Twilight Princess in HD (Fan made)

So I came across this video, and I gotta say, twilight princess looks preeetty good. A lot more vibrant than the original, that's for sure.

There are a couple of different hi-res texture packs for Dolphin. They both look great. I can't wait to see what the official remake looks like if the rumor is true, though. I'm sure a team of paid devs can do even better than a hobbyist working in his spare time.

But i think official devs wont be allowed to change a lot of things as they wish. I mean, this guy has done a great job but there are a lot of things that doesnt really fit the cartoonish ambient of zelda. Looks marvelous though.

I don't really like what they did with the TP art style...

    Looks too Ocarina-y

That looks really nice. I hate how all these HD and Unreal 4 videos are always so spastic though, with the camera jumping everywhere or the characters running about like idiots. I know these creators want to show off what they've done, but it makes them hard to watch.

Who knows what they would do? Don't forget that the original Zelda Wii U tech demo was a Twilight Princess boss fight that they reworked to show off the Wii U's hardware.

    Wasn't that just CGI, though?
It didn't look like a playable demo.

No, go watch the videos again. It wasn't playable, but you could change the view with the GamePad, and change it from night to day to see the different lighting effects. It definitely wasn't just CGI; it was interactive, and confirmed to be running on the Wii U's hardware at that time.

But my point was that they took TP and made it look like that. So they may not be so strict with sticking to a certain graphical style that people think would be right to stay faithful to the original.

But the boss fight felt so scripted :O
It didn't feel like someone was playing it.

Yeah, it was. That part wasn't playable. I'm just saying it wasn't pre-rendered CGI. It was in-engine, and the proof is that you could control the camera and day/night while the script was going.

    Yeah that's fine.
I just meant that it didn't look like it was in a playable stage lol

Don't forget that was never meant to be a game. It was nothing but a tech demo to show off the Wii U's capabilities. I'm not saying that the demo was the beginning of this TPHD remake. I was only pointing that out to show what Nintendo may be willing to have done with a remake. And I definitely don't think they've gone to that kind of trouble for an entire remake.
