I honestly don’t think that there is any other entity in the gaming industry that can mimic the subculture that Pokemon has spawned nor do I think that there’s any other game that can have such an impact on so many people
Sure, there are MANY fun games to play. The Last of Us is one of the greatest movies ever played by many. The GTA series basically mastered the open world and random carnage. The plethora of MMORPGs and mostly multiplayer FPS games got many people hooked. But Pokemon can’t be touched.

    • Mario

That franchise was made by GODS!!

I loved the way you said “The Last of US is one of the greatest movies ever played by many”. I agree. I don’t mean to be that guy, but I thought that The Last of Us would of made a better movie than a game. I find it over rated, but thats just my opinion.

      • Marcus Navarro

It’s hella overrated. You’re not being that guy by being real. Seriously, the game’s enjoyable, just not very fun. There is a difference. The “average joe” part was well-done, but, like MGS4 and Uncharted 2 and 3, more than 1/2 the game was cutscenes and/or non-gameplay interaction. The best part of the game is story and the worst part is replay value, a core trait to any good game.

        • Merrfn

I agree with you. But people are treating it like it’s the god of gaming. Much like they are now with GTA V…

          • Marcus Navarro

Bet your ass that The Last of Us will be forgotten within a year from now.

          • Merrfn

Probably. I guess some people really enjoyed it. I don’t know how, but they did.

          • Marcus Navarro

Riveting story, pretty graphics, good presentation, unique gameplay, bandwagon, every reason Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are beloved.

    My body – still ready.

    • Merrfn

My body was ready the second I was born.

It’s a shame you can only win if you’re a resident of the United States or the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, Marianas, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

    • Merrfn

      Well that counts me out.

    • Doctors Tardis

Sweepstakes laws and rules can be a bitch internationally though, it’s understandable.

  • Mario

Gotta catch ‘Em all♪♪ Pokemon♪♪ Ahhh! Brings back memories of my childhood! Good times. Good times…

    • Zeldatrek

Agreed….Until those said memories got raped by dub step!

      • Mario

        • Shota

people made their own dubstep version of pokemon songs on youtube

  • Mochlum

Oh and Pokemon X and Y is apparently confirmed to not have 3D in the over world, only in battles. Seriously, it restricts you from doing it, or at least according to the recent commercial. I hope they change it, because that would be just plain stupid.

  • Marcel Kleine

This treasure hunt is only for US + Columbia… read the terms.
