Heart Forth, Alicia is a 90s inspired RPG platformer with a unique story, pristine graphics, and a lofty funding goal that was met in just 24 hours. The Kickstarter launched yesterday and since then, it has seen a tremendous response from those interested in this style of game. With the funding goal hit, this means the game will definitely be available on PC, but the game’s creator launched the Kickstarter without any stretch goals in mind because he didn’t expect the response he got to the game. we didn’t open the campaign with stretch-goals set for a few reasons. First of all, we’re still working out specifics with the awesome people at Chucklefish Games, working on a budget with the two coding geniuses that we’d hire to do the porting to OSX/Linux, and the details of getting the game on specific consoles and handhelds. Secondly, not by a chance did we expect to be this far so early, and just didn’t want to get ahead of ourselves. Finally, we wanted confirmation from the backers that console and handheld ports are something that they wanted before we locked ourselves into delivering them by revealing our stretch goals. This is where you come in. With the base funding of the game out of the way in just 24 hours, you now have a voice to tell the developers you’d like to see the game released on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Currently there are mentions of other platforms throughout the updates released to backers and the developers plan to have stretch goals listed later, but if you’d like to see the game available on Wii U, let them know! local_offer Nintendo wii u stars Further Reading F-Zero X gets updated on Wii U to fix control New Zelda Breath of the Wild trailer and game Super Mario Maker Wii U vs 3DS comparison (vi Get Ocarina of Time on 3DS for only $14 New teaser site for Zelda: Breath of the Wild released How to track NES Classic Mini stock in time for Christmas Wooopigsooie Is it just me, or are the majority of games put out on Kickstarter these days “Metroidvania” style 2D adventure game? Doctors Tardis Oh look, another indie with SNES era graphics. I’m I the only one who is completely over that trend? Tray No, you are not the only one. NintendoFan I’ll back a game when a game actually innovates, not the same 2D pixelated stuff Keith I’m definitely over it!! URFTBOUND4LIFE . No way the SNES would have lighting effects like this. I know you’re being a wise guy,but come on!It looks great for what it is.Why knock the game just because of the visuals? It makes you sound kinda snobbish. Enumerating Wishes The parallax scrolling effect is worse than most SNES games I’ve played. The effect might also be exacerbated if upscaled to 1080p since I think this is a sub 720p native resolution game. So even with all the fancies I think it might come down to a similar quality level. Though I do like the game tbh. SP-937-215 I’m not over it. I’ll never get sick of this trend if games like Braid, Fez, Knytt Underground, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, etc. keep coming out. The new ideas are great, whether or not the graphics are top-notch. The one I’m really waiting for is Dex, but this looks cool too. NintendoFan This is really the Kickstarter season where every kickstarter ever is started Capt. Smoker That bitch looks epic to me Mario I know! Right!? Capt. Keith I’m not sure how your apparent “sarcasm” was “hahaha” funny but whatever floats your boat troll 😉 DJKeens Funny I caught the sarcasm pretty easily and thought it was pretty funny. Lighten up. This is far from trolling. Donaald No way, man, this can only be handled by the 3DO master race. Mwgly wow. Niknique Dang… the graphics and music sold me. So far most of my money seems to be going to kickstarter games 😛 steve the “k” in the top left corner says it all. HungryMetroid yeah, it’s another 2D indie game, but come on it looks pretty cool. FutureFox I see the Plant Mid-Boss from Super Metroid makes a cameo. Ughhh…. Archiq09 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/prismaticgames/hex-heroes?ref=discovery steveb944 This looked good, and once I saw that death… I WANT IT NOW! Everyone send them an email to get us a Wii U port! Skelterz I’m Going to be the first to come out and say it ”This is off topic”. But not so long ago myself and a few people who frequent this site often criticised its articles claiming they were readable elsewhere sometimes 2-3 days earlier, But i have to say i’ve slowly started to check the articles again recently and there’s a couple there i’ve not read anywhere else shout outs to the writers and info finders at wii u daily This is my favourite wii u site because of the community so good job on keeping things fresh i’m back to stay i hope Mwgly It would be hilarious if you could actually not only buy this via eshop, but instead get a physical copy of it. id love to see that.
