More details about the release of Hyrule Warriors in Japan has been released, including the fact that three different versions of the game will be available at launch. We knew about the standard edition, premium edition, and treasure box editions a few weeks ago, but we didn’t know what would be contained within them aside from the Triforce alarm clock and treasure box. Each box has different costume codes. Here’s the full details: Standard Edition – comes with a download code for courage/bravery/valour costume set. Premium Edition – includes courage-themed set as well as a wisdom-themed set, for six total outfits. Treasure Box Edition – includes both courage and wisdom-themed sets, as well as two Power costumes. This edition is only available on Amazon.jp or Tecmo Koei’s Gamecity website in Japan. No details about special editions have been mentioned for Hyrule Warriors outside of Japan. Do you want a treasure box edition so you can play as Link and Zelda from Twilight Princess? local_offer hyrule warriors Nintendo Tecmo Koei wii u stars Further Reading F-Zero X gets updated on Wii U to fix control New Zelda Breath of the Wild trailer and game Super Mario Maker Wii U vs 3DS comparison (vi Get Ocarina of Time on 3DS for only $14 New teaser site for Zelda: Breath of the Wild released How to track NES Classic Mini stock in time for Christmas David Yes! I want this in the states too! In fact! I want this for everybody! Sdudyoy I’m glad this is coming, but I kinda lost interest in this game. Ducked How come? Sdudyoy I don’t really know, at first I was excited, but the more I see of this game, the less I want it, but I think it’s because I’m just not interested in Dynasty warriors Ducked Opposite for me, I didn’t have much interest at first, but the two player co-op, multiple playable characters, really interests me. I’m not crazy about Dynasty Warriors so I see your point. The gameplay does look like it will get very repetitive after a while, all hack and slash games do. Plus this is a game that really could have used online. I’d still recommend you pick it up, it’s one of the only three games on the Wii U that will be coming out this year. (Bayonetta 2 and Smash) LevenThumps Sonic Boom and Captain Toad are also coming to Wii U this year. Ducked A new Sonic game , and it’s based off a TV show…I wouldn’t expect much from that. Toad’s Treasure Tracker is basically a mini game, so yeah . Joseph Oliveira What TV Show? Ducked Sonic Boom, a upcoming tv show on Cartoon Network Jonathan Robitaille Captain Toad looks so good. Much more than just a mini game. I have a feeling it will be a full fledged must own 1st party game added to Nintendo’s library. Ryushi Dammit. Another reason to envy Japan. palomino blue They’re really putting as lot of eggs in this basket for japan. Hopefully it will fire up sales. Rinslowe Looks like it should do alright huh. Ducked Japan gets all the good stuff, we get delayed leftovers. Squid You can do agatha as well. DJKeens I like the idea of the DLC but I don’t like when they pack it in a premium pack and don’t put it on the eshop. Like I don’t want a premium pack but I’d buy the DLC separately if they were available. Would rather pay 65 or around that vs 100 bucks just to get a music box or clock or whatever. Pedro Gomez OMG Zelda looks gorgeous. DavidMCano1 Opposite for me, I didn’t have much interest at first, but the two player co-op, multiple playable characters, really interests me. I’m not crazy about Dynasty Warriors so I see your point. http://to.ly/zX0T Rinslowe Yep. A little bit of TP never hurt anyone… Jonathan Robitaille I never got a chance to beat TP. might have to revisit someday. I really didn’t like SS. Loved WindWakerHD and never played MM or OOT. What’s your favorite? WarioForever My advice, beat OoT and TP. Sylux Yup, a bit of TP is always good. We want it in the west too. Gabe Chorley DLC sucks for the consumer :/ Joseph Oliveira Depends if it’s free or not. jjbredesen And this ladies and gentlemen is why i hate region lock! Thomas Vienna Oh no… here we go… DLC announced long before the game releases that has no reason not to be in the original game. Nintendo’s getting a little too comfortable with this. Mr Ninty there are many many more worse exemples of DLC. almost every game nowadays(mostly shooters) have day-one dlc or season-pases. a good exemple is gears of war judgement it only went with 4maps and 2 or 3 modus (and still no horde). in my opinion nintendo needs to realese more(any) dlc for mk8, mario world and some other games. but i will off course never justify day-one dlc or pre-launch-dlc-talk Jonathan Robitaille I think he is referring to how fanboys use to defend Nintendo using the ‘at least we don’t use DLC’ when arguing with others. Truth is, they really haven’t until recently. When they have (NSLU and Pikmin 3) were amazing values so if they are going to continue to offer that value then keep it up. Different incentives like outfits and collectibles aren’t really the same thing imho Justin Thomas McGowan Could care less about anything twilight princess themed but REALLY want all of the goodies in the treasure box!!!! Please bring it to the U.S. Nintendo???? WarioForever Are you saying TP is a bad Zelda game? Cause then you’re wrong. Justin Thomas McGowan Actually I kind of hate Toilet Princess. Worst Zelda game by far. And no I’m not wrong, it’s my opinion and I basically worship Zelda. So I can think one of them sucks Leo This game is on the top of my list! Joseph Oliveira Nothing like a DLC already being talk about before the game gets released. Sonic 2099 The Hedgehog LOVE IT!! Kieran Ryan of course they do. Tecmo koei always put japan first before thinking about westerners. You literately need to BEG them to see fixes in the dynasty warriors PC port but japan players need only give a tap on their shoulder and all fixes would be made. WarioForever Sooooooo, since Hyrule Warriors is coming out, does that mean that we won’t get a main but darker Zelda for more than a decade?!
