otherwise my friend. Apparently there are plenty of people who bought them despite what you claim. I think what it comes down to is that fans know that games will come with patience, just as early adopters of Wii U were patient to wait. There is ups and downs to all three consoles. Way I see it, everyone will be satisfied. oontz Well that same logic applies to any virtual console type situation. Nintedward Extremely impressive end to the year in Japan for Wiiu. You would expect the Vita to be selling twice as much as the Wiiu because its a handheld and that’s the current trend in Japan… But the Wiiu sold about twice as much as the Vita in the holidays in Japan which is really surprising! No offence to the Vita, but the Wiiu is definitely starting to get a real footing in Japan and in turn, we should see a lot more Japanese support. Leo “we should see a lot more Japanese support” – yes, and in fact for me thats all that really matters. I love japanese games, way more than western games. Mario Funny thing, me too. oontz The PS4 hasn’t released there yet. Lets wait and see how they compete head to head in that region before cracking open the champagne 😉 Nostalgic_Chaos The 3DS is still selling like a beast. Maybe the Wii U will be like the 3DS in due time. A dark horse, and blow up with sales all of a sudden worldwide, and all of this non sense will be behind us. Will the Wii U pull through strong? I’m dying for these new Wii U games to come out. I just want to get my hands on Smash Bros already, I almost cannot take it! Every time a new Smash Bros is in development, the waiting process is always one of the hardest struggles of my life. Haha. It’s my favourite games series of all time. Ah, then we’ve got Mario Kart, another gem. It will be with us in just a few months. Even though we’ve just had Super Mario 3D world, I still feel like the Wii U is still waiting for it’s REAL games. Mario 3D world is great, but as I’m playing it more now, I’m coming to understand that it’s still really like other mario games I’ve played. I guess the only main difference is the 3D element, which right now is still not enough for me. We want more. We are hungry for the Nintendo of old. The struggle is real. Nintenjoe82 A little off topic but I think I found the most ridiculous Wii U bashing article yet. Not even Michael Pachter would have the front to say this: http://www.spiked-online.com/newsite/article/wii_u_nintendo_goes_the_way_of_the_sega/14480#.Uswo3fRdUqY Nostalgic_Chaos It’s all good. Writers who write with that presumptuous tone are ignorant and are just giving the Wii U that much more media notice, even causing casuals who didn’t know about the Wii U to look it up, gain more curiosity and possibly even make a purchase once they see it’s ridiculous gaming line up for this year 2014. These bogus writers are just creating more advertisement for the console. The Wii U is a dark horse, a bomb, just waiting to blow up in sales like the 3DS did. It just takes the right games library, and the correct marketing scheme, which Nintendo already have in place now. I think we know who is going to have the last laugh. Daniel Gonzalez It’s going to be quite an interesting year in gaming. I look forward to it. Things look promising. Nothing5555 wow the vita sold well last week, just goes to show that if you release anything final fantasy in japan it becomes a system seller. Daniel Gonzalez Vita is selling well mostly due to people buying them alongside their PS4’s. It does give the Vita a second chance and has indeed boost sales for it. Even though games are still lacking, it has gotten better of late. David Trail PS Vita does not lack games. Never did. Daniel Gonzalez It does lack quality games. Perhaps I should have been more clear there. As said, it has gotten better lately, so I expect better games to continue to be released. Magnus Eriksson So do Wii U. More than one year old, and it only got a handful of good games. Of those games there is only one great game (Zelda WW does not count as its a restauration of an old title). Rinslowe I think Zelda counts as a great Wii U game if people want it to, lol. It’s certainly a great Wii U game. But sure – COD Ghosts is that one great game the Wii U just couldn’t live without!!! (This is Magnus I’m conversing with after all, humour is required) >_< oontz “It does lack quality games.” One of the first times I’ll have to disagree with you 🙁 There are amazing, quality games available for the vita. Daniel Gonzalez Well, can’t agree on everything. Lol. However, I did point out that sales overall for hardware and software are getting better of late. I’m not too big on handhelds, but will consider getting it when I decide to buy a PS4 later on. Rinslowe Actually there are in fact some – gems – available now for Vita. Where all the Vita hate comes from is in the fact that it’s still struggling to take off as in compared to 3DS for eg… For some reason people seem intent on kicking the underdog when it’s down these days. ??? And Vita is certainly the underdog of the handheld arena. Flawless Victory It does lack good games, but the Vita is good. Reason It still almost don’t have any games worth playing. I have one and only good playing exp was TearAway. Few other big names bad or meh like killzone or uncharted. oontz If you think playing a near PS3 version of Killzone or Uncharted… in the palms of your hands is “meh” than sir there is no hope for you. Decker Shado Hmm.. It has to be something more than that for this situation, as this is Japanese sales and the PS4 is not out there yet. Daniel Gonzalez I was talking about worldwide sales. Didn’t make it clear. As for something more than the situation, yes, I’m sure there is more to it. There are some games that have boosted sales, but most of them are based on PS4’s sales at this point. That’s how I see it. Nothing5555 Wait this sales chart is only for Japan. Did they already release the PS4 in Japan? Eduardo Viva Nintendo!! David Trail YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doctors Tardis PS4 is about to launch there… so enjoy it while it lasts. I wish more people would give wii u a chance. I love mine. David Trail Wii U > PS4 PS4 only when Uncharted comes out Unchained PS4>PS3>Xbox360>PS2>PS1>ShotInTheFace>WiiU Nintendoro Go Wii U!!! Random12multi We will we will rock u Mario What does Will Smith have to do with the WiiU crocodileman94 What does a rock have to do with the WiiU ScrewAttack Guys…..think about it. Mario …..Oooooohhhhhh!!!! Okay! I get it now! LOL!! RedChu The secret’s right above the picture. Magnus Eriksson wii will wii will rock you. btw, are you hired as a stand in for mr. downvote today? 🙂 ScrewAttack I actually lol’;d :’) Daniel Gonzalez Really? Lol. It’s quite easy to figure out. Norfair20X5 I’m on to you, Daniel… on to you… Daniel Gonzalez Okay. ;P fireheartis1 This is funny but I would have used Dwayne The Rock Johnson as the rock part lol. Lusunup I said this on my very first post On the wii U console 11/18/13 I win 😛 Satoru Iwata Please understand. Nintendo has now moved it’s goal from 9 million Wii U’s to 20 million by the end of the fiscal year. We are that confident in our console. It prints money. As westerners say,”Haters gonna hate.” Thank you for supporting Nintendo. Mario Well, It’s official. The WiiU just pulled a 3DS. oontz Not exactly… it’s turning around but not out of the dark just yet. Mario But it’s getting closer to the light. Ducked Microsoft recently confirmed that the Xbox One has sold over 3 million Sony recently confirmed that the PlayStation 4 has sold 4.2 million Console wars are getting close Leo and tomorrow Sony will say they sold 10M. HYPE HYPE HYPE! This is how Sony works y’all lol Daniel Gonzalez So if Nintendo said they sold 5 million units, then said the next day they sold 5.5, are we to take that as hype too? Lol. Be real dude. All three consoles have their hype. Leo We don’t see Nintendo holding a press conference every week to report for the media that the 3DS is a jugernaut selling machine. This is typical Sony behaviour, the overhype based on daily sales numbers are their specialty. Daniel Gonzalez Of course Nintendo doesn’t hold a press conference. Why would they when their own fanboys can do all the hype work for them? ;P oontz It’s not over hype when it’s factual sales data, idiot. Daniel Gonzalez Exactly. Leo Shoving “factual” data by Sony on a weekly basis is not over hype, okay. oontz A weekly basis? “Previously, Sony announced that 2.1 million consoles had been sold globally as of early December. During a CES keynote, Sony’s Andrew House revealed that more than 4.2 million PlayStation 4 consoles have been sold globally as of December 28, 2013.” Yeah, 2 press conferences stating their sales figures somehow turns into you feeling that Sony is shoving “factual” data on a weekly basis?? Really? You have an interesting perspective, I’ll give you that. Ducked Such a fanboy comment. You can’t deny truth, I wasn’t insulting the Wii U, I was just stating the sales that are legit. Leo Of course i’m a Nintendo fanboy. Hello you are on WiiuDaily for godsake! But either way, the Sony hype bandwagon is a fact, not saying that those numbers are real or not, its the way they alway pursue the media to report big numbers to make them look good. Look at Nintendo, they have a handheld selling like water in the desert but they rarely openly comment their sucess. Its called class, something that Sony clearly lacks. Daniel Gonzalez Apparently something you lack too it seems. Lol. Sony has press conferences over it because they are proud of their success, big or small. What’s the big deal of that? So it’s wrong to be proud of your product? You also admit to being a fanboy, so it’s clear that you will say anything to make Nintendo look better than the competition. That’s typical. However, I don’t play that part, as I prefer giving credit to all three when it’s due. Sony “bandwagon” isn’t a fact, but it is your opinion that you’re entitled to. Fact is, Sony’s PS4 and Vita are doing much better, and as any fan of gaming, I wish them well in maintaining good sales, as well as Nintendo. That’s what is called true class. ;P Leo LOL you are talking as if i said YOU are the one without class. Give me a break, isn’t my post clear enough that IN MY OPINION Sony lacks class by shoving numbers down our throats on a weekly bases just for the sake of “look good”? And please, take Vita out of that equation, it’s just embarrassing. Daniel Gonzalez “LOL you are talking as if i said YOU are the one without class. Give me a break, isn’t my post clear enough that IN MY OPINION Sony lacks class by shoving numbers down our throats on a weekly bases just for the sake of “look good”? And please, take Vita out of that equation, it’s just embarrassing.” Only thing that is embarrassing is your blind fanboyism. Yes, we get it, everyone on here should be make claims and pass them off as facts. As Ducked pointed out, it’s well noted already. Despite that it may be your opinion, it’s still considered fanboyish. Enjoy that silly way of thinking. ;P Leo Independently of our personal opinions on the subject (what is considered class for you or for me), the Sony HYPE bandwagon is a fact, not a matter of opinion. Any soccer mum can see that the entire western media are delighted with numbers provided by Sony on a daily basis and hyping the console to death, this is a fact. Do i think that expose numbers weekly is class? No, i certainly don’t, but this is just my opinion which you clearly disagree. Ducked So everyone on Wii U daily should be a blind fanboy? Noted. Leo You certainly will not see me on Sony fansites arguing with Sony fanboys, unlike they usually do on Nintendo sites. oontz Because they’d school your fanboy A$$! Leo Oh i guess i hit a nerve. oontz ha ha, um no. It’s kinda hard to take you seriously, to be honest. oontz LOL, IT DOES LOOK GOOD! SONY sold 4.2 million consoles just in 2013 and they haven’t even launched in every region yet, most notably JAPAN! Let’s see the Wiiu has been available, globally for almost 14 months and it’s sitting at around 5 million units sold. Funny enough… here is a press release quote from Nintendo in December 2012 (just one of many). ““While the Wii launch established new benchmarks in the United States, Wii U has surpassed its predecessor in perhaps the most important category: revenue generation,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing.” Yep they rarely openly comment on their success 😉 Daniel Gonzalez Can’t reason with fanboys anywhere. Gotta take off their blindfold first. ;P oontz some of them have those blindfolds super glued to their faces though… makes having a mature debate about Nintendo almost impossible. Very frustrating. Daniel Gonzalez Know the feeling. Lol. I think after they ignore valid points at least twice, it’s a clear indicator that they can’t be reasoned with and will continue to ignore anything that is factual. They’re always under the impression that opinions and their “facts” are one in the same. Can’t say I’ve ever gotten frustrated with a fanboy before, I’d have to take them seriously first. I can’t help but be amused to read the crazy stuff they throw into a post. Rinslowe Well, You’ll never have to worry about that with me around mate… Leo Replying to anyone “they’d school your fanboy A$$!” or calling people on message boards “idiots” its not what i would call “mature debate”. But carry on with your “mature arguments”. oontz ha ha, if you’re being an idiot… I’m going to call you on being an idiot. Someone that spouts off opinions, as fact when in actuality they’ve done no such research to confirm such facts… is an idiot. This does make having a mature debate a difficult thing. There are many users on here who converse and discuss things logically, back and forth, and look at things from all sides. You are not one of them. Leo I could care less what you think about me or anyone else, this is a message board, not kindergarten. You react like a typical sony fanboy over agressive on a Nintendo site. There is really no way this discussion can be “mature” with people like you. oontz Oddly enough I am a Huge fan of Nintendo, been a loyal supporter of their consoles every generation, since day one. That doesn’t mean I am unrealistic when it comes to the world of gaming. I enjoy games regardless of platform or developer. What I can’t understand is when people suffer from some sort of “fanboy tunnel vision” and are unable to, or even willing to accept the truth and facts presented to them. Keep in mind I am not speaking about JUST Nintendo fanboys. every platform has them. You just fall into the Nintendo Fanboy category. oontz Ha ha, yet ironically you are commenting on an article that is doing exactly that. Too funny. David Byrad I asked a guy at my school whether he liked hard games, realistic games, or innovative games best. He asked “Who would want a hard game?” He also said he loved realistic games, but that’s beside the point. ETeach I would want a hard game. There’s enough easy games out there already 😛 David Byrad Personally, I am only looking forward to XBONE because of Halo, Viva Pinata and Banjo Kazooie. While those games are enough to garner me paying 250$ for an XBONE, compare that to Wii U. WWHD, W101, P3, DKC:TF, MK8,SSB4, LOZ U, NL, HW and much more are all some of the games I am/was most exited for this gen. ETeach Have new Viva Pinata and Banjo games been announced? Because that would be pretty cool. David Byrad Rareware said they have some ideas of ways to use Kinect on those games, nothing concrete but at least there are ideas out there ETeach That’s kinda cool I guess. I wish they’d go back to basics with banjo, but it doesn’t sound like that’s gonna happen. David Byrad Okay, who’s the nitwit who downvoted my post JUST because it gave XBONE a hint of appreciation??? oontz You are not to speak of ANY other gaming platform on this site or you will be flamed to death 😉 Daniel Gonzalez That’s certainly true most of the time. Lol. Rinslowe That comment panders to another crowd on Wii U Daily, which is just as bad as the crowd that thinks Nintendo does no wrong, IMO. Flair for the melodramatic? oontz I was aiming for more sarcasm then melodrama… to be fair. That’s also why I added my one-wink emoticon. Ha ha Rinslowe That’s why I upvoted you. Based on being equally fair. 🙂 Daniel Gonzalez You’re on a website that covers Nintendo’s Wii U. It’s easy to figure out. 😛 Rinslowe Halo’s one of those franchises I’ll buy a system for. Without considering any other factor. That’s why even though I have no interest in the Xbox One right now in the slightest. I’ll be buying one the day that game hits the shelves… Ever since the first one, Halo has been one of my favourite gaming experiences and to me, there hasn’t ever been a bad Halo experience. Being a complete Sci Fi nut probably helps in that department. Same goes for Mass Effect. Alexander Kleinwechter I finally got Legend of zelda A link between worlds and Super mario 3D world, I already completed zelda, and it was an amazing game, one of the best games i ever played, im currently playin super mario 3d world now, and maybe it will even top zelda, mario 3d world is abosuletely amazing, i really notice how good the music is and the details in the game, and i havent expereinced a single annoying moment in mario 3d world. Its pure fun, and thats what its supposed to be. Nintendo made a great 2013 for me, with those amazing games: Thank you nintendo 🙂 Mendoza Manuel Nice to see the Playstation 5 is doing well too Daniel Gonzalez I think you mean PS4. Unless that was somehow a joke or typo. Mendoza Manuel Joke to the typo. http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/540/519/cdc.png Tom Greene Nintendo …release Majoras Mask for the 3ds and Metroid Prime 4( done by retro studios of course ) for Wiiu like sooner that later….CRUSH Microsuck!!!! Now!!!! DragonSilths Has anything passed the 3DS in the past year? Its unstoppable. Agent721 Are the annual totals available??…the link is very hard to read with its terrible formatting. Anyone got that info? Rinslowe 3DS is still every bit the monster! It’s scary. Wii U no’s still above 50k? Um, yeah – that’s a trend… oontz “3DS is still every bit the monster! It’s scary.” It is a beast. I am interested to see what Nintendo does to top it with their next handheld… as mobile devices gain ground, it’ll be interesting to see how many generations Nintendo can remain king of the handhelds. Rinslowe If anything they could very well consolidate their two spheres into one. A truly mobile console. The tech is all there already. Maybe just a disc drive connected to the monitor or all digital. Either way. Everything streamed from the controller/ console to a monitor of choice via a wireless connector to USB or HDMI. Battery advancements are happening as we speak. In five years time given the available components they’d have available this could be feasible financially I think and provide an experience perhaps slightly better than current gen, in terms of power. And a natural progression for Nintendo’s strengths… But it’s hard to predict how they’ll go these day’s. So very unpredictable. Josie the Sketcher So PS4 is going to surpass the Wii U. That’s good in a way because when it does pass Wii U (which it probably has by now 🙁 ), Nintendo will go full force to get back in the game. Honestly I don’t know why people are so crazy about the PS4 as it’s expensive and the games are lacking. Daniel Gonzalez Well that’s simple. Because they know that games will come and it’s their console of choice. It doesn’t lack games, I think you’re meaning it lacks the big games. It’s also new to the market. It’s as simple as consoles like PS4 and Xbox One will have games that the Wii U won’t, just as Wii U has certain games that the others won’t. It simply comes down to preference. $400 isn’t a lot of money for what it offers, especially when it’s gaming library gets bigger. The investment is worth it in the long run. Least to me. ;P oontz LOL, $399usd for a 5 year investment… works out to about .22 cents a day. Do you think thats expensive for 5 years of entertainment? Cause it’s not. Michael Ngo Glad to see a country with good tastes and buy something that offers good fantasy games; not ultra realism Marcel Pérez You can’t define what is good taste or not they’re just different from people in the US. Because I love GTA and Assasins but I also love Final Fantasy and Animal Crossing manowaffles When will we hear word of localization of MH4? I need more Monsters to Hunt! Justin Gray Who wants a port of a 3DS game? Dude I want a bad-to-the-bone MH game optimized for the Wii U! manowaffles It would be nice, but I will take Monster Hunter in nearly any form. MH3U has been my #1 played game for 7 out of the past 10 months. It was knocked to #2 by Rayman for September, Zelda in October, and Super Mario 3D World in December. oontz “Nintendo dominates all of the top ten slots with the exception of the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD remaster for both PS3 and PS Vita, which claimed the third and fifth spots respectively” So they don’t dominate ALL of the top ten slots? You could say “most” or “almost all” just a suggestion. Daniel Gonzalez It really doesn’t make sense to say it dominates all slots and then say “with the exception” in the same sentence. Just defeats the whole entire point. Good eye. oontz Yep, contradicting your statement, within the same statement…. priceless. Old School Nice! Where are the PS4 and Xbox 1 sales though??? InterTreble This kind of news tell we were right when we forecasted a great performance of Wii U under Christmas. This was evident, since Wii U is the only next gen with GAMES at now, lot of GAMES with a very high percentage of evaluation. A very bad day for trolls and hater, and for who insulted us just beacuse we were telling the truth about Wii U and videogames in general: software sells hardware, killer apps are fundamental. Super Mario 3D World is definitely the most “next gen” game ever released so far, and these data confirm people want GAMES, not ads, not stupid console wars. GAMES. Things that Nintendo can do very very well. oontz “videogames in general: software sells hardware, killer apps are fundamental.” So 4.2 million people bought a PS4 because it has no software? Your argument is a bit flawed. “Super Mario 3D World is definitely the most “next gen” game ever released so far” This is just your opinion. It’s a great game, I own it and love it… but I’m not sure what guidelines you’re using to define it as “definitely the most “next gen” game ever released so far” seeing as there are again 4.2 million consumers who don’t agree with you. InterTreble You consider 4,2 milion sales at D1 as a proof of what? Have you ever heard about the word “early adopters”? Do you know they will *always* buy everything at D1, even if it costs twice the price of tomorrow, when it really deserve to be bought? LOL. This is the world of electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, etc) not only the videogame’s one. The numbers you are reporting are more an index of very good marketing, nothing else. My comment was about quality, something so different, and based on the news contents. Your comment is OT and, in the end, a fail. As always. oontz Again your argument is flawed, seeing as the exact same points you’re trying to make apply directly to the wiiu and its launch as well. Not sure exactly what you are trying to say. “Do you know they will *always* buy everything at D1, even if it costs twice the price of tomorrow, when it really deserve to be bought?” So are you saying that no-one should’ve bought a wiiu at launch because it didn’t deserve to be bought? “The numbers you are reporting are more an index of very good marketing, nothing else. My comment was about quality, something so different” So does this also apply to the wiiu in your opinion? “Your comment is OT and, in the end, a fail. As always.” I don’t know what what acronym you’re using with “OT” and how exactly is MY comment a fail? I was simply pointing out the flaws in your comment. It seems you’re the one failing. InterTreble It’s very nice to notice how you fanboys (or better, Nintendo haters) are able to revert all the things. LOL. OT is Over Thread. If you are not able to search the Internet, I’m sure you are not able to distinguish a plain comment like mine from the one of a troll like your friend Daniel’s. I’ll repeat, I’m enjoying my games on Wii U, as well as on my Xbox 360, PC, tablet, smatphone… I don’t care about the platform like you do, I only care about GAMES, and Nintendo has the best line up NOW as far as next gen consoles are concerned. Then I only defended my forecasting of a good performance of Nintendo on Christmas, since I said GAMES were satisfying. I was right when you and your friend only insulted me. What in the hell is difficult to understand? This article is the symbol of yours and Daniel’s fail. Period and have a nice life you too. I won’t waste my time with you two any more. oontz Wow, you’re special. You still haven’t answered any of my questions above. Do the points you’re trying to make also apply to the wiiu’s launch and sales numbers? Truth is tough to handle some times… it’s okay. Oh… by the way. I have bought every Nintendo system at launch since the SNES. So that MUST make me a Nintendo Hater. Daniel Gonzalez Any time a commenter fails to answer valid questions, it spells out diehard fanboy. Anyone who says fail so much in their comments obviously had their pride hurt and resort to any means necessary and lash out in hate, kinda like this fellow. I think by far, he’s the biggest fanboy on this site. Far as I can tell anyways. Judging by his comment to upvote ratio, he probably isn’t too popular amongst the disqus community.;P Daniel Gonzalez “smatphone…” “Period and have a nice life you too.” Speaking of fails, you may wanna proofread before commenting. It maybe also a good idea not to pound your fingers into the keys on your keyboard in rage. “It’s very nice to notice how you fanboys (or better, Nintendo haters) are able to revert all the things.” You’re right, you do revert to any means to help strengthen your flawed argument and show apparent anger. How’s that working for you again? Especially using the typical fanboy mentality that if people bring up valid points, they must be Nintendo haters. That’s classic. ;P “Period and have a nice life you too. I won’t waste my time with you two any more.” I think we’ve heard that before. Something tells me we’ll be hearing from you at some point again. ;P InterTreble Mr Wrong, you told me Nintendo wouldn’t have had a good performance during Christmas, as I forecasted. You offended me when I expressed my opinion just beacuse it was different from yours. Now things went exactly as I said, so YOU HAVE LOST. Learn the lesson. You are not happy with news like this one, it’s evident… 😉 Your problem, not mine. Happy quoting, and happy hating. At least read what people and the article say… What a troll… By Mr Wrong… or do you prefer Mr Fail? LOL Daniel Gonzalez “Mr Wrong, you told me Nintendo wouldn’t have had a good performance during Christmas, as I forecasted.” Nah, I said we’ll see how Christmas goes, you just like putting words into peoples mouths to convince people you are right. Tsk tsk. ;P “You offended me when I expressed my opinion just beacuse it was different from yours.” Nah, I gave you my opinion of your opinion. You just took it the wrong way and got sensitive about it. 🙂 .” At least read what people and the article say… What a troll… By Mr Wrong… or do you prefer Mr Fail? LOL” Apparently you don’t read what others have to say and ignore valid points. Such as claiming that PS4 owners are early adopters, didn’t Wii U have 3 million early adopters? Are you going to continue to ignore that fact? This is how we know you’re so full of yourself. Might help to take the blindfold off. ;P “What a troll… By Mr Wrong… or do you prefer Mr Fail? LOL” Laughing at you own fail? Cause you fail to stick to your words and continue to comment. It does amuse me. ;P InterTreble Too long comment, mr Wrong, too long… Look at this: http://wiiudaily.com/2014/01/super-mario-3d-world-gdc/ This is the game that made Wii U sell A LOT of consoles. As I told you. You have lost, mr Fail! LOL Daniel Gonzalez “This is the game that made Wii U sell A LOT of consoles. As I told you. You have lost, mr Fail! LOL” One game won’t hold up in the long run my friend. Quite sure you know that. Again, I never denied the games success, but you do deny that the 3 million Wii U’s during it’s launch period, was early adopters. So yes, I do agree, you fail big time and miss the point as usual. You’re trying too hard poor guy. Don’t be so upset that people don’t share your opinion. ;P Daniel Gonzalez Correction, that’s all Nintendo can do very well. It’s cool if you like Super Mario 3D World, but unfortunately for you, you’re basing everything on opinion alone and not actual facts. What is next gen or the best, is always subjective, not objective. As oontz said, 4.2 million consumers aren’t in agreement with you. If they did, they wouldn’t be buying PS4’s and Xbox One’s. PS4 and Xbox One are new to the market and a chunk of better games takes time to accumlate. Lol. Surely, you must know that. If not, then you come off as a fanboy. ;P InterTreble Again Gonzales, you was wrong when you insulted me for my English, without listening the sense of my words. And you are still wrong since you cannot even read the title of the news. You cannot admit I was right when I told you to wait for Christmas sales, and you offended in your beautiful English. Correction, that’s all you can do. Daniel Gonzalez “Again Gonzales, you was wrong when you insulted me for my English, without listening the sense of my words.” Only thing I sense in your words is your obvious fanboyism. Lol. “And you are still wrong since you cannot even read the title of the news.” I read the news just fine, does that mean that I should worship Nintendo because you do? Lol. I’ll quote oontz again since you clearly seem to miss valid points. “video games in general: software sells hardware, killer apps are fundamental.” So 4.2 million people bought a PS4 because it has no software? Your argument is a bit flawed.” Basically you’re saying that you need software to sell hardware. So, are you saying that people bought a PS4 with no software? Get real my friend. People who buy those consoles certainly are buying it for the games, just as they are for the Wii U. Again, you are obviously a fanboy. Are you going to deny that you aren’t? Lol. “You cannot admit I was right when I told you to wait for Christmas sales, and you offended in your beautiful English. Correction, that’s all you can do.” I never once doubted the Wii U wouldn’t have a good holiday. Lol. The most I ever said was that we’ll see how the holidays go, so there is no need for me to admit something that I never denied. Don’t be so upset that I speak English fluently and comprehend it better than you. There’s nothing wrong with not being a native speaker, you just took offense that I questioned your comprehension of it. Sounds like sour grapes to me. InterTreble Too long comment, you are obviously very nervous, mr Wrong. Take care and read the phrase ” Nintendo continues to dominate the top of the Japanese sales charts”. This is what you can’t stand, not me. Nintendo is your obsession, for me is just a support for entertainment. That’s the difference. Have fun as we do, instead of talking no sense. Daniel Gonzalez Most of the comment was me quoting your flawed statements, so yes, it’s bound to be long, especially when I have to pick apart your arguments. :p You seem nervous and go AWOL when someone completely disagrees with you. We are here to speak our opinions, correct? So how is that not talking sense? You’re not making any sense at all. So yes, I do question your intelligence as it shows that you’re missing all the valid points of an argument. We can actually get somewhere, when you take off the blindfold. Lol. Only person here who is upset is you since you are resorting to obvious insults while I’m here talking calmly to you. So yes, you clearly aren’t too bright. I do love one quote of yours. “You consider 4,2 milion sales at D1 as a proof of what? Have you ever heard about the word “early adopters”?” Aren’t those 3 million who bought a Wii U during the launch period early adopters? Lol. You’re not making sense at all. So I don’t think you’re in any position to talk about people not making sense. We get that Nintendo is doing so well in Japan, however, that’s just one region, not worldwide. Also take into account, that PS4 isn’t in that region until February, so that can certainly change. I get that you’re very passionate about Nintendo, but fanboyism certainly overrides your common sense. That’s never a good thing. Being humble will take you a long way. You should try it. Now go on and talk about how “nervous” I am due to a long comment. Not my problem you’re not as social as I am. I look forward to your next silly comment. ;P Blue Hernandez Now now get a room you two, nobody really cares. Daniel Gonzalez Perhaps nobody cares, but apparently you do enough to respond just to say so. Nah, I have my own apartment that’s quite cozy, but thanks for the advice. InterTreble If I am a fanboy for you, you are saying the author of the article is a fanboy since I told exactly the same things. I just remarked I forecasted them one mounth ago, when you only offended me saying that I was dreaming and writing in a bad English. Take your own responsibilities Mr Wrong. If I were you I would fell a bit ashamed. I won’t reply any more too long and too useless comment. You were WRONG, and this article is a proof. Period and have a nice life. Daniel Gonzalez No reason to feel upset because someone spots your flaws in each of your statements. Yes, you are a fanboy to me, and always will be until proven otherwise. You totally ignored the facts that were presented to you. This is how I can tell you’re an obvious fanboy. Lol. If you can’t handle my opinions or anyone else against you, then discussions aren’t for you. The article only proves that Nintendo is doing well, not to glorify them. That’s your job, and you proved my point quite well. It’s useless of you to even try to argue against it, so nice to see you give it up. Thank you, I will have a nice life with the one I already have now. Bye bye now. ;P InterTreble And you are a troll to me, and not only to me. You always repeat the same bla bla bla… You feel your opinions as the Truth. Lots of users told you the same. I always reply and destroy your arguments, but you don’t listen, you pretend not to understand. The problem is yours. You offended me since I forecasted a nice performance of Wii U on Christmas. Now facts tell I was right and you are wrong. Understood? Which part of the sentence is not clear to you, I really don’t know. You have lost, mr Wrong. Accept it, you may grow up in this way… 😉 Adios Daniel Gonzalez “You always repeat the same bla bla bla… ” Isn’t that what you’re doing right now with every response? I thought as much. I give you the proper response back to your flawed statements each time. 😉 “I won’t reply any more too long and too useless comment.” Thought you were done with my “useless” comment? ;P It isn’t so useless if you can’t help but respond again to try to defend your broken pride, let alone try to pass everything off as trolling because you can’t handle when people point out your ignorance. This proves you can’t handle it and will continue to try to win an argument that you lost already. It’s cute that you keep trying though. Adios silly man. 😉 InterTreble Thi is the only thing you can do, offending… Learn how to be in a social community, and then learn something about videogame. Facepalm… 😉 Daniel Gonzalez Awwh…still upset? Again Treble, I have to quote you again. “I won’t reply any more too long and too useless comment” For someone who claims he is done with “useless comments,” you can’t seem to learn to ignore too well. That means that you are trying hard to defend yourself and your broken pride. If you weren’t,then you wouldn’t need to respond and you’d stick to your word. Should practice what you preach. ;P InterTreble LOL. Ok, you are not a troll, you are a clown! Believe me, I have never known anyone more stupid and silly than you. I’m not offending, uh? LOL. Really… bye bye, mr Wrong. You have lost!!! :))) Daniel Gonzalez Hmm…let’s see here. Calling someone a troll who doesn’t agree with you. Fails to answer the simplest of questions. Pot calling the kettle black, obviously offended and acts out in apparent rage. Uses the “LOL” often in his comments. Uses the words Mr Wrong and has a hard time accepting there was nothing to lose but his common sense. You’re right, you are certainly a clown. For once, I agree with you on something. ;P InterTreble Am I a clown? I wrote “you are”. Have you studied verbs at school? LOL! And you speak English very well… LOL again! If you cannot even understand your native language, why you still talk no sense about videogames?! Perhaps because you don’t know the stupid things you write… LOL, again and again (I told you are a clown, you make me laugh). I will not read electronic rubbish any more, i.e. what you always write, mr Wrong. It’s no use to continue talking to a troll. A destroyed troll, indeed! 😀 “Nintendo dominates”. Contrarily to your offences to who predicted this dominance. The title of the article says you have failed. Push it in your brain, if you have any! 😀 Daniel Gonzalez “LOL, again and again (I told you are a clown, you make me laugh). I will not read electronic rubbish any more, i.e. what you always write, mr Wrong.” For someone who claims that I don’t understand my own language, you fail to understand the concept of keeping your own word. That is certainly the biggest of your fails thus far and most amusing one. If my words mean nothing to you and you won’t bother to reply back, then why do you keep responding? It’s simple really, your pride is hurt. Am I right, Mr. Wrong? I’d say so. Oh but don’t stop really Treble, it’s quite fun to read to your sour grape ramblings. You’re certainly aren’t in any position to question anyone’s intelligence. ;P LightupmyLife Don’t be a fool. Let it go man. No use arguing over the internet. If he feels he won, then let him have his personal victory. The better man is the one who walks away from petty situations. LightupmyLife I think you and Daniel waste time going back and fourth with these crazy antics. Though, I do have to agree with Daniel in some areas. Such as, if you feel that you have won the argument, then why do you continue to rant on? It just appears that you don’t feel victory is enough or have broken pride, as Daniel mentioned a few times already to you. It doesn’t matter who was wrong here. In my opinion, you are both acting like fools and should just let it go and move along. Or better yet, call it a truce. InterTreble Daniel always refuses to admit he was wrong and continues to offend, this is why i repeat this. I totally agree it is a waste of time, but the truth is he was wrong, if you agree or not. Rinslowe Lol. Everything IN the comment section is an opinion. Why bash people for what you believe is your right? Daniel Gonzalez Exactly. As I am giving him my honest opinion of his opinion. It’s a never ending cycle. If I see a comment that goes as far as fanboyism, then it’s likely I’m going to respond to it and point out the flaws. I agree with oontz on that. You know how I am,so why bother to respond to the obvious? Also, I never bashed the guy, it’s clear that he tried to bash me for not agreeing with him and he missed the valid points. Lol. Rinslowe I can’t see any comment above his… Daniel Gonzalez I suggest looking below. Seeing as the one you see is his first. In either case, you’ll find it one way or another by exploring the comment section. Rinslowe I think there’s been a technical change in the local disqus for Wii U Daily. Am I right? I don’t have anything else for that guy other than whats above yours… Edit: Some seem to be restored… Hmm… Mark V = 5 IV = 4 Graham Gillman Welcome to 2014 bitches!
