The Game & Wario release date is sneaking up on us at June 23rd and we’re sure we’ll see more of it at E3, but here’s the animated intro you’ll see when you buy the game. Most Wario games have some sort of wacky intro, as I remember the Wario Land: Shake It! intro was really a mini-anime style opening. The game will retail for $39.99 on launch.

What do you think of the intro? Are you looking forward to seeing more of the mini-games available at E3? Let us know in the comments below.

    *Sniff sniff*
That last part…. That’s what got ME…. *Cries*

  • Jack5221

40$? Am I reading that correctly? Now Im DEFINITELY getting this! Money is kind of tight for me at the moment so thanks for pricing this accordingly Nintendo šŸ™‚

    • Ony

Sadly, when it comes to europe, they don’t fuck shit, 40$ -> 40ā‚¬
      (But 40$ = ~32ā‚¬) :/

      • Clel

Don’t forget that, in most places in Europe, the sales tax is included in the price.

      • DemonRoach

        But 1 American = 2 Englishman?

        • Clel

      • Andreas Sunde

Oh, lucky you, where you use ā‚¬. We use kr, and this will probably be 400kr, equivalent to 70$…

        • makkan

nice en till som pratar svenska, vad tror du om spelet blir det bra ?

          • Andreas Sunde

Norsk. Jeg tror spillet har potensiale, men jeg venter pƄ reviews.

  • Squid

I love Rhythm heaven, would I like this? It doesn’t look like the same WarioWare I know,,,

    • Johny

certanly doesnt look like the wario ware i loved on ds and wii :/ … gotta say i dont like the new approach

  • CEObrainz

Well one thing never changes, Wario is always after money….lol

    • DemonRoach

      so give him 39.99?

  • SmashFinale

    I never played a Warioware game…. or a Wario game at all…
Is it something worth looking into? I hear people have a blast with the series…

    • Cameron

WarioWare is a fun party game series, I think this will be pretty fun to play with friends.

    • Arthur Jarret

Get warioland: Shake it! too – gameplay is smooth and the animation is superb.

For warioware, the gamecube and 2 gba ones were much better than the 3 ds or wii ones. Start with the older titles first!

  • RockieOllie

Not really into the Wario Ware games more into Wario Land, but if people like this…

    • scarlet

I hope that they make a Wario Land 2… I loved that game on the Gamecube. It would be awesome on the Wii U! Hopefully if they do, they could make it a little longer. I finished it too fast. šŸ™

  • Lunatic

THIS GAME HAS BEEN OUT IN JAPAN SINCE MARCH. Why are things still being “revealed”?

  • Fred

I plan to buy it. I’ve read about all the games from those that imported it from Japan and it sound like more than $40 worth of fun to me.

    • LittleMofreaky

Agreed. Looks really experimental and replayable. I’ll be playing this all summer until Pikmin 3 comes out. (and some 3DS or VC games of course)

  • Johny

i dont like the way the “wario ware” franchise went.. .the micro games approach as on ds and wii was perfect. so hilarious, and fun… you could play it for hours…

    • eli

and can you tell me where exactly it went please?

      • DemonRoach

        it grew up?

      • H8ersBH8n

Went from 200+ microgames to 16 minigames.

  • Superstick98

Anyone else downloading/picking up day one? šŸ˜‰

    • DemonRoach

      hell no.

      • iceazeama

        same here.

    • Petri

Yes, but my retailer still hasnt listed this.
      And other retailers charge 55-65ā‚¬.

      • Superstick98

I hope they get their stuff together. No one needs to miss out on this game. It’s gonna be pure gold!

        • Petri

If its cheaper on eShop, I could make an exception.
But usually games are 10 to 20ā‚¬ more expensive on eShop than on retailers.

  • iceazeama

this game doesnt look like its even worth anything close to 40$ there is only 12 mini games!!!!!!

    • LittleMofreaky

      16 minigames and 250 unlockables

  • iceazeama

wario is a fucking fat ass!!!!! cant even do more than 12 mini games now!!!!!!!

    • LittleMofreaky

16 actually and 250 little goofy unlockables

  • wober2

Has anyone heard reviews of this game, since it is apparently out in japan?

  • Nintendofreak

never played it so i dont really know….n plus i dont like wario

  • discuss

Only 16 minigames? Won’t that get boring really quickly?

    • Baconfat23

It’s more like Nintendo Land mini-games as opposed to the WareWare micro mini-games.

  • Sdudyoy

Why is Waluigi not in any of these games?

  • Madmagican

Warioware games have always been a little too simple in my mind but I still enjoy them

  • Joyous Killer
    • Nintendofreak

      shouldnt it be 2013?

      • Joyous Killer

        You get the point….

  • I can’t wait! I already have my preorder wait.

  • david jarman

    I’m so getting this.

  • Petri

    I’m buying it for this:

“If Ashley runs into walls too often, she’ll stop moving until you use the touchpad to pat her head and make her feel better.”

  • Alex Damer

Loved this so much on my Gamecube šŸ™‚
