Nintendo will have a massive presence at PAX Prime in Seattle this year, with several games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS being playable by attendees. Several events are being scheduled as well, so if you’ll be going to PAX Prime this year you may want to check out the Nintendo booth to see if there’s anything you want to participate in. PAX Prime is scheduled from August 29 to September 1 in Seattle at the Washington State Convention center.

#SmashBash – Nintendo is taking it to the streets for Nintendo 3DS fans, setting up locations around Seattle for everyone in the city to have a chance to play the new Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo’s social media channels will announce the location and time of these events, so keep an eye out there.

Hyrule Warriors Event – This event takes place after the main floor for PAX has shut down on Saturday, August 30. Hosted at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel at 515 Madison Street, from 7pm to 10pm, those who attend will be able to play the upcoming game. A PAX badge is not needed and the event is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who come dressed in a cosplay from The Legend of Zelda series will be given priority access in order to try the game.

Here’s what Nintendo will have on hand at their booth for fans to enjoy.

  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Hyrule Warriors
  • Bayonetta 2

    • Rinslowe

They still have a way to go yet. But most likely localisation has them busy bees right now…

  • Coffee

Captain toad treasure tracker is one of my top Wii u games I’m looking forward to. It goes like this for me

    2. Treasure tracker

    1. Bayonetta 2

I have a backlog of Wii and Wii u games to buy so my lack of interest on smash bros and hyrule warriors doesn’t mean much.

It’s a shame Nintendo isn’t using this time to show off Splatoon, with it coming in the first half of next year. It must be too early in development.

    • D.M.T #LesnarConqueredCena

Nintendo showed off Splatoon at Gamescom dude.

      • Esa Linna

I played Splatoon with 7 other players at Gamescom. I was skeptical at first but not anymore, it’s a fun game!

  • Petri

Release that damn Bayonetta demo on eShop, I cant be traveling all over the world to play it…

    • Not long too long to wait until release now. Can’t wait!

      • Petri

It has already felt like eternity.
And still have to wait at least 2 months.

    • Rinslowe

      Well said!

  • Madmagican

I wonder if any new news will come out of Pax…

    • Will.F. Martinez

      Really hope so

      • Madmagican

        It’s a nice dream, but reality’s a bitch :

I’m still gonna keep on hoping though

  • Jon Turner

Well, that’s good! Nintendo HAS to do this in order to rescue WiiU.

  • Milky Bacons

Captain Toad Treasure Tracker FOR LIFE.
Toad is love, Toad is life.

    • FaTih

      It’s all toad now…

      • Milky Bacons

        Toad one, Toad only

(Toad = the, not sure if that was clear)

    • Rinslowe

      Toad is great for soup…
Sorry, I heard someone in HK singing that the other day.

        • Rinslowe

          I… I…

          • Milky Bacons

Whenever you see a turnip, always throw it at someone. I guarantee you they will give you money.
            *whispers* The shroooooms…

  • anthony optimo

Kind of disturbed by the fact that Nintendo isn’t showcasing X.

    • Gootube Suck Ass

probably because it’s going to release next year.
These games are all 2014 I believe.

  • RyuNoHadouken

    Weak sauce

  • Christian Schoff

Sadly I will not be attending.

  • Rinslowe

Its more of the same, but that is a really good thing. Let the games we know about do the rounds and put them in players hands. Put them in the hands of the press etc…
This is Nintendo being quietly competent.

  • bistricky

PAX PRIME is the hottest ticket in town …. a few of my friends are going …. I couldn’t score a ticket ….
So, I guess I’ll be playing in one of the many cardrooms which operates in the Seattle region.

  • Gootube Suck Ass

Wii U has so little games 🙁 ….
And Only 2 games that i’m interest in, which are SSB4 and Bayonetea 2 …

  • nigeriangamer

very good list…these games are coming sooner than the others(devil’s third splatoon etc) so they need to concentrate on those then after release they can focus on the others with there own nintendo direct.cant wait to here more information about devil’s third and splatoon
