Nintendo has finally sent out a press release confirming information about the Wolf Link amiibo, after translations of Famitsu information were leaked. Most of the information translated from the Famitsu magazine was correct. The press release mentioned that the Twilight Princess HD bundle will be the only way to obtain the Wolf Link amiibo. There will be no separate figure available for those who purchase the digital version of the game. The Wolf Link figure opens a new area called the Cave of Shadows, which is a new bonus dungeon for the game. Once complete, players can save their remaining hearts to the Wolf Link amiibo, and then use those hearts inside the Cave of Shadows to replenish energy. Once the cave is complete, hearts can be saved again for players who want to try and beat their records. The press release said more details about this functionality will be released in the future. The press release also confirmed that other amiibo will work with the game, including Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Sheik, and Ganondorf. These amiibo will work as replenishers for hearts, arrows, and in the case of Ganondorf, he will double the damage against Link. Additionally, the Wolf Link amiibo will be compatible with Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends. Now that we know the bundle will be the only way to get the amiibo, will you be purchasing a physical copy of the game? local_offer amiibo Nintendo The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD wii u stars Further Reading Miyamoto dismisses the Wii U as a “nece Zelda: Breath of the Wild gets 2 new amiibo 6 reasons to grab a Nintendo Switch before March 6 reasons to skip the Nintendo Switch for now Nintendo Switch Amazon Pre-Order Watch the Nintendo Switch reveal live!
